I absolutely love, Miss Amy & Miss Brittany. Both of my kids have gone to KinderCare since three months of age. One has already aged out one is now in the threes. I highly recommend it read more

I. Hate. Daycares. Hate them. They stink. They smell. The staff comes and goes. They are gross. I love this one. Miss Amelia is AMAZING with my child. She adores kids and it shows. And the assistants, whenever I drop Henry off, someone is always there to swoop him up and love on him. They do daily reports, they respond to my messages, they put up with me forgetting the door code. I have been around the block with child care, 5 total daycares. I promise that this one is a good one! They even get my son to eat! read more

I love this place and better yet, my kids love this place. The staff is so nice and their convenient hours are perfect. My kids school bus picked them up and drops them off at the front door. If your looking for a great friendly secure place to place your kids this is the place. read more

Mill Creek KinderCare - My kids in after school care at Kindercare Mill Creek. - Child Care & Day Care Near Me - Mill Creek, Washington

See all

Our child attended KinderCare here for almost two years. When he first started there we really enjoyed it. His teachers had been there for a while and had a great rapport with him. It didn't take long before the turnover started. Once he moved into the toddler class, it was noticeable that the rooms are disorganized, chaotic, and ill prepared. My wife would occasionally have to stay in the room in the morning because there wasn't enough teacher coverage for the required ratio. I won't get too petty, but to summarize some of the smaller details, it was dirty under the furniture and equipment, the teachers didn't often know how his day went because they were cycled through the room, and his daily report often consisted of a book he read or a song his sang...a far cry of an actual daily report. Recently, the turnover has gotten to be more significant. We tried to stick with it, but some of the teachers seemed to be overworked and tired. Diapers wouldn't get changed, papers wouldn't get filled out, etc. However, the straw that broke the camels back was when we were informed that our son, and a female classmate of his were found by another parent in the parking lot (they're two years old). On top of that, they hid all of this from us. We found out about a week after the fact. The district manager and the director both seemed to know about it, and punished the kind soul that told us. I understand missed communication, but this is disrespectful and dangerous. If they were willing to hide this from the parents and punish the good people, it makes you wonder if there are other things they've hidden. I can't stress it enough that I would be extremely cautious about sending your kids here. read more

Do not send your child here!! our not even two year son was found in the parking lot unattended and the school tried to hide it from us. Once we finally found out- We reported to the state and it basically swept under the rug with an "I'm sorry this happened". There are too many very concerning safety complaints to trust then with your child's safety. This location should have the child care license revoked. read more

If I could give no stars at all...I would. I am not even sure where to begin with this review because I am so distraught over what has happened. I am a teacher in this center and am genuinely shocked and disappointed over how this has been handled. Last week there was a hole cut in our fence on our toddler playground overnight. When our toddler classes went to the playground the next day two of our students escaped through the hole and made their way into the parking lot only to be found by another parent. I can assure you that every single teacher in that building would have done the right thing and been very up front with the parents about what had happened. However, when the teachers reported to management what had happened, our Center Director explicitly told the teachers not to say anything to the parents at pick up that day. It makes me sick to my stomach to think that our teachers had to sleep at night with that on their conscience for a week! Yesterday one of our teachers called the mother of one of the children that had escaped and told her everything that had happened a week prior. This teacher didn't do it because it was her job...she did it because it was the moral and ethical thing to do! Those parents and other parents in that class deserve and have every right to know what happened. When our management found out that the employee had called a parent and told them about what had happened, they asked the teacher to leave on the spot. This employee should have been praised for being honest and having the integrity to tell the parent what had happened; instead management is yet again trying to sweep this under the rug. I am so unbelievably sorry for the families that were affected by this and for the other families that now have to worry about their children while they are in our center. Please know that our teachers care deeply about each and every child in that center and that this incident is a reflection of our management and their choices. All of this could have been avoided had they chosen to just be honest and up front with both the parents and the staff. read more

My son started at this facility as an infant and I had no reason to complain. Around the time he started in the toddler class, this place had a new director and she is amazing! Her, and all of the staff, truly care about the children. They always take time to talk to the parents about any concerns, or if it's just to chat about what your kid did that day. They have really stepped up with extra health and safety standards as well. This place takes away all my anxiety of being a working mom and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for childcare. read more

Our family has been coming here for about a year now and love it. I was very nervous about doing daycare but I couldn't be happier with the care we are getting. Our son is well cared for and loved by the teachers and staff. I love that they go outside daily and are learning new things each day because my son comes home and tells us new things everyday. I would highly recommend anyone coming here if you are looking for a great daycare! read more

My daughter went to a different kindercare from when she was 3 months old for 1.5 years. I've been a huge kindercare fan. So when we moved to this area, I signed up my daughter in millcreak kindercare. Though few of the toodler teachers were very kind ( ms Megan and Ms Cally) , my daughter was there for 3 weeks and I decided to move her. In those 3 weeks, 5 times I noticed that in the toddlers classroom teacher child ratio was not according to WA state law of 1:7. Once I saw 10 kids with 1 teacher. When I reported to the director, she said the other teacher was on his/ her way. And finally on week 3 my daughter got scratched by another kid on both her cheeks, about quarter inches each. The incident report said, she was not sharing her toy so the other kid scratched her. Next day i wanted to talk to the director. I stood for 15 mins while other staffs went looking for her. Then i found her inthe kindergarten class, substituting for some other teach (totally understandable). I was worried about the attitude of the director towards that incident. And above all, the teacher's name that was written in the incident report was surprised to see the scar next day, because she did not know about the incident. This place is lack of staff and did not match with my past kindercare experience. read more

This place is gross. The floors are dirty when you walk in. The toddler classroom was bland and had no color. The "teachers" were just standing there looking at the kids. My year old has only been there 3 times and he is already sick with an upper respiratory infection. Im pulling him asap. For being in mill creek you lost a lot of respect. Im telling everyone I know to pull there kids out!! Toys are way out dated and rarely cleaned. Kids put toys in mouth and you don't clean them daily eww f ing gross!!!!!!!! This place is nasty and gross. Ohhh hell no!!!! read more

We enrolled our daughter in this KinderCare location when she was 4 months old. We were immediately impressed by the setup of the infant room, as well as the warmth and enthusiasm of both infant teachers and the center director. My daughter absolutely flourished in this environment, and I greatly appreciate the time that her teachers made for me to answer questions or share stories/pictures about my daughter's day. As parents who must work outside of the home, it makes our lives much easier knowing that we can trust that our daughter is learning and growing in such a supportive, loving environment. When it came time to make the switch to an older classroom, I appreciate that the teachers started transitioning my daughter in small increments a month before she turned 1 so that she could get used to the new routines and rhythms of the toddler classroom. Though parts of the transition have been difficult for our daughter to adjust to (a much larger student/teacher ratio than in the infant room, "new" teachers, and dropping to one daytime nap), I feel like everyone has worked hard to make sure that we're all on the same communication page. I would definitely recommend this location to other parents, and will be sending any siblings that we may have down the road to this center. Mill Creek KinderCare is simply the best! read more

My daughter has been going here for quite some time now. Although there has been a few incidents with other kids, the center has been good about communicating them and following through. My daughter knows the names of all of the teachers and kids and will actually get up in the morning right away if I tell her she's going to daycare (she loves it). Most notably, she's acquired Spanish and sign language. Definitely recommend. read more

This is not a high standard school, but not bad in comparison with many others in the neighborhood (we've experienced ourselves). I don't know about Toddler and younger classes, but I like my child's classmates, they are sweet, caring, and independent. I like the way they eagerly introduced the classroom for me when I was there the first time. I don't think that I need something else from my sons's friends. The teachers there are also nice and caring, they help him gain a lot of confidence, unfortunately teacher Taylor has left. In general, I'd like to give them 4 stars, one missing coz of the outdoor time and facilities: the outdoor time is not as much as I want (sometimes they skip it if kids are coughing-understandable- or the weather is not supportive-not a big deal to me), the facilities are not so polished, but to be honest they don't charge a high tuition as other well equipped schools. read more
