First time visiting this mall it is quite big and has a ton of stores and food spots to grab food ,snacks and drinks.

Chinese restaurant in the food court- the Lo Mein was the best of this meal, the broccoli beef lacked flavor, and the pork rib was a little too sweet for me but very flavorful. Food was moderately priced. I would go back but try something different. Service was very quick and pleasant. read more

We wanted to try a different JCPenney from out area so we decided to take a ride to Erie. We haven't been to this mall in quite a while but was such a nice change from our malls in Buffalo. It was clean and had quite a few stores. We loved Boscov, something we don't have in Buffalo. They had a few places to eat as well. We will be back just for the clothing options. The stores here have a big variety and we spent more money than we have in quite a while. The stores were much better for variety. read more

Millcreek Mall is a one-level indoor mall, and most of its storefronts are occupied. (This mall is definitely not dead.) The anchor stores are Boscov's, JCPenney, Macy's, and Dick's Sporting Goods. Dozens of other stores sell clothing, shoes, accessories, books, toys, housewares, etcetera. This mall also has over 30 restaurants. As I walked around the mall, I noticed that the mall was clean and in good condition. I bought merchandise from American Eagle, Boscov's, Eddie Bauer, and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory (4 stars each). I ate dinner at Firebirds restaurant (5 stars). I saw groups of teenagers hanging around, but I did not notice them causing much trouble. The restrooms near the food court were clean. The parking lot outside had plenty of spaces. read more

This is one of the best malls in PA, if not the best. Very active mall that is constantly updating and filling in new stores if old ones close. In this economy it is hard to find good malls, but this one is doing very well and has a bright future. There are very few vacant stores, as most of the storefronts are occupied by a wide variety of shopping experiences. All anchor tenants are filled and all food court spots are filled as well. Only downside is the bathroom locations. Hopefully in this modern economy this mall can keep thriving and adjusting to the times. Very clean as well. read more

This is a very nice mall well kept up and clean and decorated! The mall was mostly filled with stores but had a few empty ones but then what mall doesn't at this point. It was comfortable and there are a lot of food choices in and around the area itself. Tons of parking and convenient from the interstate as well. It was nice to walk a mall that actually had stores inside. A nice change from what is available to me at home. Millcreek Mall is a one level mall that is laid out kind of like, you know what, I'm not going to mention what it looks like, just know that it is a one level mall that has many corridors to go down. The mix of stores offered felt like what the late 90s and early 00s had to offer. But they were updated storefronts that offers what you might need for today. There were some empty storefronts, but they were by far outnumbered by occupied storefronts. It was really nice to be able to walk around in a mall and basically get everything you needed in one stop. Kind of how it used to be. The food court was full of businesses, stores had a wide variety of items to offer. People were actually shopping and not mall walking. It threw me for a loop. The one thing that I do have to say about this place that is a downside, the bathrooms. You need more bathrooms. You either have to have the ability to hold it or you just map out your shopping according to where the bathrooms are located. Basically they are only located in the anchor stores which makes for a very long journey depending on where you might be in terms of the mall. Fairly easy to get to from the highways. If you are staying in hotels nearby it makes for a great distraction. Also a great place to go if it is raining outside by chance. read more

It's a deceiving mall: at first glance it doesn't seem thaaat bad because there ARE a variety of stores, and in reality they have made major renovations over the last several years that have resulted in a marked overall improvement. However after a twenty minute walk-through any serious shopper knows that apart from the anchor stores and maybe one or two other stops there is very little to see. There are no designer brands and really nowhere to shop for a young professional. Look, let's be serious here. Millcreek Mall is listed as one of the largest malls in the US. With this "fact", whatever city this mall is located in is irrelevant. King of Prussia isn't located in Philadelphia, Mall of America isn't in Minneapolis, etc. The fact is, most of the mall is either a parking lot, or the large department stores. Outside these two things, there's actually very little retail in the actual indoor portion, which is really what matters. The outdoor section was quite inaccessible due to the large parking lot. I mean, if you were to do it properly, look at Woodbury Commons in New York State...at least the main section and the side sections are decently connected without walking through a maze of cars. I'd rather stop by Walden or King of Prussia if I were to make a trip down south to shop. read more

Watch the parking lot!!! They never take care of the gigantic pot holes!!! I contacted many mall employees along with filing a complaint and I was ignored....just like they ignore their parking lot... I hit a massive crater that was right in front of the stop sign....The owner bathes in his cash instead of fixing issues for the people who visit. read more

Wednesday is the day to go to the mall. No crowds. Nice amount of stores, both sides of the price range, high and lower prices. No tax, can't beat that being from buffalo, ny(8.75%). Enjoyed my space in this large mall. We are coming back at the end of the month. Nice choice of food to have. read more

Wikipedia had this mall listed as the 4th largest mall in America. Sounds good, so I took a lil'roadtrip with my girls... 3.5 hours away, or about another 1.5 hours away from Niagara / Buffalo, which is our usual American shopping spot. What a let down. 4th largest? Are you kidding me? More like 4th smallest. They must have included the size of the parking lot (which was massive), and the distance it took to get to all the little stores surrounding the mall. I could literally walk from one end of the mall to the other in 5 minutes. And it was only one level, with closed down shops all around. The food court had about 4 or 5 restaurants, if that gives you any indication. This place would have easily received one star, had it not been the pretty good Macy's. Certainly not the biggest, but because the business was so bad in this area (the mall was bare), they had a large inventory with a ton of discount. Most places would have been sold out, but there were plenty of coats in all sizes, at 50% plus off. Staff was also very friendly--we used three customer service kiosks for checking out, and all three times, the service was excellent. read more

Millcreek Mall may be the only mall in Erie, and that's okay. You can find A LOT of businesses along Peach Street, so this is an added bonus. It's a nice, clean mall with some of my favorite stores including NY & Company, and Charming Charlie. I don't recall if Burlington is still there, but that's one of my favorites also. Whenever I'm in town, I stop at the mall. There's plenty of parking and reasonably priced stores. read more

It is going to be a long stay in Erie if this is the only shopping option. It is just a sad, sad mall. Macy's is the best option of the anchor stores :( Not even a Banana Republic, Ann Taylor or J. Crew :( I guess this mall is fine if you are desperate and need to get something but definitely don't make a special trip here. Heading into Erie PA once in awhile sure is refreshing from always heading into Buffalo. This mall is large enough that you can find anything you want, but small enough that it won't take you days to find it, plus the general public isn't snobbish! It also helps because this mall is on the most heavily traveled street in Erie, which also means - if you aren't a mall shopper, you will have plenty of other places to visit too! read more

You won't get your upscale boutiques (not even close), but they've been slowly improving the mall over the years, in particularly the past five years. Every store can be found in a larger mall with even more selection. I probably go here twice a year now. Mill Creek Mall and Shopping Center is an average size shopping area, that offer slightly above average shopping along with a decent variety of dinning. For NW Pennsylvania and bordering NE Ohio, you can usually find what you need. Even if your looking for a pair of Last years Cole Haan or Gucci shoes, they have a DSW, Macys, and JCPenney. My review is in regards to the Starbucks that is located by the entrance of Macys. I would not normally write a review for "Starbucks", but when we go to Mill Creek we always stop for a Tea and Latte. We have all been to hundreds of Starbucks, but this one always stands out to me. First off, we are big fans of their kitchen items I.e. Coffee cups, tea boxes, and knickknacks. This star bucks always keeps there store fresh and new. Every time we go they have something new and interesting. But above all that, the staff is superb, very peasant, courteous and polite. They always make small talk and genuinely make you feel welcome. This Starbucks is small and quaint, and I have never seen it unorganized or untidy. The bathrooms are kept secure for customers only and is always clean. The reason I am writing this review, our last visit, I had ordered a Blueberry scone, when I we sat down to enjoy my scone it was slightly dry. The barista had asked me if I was enjoying the pastry. I hesitated at first but she is someone we had a repport with so I told here that is was slightly dried out, not horrible just a little dry (If you like scones, you know there's nothing worse then a dry scone). She immediately came to our table and was very apologetic, I had stated to her that its not a big deal, and don't worry about it. She insisted on giving me a refund or replacement pastry. She then stated that they just received a batch of pumpkin scones and they were delicious. I'm not going to argue over a fresh scone specially pumpkin, so I agreed. When she returned, not only did she have a fresh delicious pumpkin scone for me, but she also had a small cup of Pumpkin Latte to boot.. Now that's customer service! And it was delicious. Employee behind the jewelry counter at Boscov's ignorantly informed me that my 1 clothing item I was checking out could have been done at the clothing department. Told me she would do it this time but to "keep that in mind" for the next trip. I've been in many different stores and have never had a cashier tell me they couldn't check out an item because it's from a different department. I strongly recommend this individual completes customer service courses. read more

Unfortunately, it's the only shopping mall for miles around. It has your typical department stores and popular brands, but the selection is very limited, and designer &high end are scarce. Everyone is helpful and friendly, but if you're a hardcore shopper, this isn't the place for you. The parking lot is ridiculously large for no apparent reason so you'll never have trouble finding a spot. Google map the mall to see the location and size. read more

So so Mall. Small enough not To get lost. Yet I still seem to be lost every time I walk around. And why are the bathrooms hidden???? OMG! I tried to find one with the map. It is not where the map says?!? Not cool when you have to go and you just sprinted down from the entrance to H&M and nope, not there! Ugh!!! Store selection aside, the cashiers have been asking for my drivers license when I try and pay with a credit card. This actually violates Visa and Mastercard agreements. they usually do this kind of thing during the holidays and it's so irritating because you get BUSSES of Canadians who are SO RUDE. I have seen them throw things on the floor and when they heard me talking to my daughter on the phone, and figured out I lived in the area, they asked me to go to the back of the line because they were on a time table. Now certainly that is not the fault of the Millcreek Mall or it's workers, but they seem to support this rush of customers, and all the drama that comes with it, even if it makes the shopping experience a complete hassle. If you see a few buses in the parking lot.....don't bother. They also seem to have zero security because one year my car got keyed and they told me they don't have any outside cameras or any surveillance at all. Just a few middle aged security guards. They also had photos with Santa this year, as they do every year. There was a Bing event that said you could bring your dogs on one special night. So my Daughter and her friend brought their dogs.....well the Bing event was from the year before and the mall security escorted them out. My daughter went through alot of trouble to dress up the kids and wrangle the animals, only to be escorted out like criminals. Can't they manage their own social media? read more

I have been going to Millcreek all my life for that sweet tax free clothes and because it is a short drive from Jamestown where I grew up. Even back in the day, you could get a more diverse selection. There is a lot more on Peach St now to compete with the mall though now (Kohl's, Target, Discount Stores like Marshalls/TJ Maxx). There are not a ton of high end places here, but I don't think they would be as supported. It is a weird set up where you don't realize what branch you go down. When I've been here with family, we wander more than shop, maybe hit up an anchor store. The Macy's here does have a lot of good selection that seems well organized. I have spent more time/money at the outlying plazas around the mall complex though. There are a lot more sit down food options (but chains) recently added such as Mad Mex, Primanti Brothers, Firebirds Woodfire Grill. I would recommend the independent Picasso's Deli in the side plaza. All in all, for the size of Erie and surrounding area, it is a good mall. At least other higher end options if that is your thing are only a couple hours away. read more

I'm all about the mall scene. I've gone shopping here each time I've visited Erie. The clothing stores seem to have a lot more selection than the stores back in Buffalo, NY. Of course the tax-free deal is a PLUS. I'm not too hard to please when it comes to malls. Just give make it clean, with some good store fronts and you've got me. read more

If you do not use gift cards by a certain date the value decreases every month. DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS!

Do not buy a mall gift card. I live in Florida and I received a mall gift card as a gift. I came up to Erie and used it once. I went back to Florida and came back up a year later and found that I could not use the mall gift card again because they deduct a monthly fee if you do not use it. Not recommended for a gift. Get one if you are going to use it asap and if you are from the Erie area. read more

I frequently have to make trips to malls in Pittsburgh or Cleveland so that I can avoid going to the Millcreek Mall (my usual shopping spot). This mall definitely has a nice atmosphere, but it lacks a lot of important stores. Its main department stores include Macy's, Bon-Ton, Sears, and JC Penney's. Therefore, people who live in/near Erie are missing out on stores like Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Dillard's. The mall has a decent selection of young-adult stores like Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle, Buckle, Express, The Gap, Hollister, and PacSun. However, it is missing stores like Forever 21 and H&M, which have cute young-adult clothes for affordable prices. Also, the food court has a nice environment, but is very small in its selection of restaurants. read more

Millcreek Mall is by far not one of the largest malls in the country. It is only just over 1.1 million square feet in retail space, just average in size. The complex may have that much retail space but it includes strip mall areas and other businesses that are located on the mall property and not under the roof of the mall. read more

I grew up in Erie and loved this mall. To me its alot better tham alot of malls ive been to in bigger cities. And now thats its been renovated its even better. People in Erie need to appreciate this mall because its going to be a long time before another one gets built there. read more
