Working with this real estate company was a complete disaster from start to finish. What should have been an exciting process quickly turned into a stressful, frustrating nightmare thanks to their lack of communication, shady practices, and total disregard for their clients. First, they promised the world during the initial meeting -- constant updates, expert guidance, and "transparency every step of the way." In reality? Ghosted for days, missed deadlines, and when they did respond, it was with half-truths and excuses. They pushed properties that were clearly overpriced or in terrible condition, acting more like used car salespeople than professionals. It was obvious their priority wasn't helping me find the right fit -- it was lining their own pockets. Even worse, they were dishonest during the negotiation phase, leaving out crucial details, misrepresenting offers, and pressuring me to make decisions before I had all the information. At one point, I found out they were working both sides of the deal without properly disclosing it. Unethical much? Save yourself the time, money, and stress. This company does not care about your goals -- just their commission. Avoid at all costs. read more

Before i head off on a rant about the mortgage process in general, i just want to say that WE ARE SO VERY HAPPY with our experience with the entire team at SD Capital Funding. in a process where it feels like everyone is trying (most of the time successfully) to screw you, they made it feel like WE ACTUALLY HAD A FRIEND WATCHING OUR BACK, and that was the most valuable thing for us. that being said, the mortgage process is rough, invasive, and time consuming. It has been a great experience working with Lee Sheikh and SD Capital. We were devastated when one of the big banks rejected our mortgage application due to recent home mortgage rate spike. The big bank had a rate lock of 3/4th point less than the prevailing rate and didn't want to go into loss. They rejected us 10 calendar days before our scheduled home closing.
