Lived here since they've built the property and the place slowly deteriorated over time, with some things that maintenance couldn't even fix. (Rolling drawers that can't stay shut, doors that won't stay put and would slowly open on its own, faucets that start falling off.) One time the maintenance guy installed the tub faucet upside down and told us to just remember that it's backwards when turning the water hot/cold. I told him to just fix it and put it back the way it is. WHAT? How could you do a shoddy job and expect us to live with it? Leasing office staff are rarely available. I get that they're always putting around the complex in their golf carts, taking up the good uncovered parking spots for some time, but at least keep one person there manning the phones. There's the occasional pizza party or event where they try to get tenants to leave reviews. But I'd rather have leasing answer emails and phone calls than to actually see them when they're throwing a small soirée. read more

I would not recommend this property to anyone. The management lacks transparency, changes explanations when charges are disputed, and fails to provide clear supporting documentation. To preface, I have never written a review. But Millpoint was terrible. 1. Towed illegally. In the paperwork, it states to have the parking pass hung up on your mirror. We did. We came out to find our car towed. We had to pay $350 to get our car back. We called Millpoint and provided picture proof of our pass in the window. Millpoint said that they were not contracted with the company and couldn't do anything about it. This is illegal. There needs to be a contract in place for a company to tow. Millpoint even handed us a packet of information in the beginning with the towing company. When called out on the lie, the receptionist hung up the call. 2. Uncleanly hallways: The first thing you notice when walking into the building? Nice living arrangements? No. An aroma of trash and dog feces. Absolutely awful. Hallways were usually littered with trash. 3. HIDDEN FEES. We budgeted for an apartment of $1600-1650. Our rent turned out to be $1900 a month plus power. AND the power company kept disconnecting our service because we "moved out". 4. Our first month, we used a credit card to pay rent. This card had worked for other purchases, so we assumed that it had worked when rent was due and not a word was said. Three days later, we got a "late rent notice". When we asked the reason behind it, they didn't like the name on the card. It was my sister's full name, found on the leasing paperwork? Still confused on that one. When asked why they didn't notify at the beginning, they didn't answer. 5. Withholding Security Deposit. Fair warning, you WILL NOT get this back. There are a plethora of reviews stating this. We thought we would be different if we deep cleaned the place ourselves. We used toothbrushes on the grout and windowsills, and rug shampooed. They took the whole sum and charged more over a "missing" parking pass. 6. For the cleaning fee you pay when you move out, it doesn't go to any use. My sister and I had to scrub our apartment when we moved in. The cabinets had left over food, and the showers had bodily hair (not the nice kind either). It was so disgusting that it made us physically sick. Great bonding moment. 7. Dog feces everywhere. They claim they do DNA tests on the dog feces left out. They can't with the amount out there. You couldn't walk on the grass without stepping in a pile. 8. You terminate your right to a class action when signing the lease. This was one of the shadiest parts of the lease. FAIR WARNING, a lease asking you to waive your right to speak out against their shady practices, isn't a lease worth signing. 9. Office staff often left an hour early before listed closing time. I understand having a family and emergencies. But leaving early multiple times a week? This left the door locked for packages. 10. The apartment boasts of "controlled access". This means doors are locked to get into the buildings. My sister and I felt safe reading this. They had key fobs. We never thought to test it before signing the lease. A few nights after we signed the lease, we tested it. Doors are NEVER locked. Anyone can wander in. 11. They bend the lease to suit their needs. Towing incident was one. The second one happened when we were turning our parking passes to vacate the property. There was a dispute over a missing parking pass. We turned both of them in. We asked for video footage and the person who checked them in. We never heard a response on that part, what we heard was that we needed photo evidence of us turning them in. When we questioned where this was stated in the lease, they ignored it and said they would send us to collections. 12. SOLICITING FAKE REVIEWS. My sister and I occasionally watched the google reviews when we began to realize the shadiness of the complex. It went from a 3-star to a 2-star. That's when fliers began appearing in the hallway. They promised a chance to have your name entered into a raffle for a prize in exchange for a 5-star review. A month later, the apartment climbed from a 2-star to a 3-star on google. 13. Rent was FAR HIGHER compared to neighboring complexes. The Vine and Concord at Geneva had cheaper prices and more amenities. You're getting gypped staying here. read more

Unbelievable! The management company, AMC would rather offer to let you out of your lease than clean or repair an apartment. That is until you actually ask to be let out of the lease then they have a complete lapse of memory. Our unit was in such bad shape that it felt like an insult. There is still a window leak which has not been repaired. The management team is incredibly thin skinned, childish and unprofessional. I'm still completely flabbergasted by their behavior. When people at the city call this management company "dirt bags", you know you're in a bad situation. They have absolutely no interest in the property. They would let the buildings crumble into the ground if they could still lease units. They have even less interest in the tenants and having the occasional sugary treat social just doesn't cut it. This is our second experience with AMC. I wish we had caught this important relationship with the property before we leased. We have found Utah - anywhere in Utah a less than ideal place to rent but I just can't get my head around this place. It's an exception even for Utah! read more

I have had nothing but rising rates with this apartment and for my $1,499 a month rent payment plus a garage rental and basic maintenance fees and insurance. All of the other fees they have charged to my account they are billing me for $2,300 this month that's almost $1,000 on top of my rent in fees. Listen if you are looking for a place to live do not consider Mill-point. They will take advantage of you in every way they can. Do not trust them do not move here. If you like paying almost double what you should or what is in your agreement this may be your place. For apartment lookers, the company that owns these buildings isn't keeping up with maintenance properly. The train tracks being so close means you have a mini earthquake every time a train passes. Our buildings stairway is covered in the fallen paint, dead mosquitos cover the walls, and down the hall there is an access panel open for bats to come out of!! The showers are not caulked, so mold will grow behind the plastic and there's nothing you can do. Guest parking is nonexistent, they charge you a guest pass for parking on the side road past hours. They recently sprayed a sealant for the remaining concrete outside, and most of the fumes went straight through the vents into our apartment. People are so packed in outdoor parking that it's usually inconvenient. And believe the other reviews! The people at the leasing office are not always professional or trustworthy, they just want to get you to sign so they can go home. You WILL do better than Mill Point read more

Apartment looks great on the surface, but started falling apart after 2 months. The countertop is not attached, the walls are not painted (just primed drywall), the laundry and closet doors won't latch, and the front door lock keeps getting jammed. These were brand new apartments when we moved in. There are also doors that keep hitting each other, drawers that will not open properly, and impractical spaces in the bathrooms. These apartments were very poorly planned in terms of their blueprint. Because of this, some damages are inevitable (scraping doors). I do not look forward for the charges they are going to place on us upon moving out for their shoddy workmanship. It was easy to see where they were cutting corners. The parking is terrible. There is no visitor parking, and they give out way too many uncovered parking passes when many of the covered spots are left unassigned. They also do not allow the option for more covered parking places or paying for a garage unit for certain buildings. They are also very selective with towing. Many times I have come home from work with people parked in the middle of the road. The complex does nothing about these abandoned vehicles. When I went to complain they said they gave them permission. If you are giving multiple people on multiple occasions permission to block the parking lot, then you have a serious issue on your hands. They also keep harassing our apartment for our patio. According to them (not the contract) nothing is supposed to be on the porch. Apparently you don't own that space during your lease. You are supposed to store your grill, bicycle, etc. in your apartment or, as one of the managers told me, in front of your car. They have no bike racks and as mentioned before will not allow my apartment to rent a garage unit. They are incredibly slow when it comes to maintenance requests, and only available during obscure times. Management is also hard to get a hold of. They look super cool on social media with their contests and such, but that is the only positive review I have for this place. We've never been able to use the amenities since we moved in (8 months ago). The lounge, gym, pool, hot tub have all been closed. It is understandable for covid, but the mandate has been lifted for over a month, and management will not give a straight answer as to when they'll open. The management is terrible to work with, and the complex does not keep their end of the contract. Do not move here. They are shady, and the apartments are incomplete. read more

My family and I have lived at Mill Point for over a year. We are a few months into our second year lease. Though we have had a few issues, maintenence and the people in the office have been able to resolve all of them. We really like our apartment, we often remark that it feels more like a house than an apartment. The layout is good and the design is modern. Parking can be a challenge, but now that they've changed the parking policy so you can pay for and reserve an overnight parking pass on the street I believe it will be a lot easier to have family come and visit. I have yet to try that though. The people in the office often plan fun activities for the residents, like pool parties and egg hunts. They are really friendly. My kids have lots of room to run and play outside, there are three different parks and lots of sidewalks for scooter games around. We like it here and would recommend it to others. read more

Don't do it!!! Run!!! The worst apartment experience ever. 1st, yes the parking situation is horrible. If you want to have guests over for the night they have to park on a side street and send in their automobile information such as a photo of their license plate to a towing company to avoid being towed and paying a $250 fee to get their auto back. This happened to a sister when she visited because we forgot to tell her to not park inside the complex. Then it happened to my niece because there was no more parking available on the side street so she parked in an unmarked space. Then my car go towed because somehow the inside parking decal that hangs from the rearview mirror ended up missing overnight... I am still trying to figure this one out. Oh, then there is another story about a guy who had to get his attorney to write up a letter to get his car fixed after the towing company broke something underneath his car, I can't remember all the details but thank god for Lawyers. But, have no fear, the office staff will just tell you to use Uber if there is no guest parking left. 2nd, yes the office staff is usually very nice, but they do lie sometimes. They do what they have to do to just try and get another renter in the door so they can get paid and go home. 3rd, they have a tennis court and basketball hoops but they have stayed locked now for at least the past few months. 4th, the gym hours were at one time horrible. They did not open until about 9am and closed... I think it was around 9pm or maybe a little earlier. But, they seemed to have finally broadened these hours. My guess is the right person with a little authority probably complained. And, I could probably go on but I think you get my point. Run!!! updating my review because this place will suck up your $$$$ as i though they would. I moved in when they were pet friendly and had to pay a $600 pet fee which is totally normal except $300 of that goes straight to the owner and not towards the apartment! luckily i was only charged $7.45 upon move out on top of my $1200 that I paid split between my security deposit and pet deposit. I really loved this place when i first moved in and (((((I will say for the most part they stick to what they say and the documents are always correct so make sure you read the fine print)))))))), but after being there for 15 months this is what Ive noticed I was towed 3 times while I lived there $300 each time and even though i had a pass "there was nothing they could do" The hot tub was always disgusting and so murky you couldn't even see your legs through the water when you sat down The hall ways and especially the door ways ALWAYS smelt like dog pee and before you can even walk in to bldg A the grass smells so horrid like dog pee (its very welcoming) The staff are very friendly when you first move in they will answer all your calls and tell you what you want to hear and then they wont answer you when you call after that The gym is always super gross the windows are full of hard water and spider webs Don't even get me started on guest parking there is like 20 Guest spots for the ENTIRE complex and don't try to breach that rule because you will be paying $300 in towing fees later on They wont let you hang anything or put anything on the patios of the first floor without bugging you to take it all down if it doesn't fit their agenda If you park under the stalls YOUR CAR WILL GET DINGED more than once, I never mined because I have an older car. There are no cameras!!!! so if anything happens to your car while living there good luck proving it If you believe in negative energy this place is full of it something about this apartment never felt like a home everything went wrong from the moment I moved in till the moment I moved out this place is full of bad vibes and you feel on edge every time you walk in. The AC sounds like a rocket taking off you cant hear anything when it is on and i mean anything The washer and dryer in the one bedrooms are so tiny I could wash maybe 5 towels at a time! If you live on a lower level you WILL hear your upstair neighbors and I will say I had my fair share of hearing my next door neighbors do the dirty and literally everything else i could hear them talking, I could hear their phones, their tv and anything else the walls are paper thin I personally thought it was weird and uncomfortable that my neighbors could hear everything and I knew they could when they came over and asked me to turn down my music and there was no music (I was watching tik tok on my phone) this is a really pretty place to live but it would be a lot nicer if it was kept clean and the apartments were a tad bigger for the price of living here the apartments are tiny. **MUST READ** We have not had any major issues with this place until today (though uncovered and guest parking can be difficult). One of our friends used our key fob to pick up a package she had shipped to our address, and she was confronted by one of the office agents about not being a resident. When I got home from work there was a "THREE DAY NOTICE TO COMPLY OR VACATE" letter on our door because they said we have a non-resident in our apartment. They didn't bother to call us with any questions or explanations. When I asked an office agent about it, she said there wasn't anything we could do except to immediately pay the $35 fee they required for posting the letter on our door, as well as expect surprise apartment visits from them. This is crazy, especially since I was just in the office a few weeks ago when everyone had issues with key fobs. We have also never been late on rent. I feel like they just gave me the cold shoulder on this. We were considering renewing our lease in the next few months, but I will not be doing so. My friend had also been looking at possibly applying here when her current lease is up (possibly signing for the apartment we are in if we moved), but after this, that definitely won't be happening. Extremely cheap appliances/products chosen, on top of choosing low quality contractors to do the job resulting in many cosmetic issues that after a year living here still haven't been resolved. The apartment itself is nice & has lots of storage, but there's plenty of new apartments in this area that fit that criteria and I highly recommend living at one of those complexes. Here are some of the reason I do NOT recommend Mill Point: -- One of the absolute worst parts of living in this apartment complex is the noise. I've rented for 8 years now and every single one of those rentals was in a crowded complex, but the noise level during those previous 7 years didn't even compare to how loud this apartment was. The music from my neighbors' was almost constant. I was woken up several times from my neighbors music (both beside me and below me), so that tells you how thin the walls and floors are. We worked from home and it drove us a bit insane to have to hear our neighbors all day, every day. Then on top of hearing our neighbors, they are lots of dogs in the complex, so plan to hear lots of barking (which didn't bother me, but just FYI). -- Parking is awful. I thought it wouldn't be that bad when we moved in, but it was. Don't move in here unless you only have one car since you only get one assigned parking spot. One of our friends lives two complexes down, and has a private garage with their new apartment for the same price. And you're allowed to have your visitors park in front of your garage, which would've been amazing to have. Here at Mill Point, your visitors have to part on the street and walk over to your apartment, which I didn't think was awful, but several of our visitors have told us since we moved out how much they hated having to do that and sometimes didn't want to come because of it haha. So be aware of that! -- Our apartment was dirty upon arrival. Not a huge deal because I was planning to clean it anyway, but still annoying because they took $400 out of our deposit for carpet cleaning, apartment cleaning, and a paint job, but when we moved in, the apartment wasn't cleaned for us and there was all this weird blue stuff on our walls that we could never get cleaned off (which is why I'm assuming they charged us for a paint job even though I reported it right when we moved in). It seems unfair to charge us for something we didn't even have when we moved in. -- Moving out was horrendous. You're required to give a 60 day notice to vacate. Very inconvenient for a couple who was purchasing a house and didn't know when we'd go under contract/be able to move out. Our move in date on our house was on the 5th. They didn't give us the option to prorate rent and said we had to pay until the end of the month even though we were moving out within the first week of the month. So by the time we closed, we still had to pay a month and a half rent even though it would be vacant. Also, there's a substantial month to month fee which also made the unknowns of moving out a headache. We ended up paying over $2,500 extra because of the 60 day notice (but really longer than 60 days because you have to pay until the end of the month you move out). When we called the office the day before our lease ended about dropping off the keys, they said the office would be closed so we had to either drop the keys off the day before (which we weren't able to do because of previous plans we had made) or pay a prorated rent until the office was open again. When I called her out on how we were originally told two months ago they didn't allow prorated rent when we were trying to move out on the 5th, she didn't even respond. Thankfully we spoke with the office manager and she was more than accommodating for us to drop off the keys. So I highly recommend speaking to the actual manager instead of a leasing agent if you ever have concerns. It was ALWAYS a headache speaking to the leasing agents & office employees, but the manager made things simple and easy. read more

BAD customer service already? Wow. I haven't even signed a lease or asked one question yet and no answer at all at of ALL the times I called those number for several days. And yes I called during open hours. (Don't be fooled by their "only by appointment" under their hours in their sites. Hours are actually posted on the one of the other websites I listed. Honestly, I feel like I was misled. We asked if parking was an issue or not at the complex, they said we should always be able to find a spot. One month into living here and we regret signing. If we get home after 8pm we can rarely find a spot. We cannot leave after 8pm to run to the store as we won't find a spot when we get home. I have a two bedroom apartment and we have two cars. I feel like it's not ridiculous to ask for a spot to park my car at the home I pay a total of $1500/month for. I have had to go sleep at someone else's house because we cannot find parking. That's not acceptable. Stop signing more people than you have car stalls for! Stop building complexes with less car stalls than you register!!!! We are very disappointed and upset. read more

The place is extremely cute but living here has been an absolute JOKE! The apartment manager is SO extremely RUDE and BELITTLING and will talk down to me every time I converse with her. They added a dog poop company, which I think is a great idea to keep the place clean, but with that they will charge you $200 if you don't clean up their poop (first time too). Parking is ridiculous, other complexes I have been to are so much better about parking than this place, you have to call the towing company and they are just as rude as the apartment manager. The amenities are never open and when they are open they are ridiculous circumstances, for example the gym was only open from 10-6 then they extended it to 9-10 and now its closed again. The pool was open for about 2 months but only open from 10-6, now its closed again (yes, even the hot tub). Seriously do not waste your money coming here, the Vine which is right next door has pricing that is similar, they have amenities that are ACTUALLY open, parking is not absurd, and the manager is extremely kind. read more

Renter beware: there is very little notice of their parking policies. We drove around the complex and saw ONE small sign at the front regarding parking. We were visiting my brother and decided to park in the very back where there was plenty of parking and the spots were not marked. They towed us within several hours. We asked management about this and they suggested in the future we park on the street. We looked in that location and ALL spaces were taken. Management also suggested that we park at a store parking lot and have an Uber bring us back up to these apartments. I'm NOT kidding! It cost us almost $300 to get our car out of the towing compound. If you have friends who'd like to visit you in this complex there's a HIGH possibility their car will be towed. These people DO NOT care about people. I pray management and the owners get what's coming to them one day. What they are doing is dishonest and immoral. What disgusting people. The actual apartments are great let me just say that, but the parking is ridiculous. The first month living here was great because there wasn't enforced parking for where we had to park. But last night was the first time with parking passes and assigned parking and well. I got towed because there was no where to park so I parked on the street where it is for visitors and called the towing people to have to reserve it for me. Should even have to reserve a spot for where I live just to park. They didn't answer so I thought I would be okay because I have my parking pass showing. That was not the case. They told us parking would be okay, and it so far has been the worst thing ever. We didn't sign with other places because of parking issues and now regret it here. There are less uncovered parking than covered so if you got an uncovered pass good luck. I've had to go back to friends houses because of no parking. I should be able to find parking and not have to call in to reserve a spot every night for a place I live and pay rent and have a parking pass for. read more
