I'm puzzled that any insurance would have some hidden charge clause that an appt lasting longer than 40 min would result in a denial of payment. I called and left a message that this office confirmed my Coverage (otherwise why would I make the appt to begin with) so why would I owe? And my insurance said they don't have a deductible and secondly, they don't have a time clause of any appts. I received a call back and the guy apologized and said, "oh, that wasn't supposed to be on your statement"...... Long story short, they don't accept my insurance...but didn't know at the time that they didnt??? And had I gone 2 times a week as suggested....I wouldve been looking at an almost 600.00 bill....

I panic and told a friend of mine because I do not want to start insulin injection. I fear of using insulin because it is troublesome, expensive, and hard to get off once you start. My friend told me to talk to Dr. Diana Hester, a Chinese acupuncture and medicine doctor I had met several years ago, when I had come down with a terrible flu. I remember Dr. Hester first told me to go to the emergency room right away back then because she worried I may have Pneumonia and needed to be hospitalized right away. After visiting the ER, I was ok to go home because I did not come down with Pneumonia. However, I was feeling very ill with severe coughing, headache, fever, and fatigued. I went for a walk in for a 30min massage and the guy was super rough and started pounding all over my back and lower body as well as pushing directly on my spine almost doing joint mobs which they are not licensed to do, I'm a PTA who has been trained on this stuff and they could really injure someone. While I did ask for a full body massage, touching my butt without asking is super inappropriate. The other thing is there is no intake form. All legit massage places need to know your health history and any injuries or surgeries. While this is "cheap" it's not worth it for potential further injury.
