We were wandering around and doing the tourist thing, and then realized we were starving. You know you're traveling with a really great group when you can agree on where and what to eat. Most of the places were closed and they were in the between time before dinner, but Mille et Une was happy to have us. We sat inside since the heat and humidity were quite high. Nice small wine list. Less choices makes it easier! Ordered two bottles of a shiraz blend for the table. Luckily, my fellow travelers do not have any special dietary needs. We all agreed that the Marocaine was the most intriguing pizza to try: Sauce, mozzarella, dried grapes, chicken, merguez, grilled vegetables, red onions, chick peas, spices, olive oil, parsley. These flavors combined offered a very unique and delicious pizza! We also ordered the Cesar salade, romain lettuce, bacon, garlic croutons, Kalamata olives, and parmesan....very good! We all agreed that the bacon and kalamata olives gave it a sort of mediterranean flavor. The service was really friendly and our server had many questions about the different cities we came from. I have to give this place 5 stars. After a full day of walking around Quebec City we wanted a quiet place with good pizza and we found it! First, they have an excellent local micro brew selection including some Canadian non-alcohol beers. We started with fresh green salads and then a beautiful 12 inch pizza which was perfect for 2 people. They split it and brought it on two plates, a thoughtful courtesy. Nice thin crust and delicious toppings. They top with a bit of Parmesan cheese, which is really flavorful. It seems like a local place, we were the only English speakers during our visit but the waitresses all spoke English. Well worth the short walk from the tourist district. So this was the only place open after 9 o'clock within miles. The girl was nice enough to get our order in before they closed. We ordered a very over priced pizza and salad. If we hadn't checked the salad it would have just been lettuce (seriously) took the pizza back to the hotel and it had turned to a soggy disaster. About as favorable as a watery bread. Perhaps dinning in would be better but avoid take out at all cost. The ambiance is fine if you dine is I suppose. read more

It was so much fun walking down the winding cobble stone roads to find this place. As the name says, they do have a HUGE selection of pizzas here! This is local-yocal Quebec City at its best. Wait staff is downright charming and the decor has the prerequisite stone wall plus some local holiday flare (see pic). For Quebec City, this pizza is as good as it gets, however if you're accustomed to NY/NJ Napolitano pies you will be disappointed. I'm only going to base this review on my delivery experience because taste is very subjective. We ordered delivery and it took 1.5 hours to a hotel half a mile away on a Monday afternoon. I asked for utensils and didn't get them, the pizzas weren't cut, and one of our four pizzas were wrong. When our pizzas got here they were an oily, soggy mess. Mille et une pizzas has some interesting and creative pizzas and they deliver while not that many restaurants deliver in the area. With that said, my pizza order here is the worst $50 I spent on my week long trip in Canada. read more

I have regularly picked up pizza from this resto but it was my first time eating in... My experience was a bit "whatever" so i'll just keep picking up! I came in a group of 6 and asked for a table on the patio (i know they couldn't reserve us one but i showed up early just to get in line). No one was able to tell me an approximate time when one would be available, not even a ballpark time... Anyways eventually after 20 mins of waiting we decided to take a table inside and as soon as they had served us our waters, that we didn't even ask for, a table of six was free on the patio. I thought to myself "score!" But our waitress very rudely told us that we had already been served inside and would have to stay inside! We hadn't even touched our waters and we all offered to carry our glasses outside with us, therefor leaving the table completely untouched, the answer was still "no". I was in too good of a mood to say anything but seriously it would have been so simple to just say "yes" and let a group of 6 first time customers enjoy the beautiful and rare summer weather of Quebec! At the end, the table outside was never re-seated, the service throughout the night was alright and at the end we were "reminded" twice that we didn't have to wait to pay our bill at the table but rather at the entrance... I'm gonna keep enjoying their great pizza but from the comfort of the where I choose and with no pressure to pay and get out. read more

A work colleague brought me here for lunch and it was packed at the noon hour. This is a first good sign of a well respected restaurant. As you enter the first thing you see in this smaller restaurant is the kitchen and the pizza chef carefully preparing pies to throw in the oven. We sat at a smaller table at the back which was quite packed. If personal space is your issue the. You may have some issues with this restaurant as they pack tables in quite tight. Having a gander around, pretty much everyone was having pizza for lunch. So. I decided to have the garnie (all dressed in Quebec lingo) which is usually a pepperoni, peppers, onion. Their menu is very clever with many different types of pizza all the way from shrimp, Margaret du canard (duck), escargots, Moroccan and many other interesting choices. However I found pricing to be a bit on the higher side for one of these gourmet concoctions. Back to my garnie pizza, it was fresh, doughy but crispy at the same time with a perfect portion of toppings that provided zesty excellent flavour. I chose the smallest portion and it was perfect for me for lunch! I'd rank this as probably one of the better pizza joints I've eaten in a while but expect to pay $20 + per person for lunch if you want a gourmet option. They included tip in the invoice ( a bit odd) but keep this in mind when paying! read more

I don't know why I expected so little from Canadien pizza, but I did. My husband wanted something cheaper than than $70 meals we'd been eating, and I was cool with that. Pizza Mag was pretty basic: Formica tables and local beer. But the waiter was very nice, even told us not to leave the tip we left in the table because it was already included in the price of the meal. But the pizza!!! We ordered one with the works, mushrooms and olives and pepperoni, the toppings were stacked on thick and it was incredible. I don't know if the smoky flavor came from the cheese, the tomato sauce or the pepperoni but it was so enticing I couldn't stop eating even when I was stuffed. The best pizza I've ever had! When I first came to the city, my host of airbnb recommend me this small restaurant. He said locals love it. I am a fan of pizza so I didn't take his word too seriously. I came to the pizza restaurant and ordered a smoked meat pizza, at first I was anxious because nobody on the yelp have ever ordered this. But it was amazing, really a good mixture of pizza and traditional quebec smoked meat! I asked for extra spicy and they made that perfect. I went to eat a late dinner with my mom and sister after reading the reviews. Anyway, after waiting about 40 minutes for our 14" super veggie pie, instead of a whole pizza pie, we were each served 2 pre-cut pizza slices on separate plates. When I asked why the pie had a total of 6 slices instead of 8 slices, the server said that it was the correct size pizza. The pizza itself was chewy, soggy and didn't taste like it came right out of the oven. For a $39 pie, save your money. I would not recommend the place and I would not go back there again. read more

Biggest waste of $60 I have ever spent. We ordered delivery from our hotel using their website so prices weren't easily visible. When I ordered on the phone they said $60 which sounded very close to $16. I asked if she had said $16 to confirm and she agreed, but that's not really the issue. The quality of the pizza was atrocious. I ordered a smoked meat pizza and the crust was so soggy and wet when you picked up a slice all the ingredients fell off. My boyfriend used to love this place...he has been talking about Pizza Mag for years. I don't usually eat pizza but I had run a 10k and we thought we'd celebrate with Pizza Mag! Well, obviously ownership and name has changed, along with the atmosphere, decor, level of service and quality of food. Apparently the place used to be cute and charming, as well as always packed, now it looks to be decked out with remaindered St Hubert furniture. The waiter assured us that the pizza was the same quality. Well, maybe it was but the cook did NOT have it together. I requested a pizza with both potatoes and spinach. I received a pizza with burnt spinach on the top and RAW potatoes underneath. I blamed myself for such a "complicated" order, but my stomach hurts so much now I wish I had sent it back. This, combined with the fact that my tiny, undercooked/burnt pizza was $17 (I was charged extra for the sad, charred leaves) and my boyfriend's not even remotely fancy beer was NINE DOLLARS, really made my poor fellow have to take a moment of silence for how badly his favorite restaurant had gone downhill.
