I'm suspicious of large dealerships, perhaps unfairly, but my experiences with Mill Lane have proven my suspicion wrong.
I've not bought new there but we have taken several vehicles for diagnosis and repairs. The star of the show for me is the service manager who actually listens to you, writes down what you say, explains the nature of the repairs needed (in simple or complex terms) and explains why they are needed.
It appears the business is doing well as they've now opened a proper Fiat sales centre (presumably capitalising on the closure of the rather poor Cleveland cars), the showroom is immaculate, there's a nice area to sit whilst you wait and free, proper coffee rather than wet brown stuff that's too hot to drink. read more
