Great value for the money. I have lived here a few years now and have enjoyed it. The area is…read morequiet, safe and located close to the mall, not to mention most of the major highways. There have been no crime(s) here that I am aware of since moving in. The management is quick to respond to reported issues and are always friendly. My neighbors have been quiet and people generally keep to themselves. No crazy drama going on outside either. The buildings are well maintained. They plow snow, cut the grass...etc etc...If you have a problem in the apartment, let them know and they will send someone out the next business day. (they have people available for emergencies of course..) It isn't the most fancy place you can find, but I think they are decent enough. They have pay laundry rooms in each building, a bit of room for storage in the basement areas. (Figure about another 20 dollars per month for this..) Heat / hot water is included in the price of rent, this is a good value. You pay for electric. (60-100 a month in my experience...) Traffic in and around the area isn't too bad, but you should learn some back roads during the Christmas time! Mall traffic is crazy on 202. Well worth checking out!

I've been living here for 5 years in a row now so I guess I'm qualified for some comments. I've…read morebeen to some of my friends' rental places in the area and none of them is both as good and affordable as Belmont Village. It's located in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood, and it feels rather safe as well. Maintenance is usually quick and easy - all I need to do is to write an email about the issue and couple of days later I come home to find the issue resolved. It's got secured building entrance, but package delivery is right to my door. Staffs are really nice although I don't really find the need to talk to them much. There are more than enough parking spots for both the tenants and guests. The lovely little pool could be an addition, if I loved water (and I don't). Another perk is free heating, not sure if that's standard in the area but there's big savings during Pennsylvania winters. As for downsides, there really isn't anything major to complain about, considering the price. Shared laundry, spotty wireless signal (I'm AT&T), monopoly of Xfinity internet, plain design and decoration, and that's about it. The storage might be a bit tight but for a guy it has been quite enough. So overall, it's totally worth the price. And they allow cats!

I have been complaining about the noise. Nothing has been done. This started in September/ October. She over talked me and gave me professional jargan they teach at all corporate enterprises. Not a safe place to live, or clean. They had the nerve to raise the rent in a building with roaches and mice. Don't respond to emails. Said there's only two maintenance men. Then told me hey manager left for the day or went to lunch. Seems like with it being short staffed. You wouldn't be leaving work early on a Monday if you have over 5 hundred apartments and hardly any staff. When I first moved here it was fine. But they don't care about the safety of the residents or living in a peaceful environment. They don't fix things properly or in a timely manner. Then when do the bare minimum. They say we'll we got you weekly pest control. I had to tell them I shouldn't have to call or message every week for pest control. When you know there's mice and roaches. Still have yet to explain why my rent is 1500... A month went to $1900. Never a break down or documentation on how these fees were accrued or adjudicate.

Then I had to deal with a homeless person living outside our door and had to call the cops for times until he wad deterred enough to stop coming back. We had no locks on the backdoors but none on the front. We called and complained about no locks on the front doors during the winter and said they'd put locks on in July of 2023. Since then they've removed the locks on the back doors so the whole building can be accessed. Plumbing is always an issue we constantly had our toilet, tub, and kitchen sink all clogged at the same time which lead to other peoples fecal matter clogging our tub. Maintenance guys were always nice but we never got an apology from the leasing office. Constant roaches in the lobby, inconsistent updates about parking lot maintenance which led to tenants having their cars towed, this place felt the opposite of home and I will happily be leaving. My freaking garbage disposal keeps breaking, and the faucet in the shower is broken. Literally water comes out of the shower head and bottom faucet at the same time although you turn it on for the shower head to spray water. There's hardly anywhere to park. There is only one little children's park but two dog parks???? Staff sucks. They add a bunch of charges onto your account all the time so you constantly have to fight to get them off. They make you pay for shitty amenities. Laundry room SUCKS in all caps. My ceiling keeps leaking. There's a huge lump in my carpet (I'm not sure what it is but it prevents me from opening my door all the way). It's extremely hard to contact the corporate office. They want your money but don't want to assist with any issues you're having. If your neighbor is using a whole bunch of water, guess what? You're gonna pay for it too. People drag race in front of the buildings too at night when you're trying to sleep... This place is too expensive for all of the bs that comes along with it. I feel as though these two bed room apartments should be an easy $1,300 and even that's pushing it because they aren't worth s*it. Yet we are still getting charged $1,700-$1,900 for these disgusting units. Live here at your own risk.

I have lived here over 3 years now I like my neighbors, the gym and my apartment setup. I am exacerbated with Morgan Properties locked me out of my rent portal with no policy support -- forcing bank check payments traveling I travel most of the time and depend on making online payments. They have took me to court almost monthly for 2.5 years, charging $180+ fees each time on top of the late fees due to them unlawfully and illegally locked out of the online portal preventing me of making payments. I've paid over $13,000 in fees while: Elevators broke constantly (I've been stuck inside!),Call box never worked (zero building security),Mice in my unit and toilet running for weeks increasing my sewer bill. Now they've forced me into a $70 internet plan from my $25 a month plan and service is worst. Moreover, I can not receive any refund for lack of service due to bulk services. This is systemic, not personal.

A pound me moving in the apartment it still needed additional work and I really wasn't all that happy. The service manager at the time was absolutely amazing (Marquis) he came for one thing and I was telling him about the other problems and in one day he fixed everything and even returned the next day to follow up. Little did I know that some minor maintenance would be the least of my worries. I had been living in the apartment short of two or three months, when the real problem came. After a long day of work I'm watching a movie and my boyfriend see's a mouse run across the room. I'm immediately upset and frightened at this point. I Have Never Been More Scared In My Life!!!! So, first thing the next morning I call the front office and they just acted like they were in disbelief and they would take care of the problem. Well......I can whole heartedly say it's been months and I'm still having the same problem. I have spoken with the office manager Megan and Regional Manager Karen at Scully company. They have since admitted to the older buildings as being infested with mice due to the construction around the apartments. Plus further inspection of the apartment, they have hidden holes where the pipes run for the heating, under the bathroom sink, behind the stove, etc. So it's like the mice can just go from apartment to apartment (because you can hear them all in the walls and kitchen area). I have spoken with several other tenants in the buildings and they have seen mice in their apartments. When I ask for a resolution they offered me to move on a sister property (which seemed like the simplest resolution but also was a hassle, seeing as they said everything would transfer over but when I called their property manager she said you have to go through the whole process of applying over again). So not only do I have to look for another place, I have to go through the process again, and as a healthcare worker find time to afford to move all my items somehow into another place. I'm very disgusted with management and Scully at how they are handling the situation. Mind you I haven't heard from the office in two months now, No follow up, No checking in, No Nothing!!! I want to say that the maintenance men have been absolutely AMAZING!! They have tried to make me feel as comfortable as someone in this situation can feel and they come out right away everytime I call. Christina in Dekalb office has tried to be as helpful as possible. But it's just not enough NO ONE should have to live like this. So this is just a FAIR WARNING to future residents you have been advise to LOOK else where!!!!!

But when I have lived in for 6 months, I gradually found out lots of issue in this apartment. 1. It's very close to the train rail so you will hear the train whistle very loud and clear every night. 2. There is a washer and dryer in unit but it works extremely noisy and loud. The washer and dryer are combined together, and it's size is too small, I couldn't wash too much cloth at one time. 3. The gym room downstair is small, only few basic equipments are there, the gym room even don't have hand sanitizer or any wiping there, no water, no paper towels. 4. The Swimming pool is not for swim, it's for bath, the highest point is only 3 1/2 inches, so it's not for sporting purpose, which is disappointing. However, the good thing here is, 1. Very secure here. Everyone needs a key to get in the apartment building, even from parking lot. 2. Close to shopping mall and all supermarket. Btw, there is two months rent penalty if you end the contract in advance. In conclusion, I'll give 3 stars to Nexus. But base on train whistle and washer and dryer, I won't recommend to others.
