Started many years ago with me bringing a friend who had MS, I then started going there as well over the years To get some adjustments with our insurance coverages and after what took place today I am absolutely terrified and confused... I arrived early for my 6pm appointment with Dr Ball, I saw a new person at the desk, she was polite at first, i offered to give her my new debit card to keep on file.So I could pay my forty dollar coPay on monday or wednesday?Which is my payday as we live paycheck to paycheck right now with the high cost of living in washington state, usually the people at the desk are lenient about it.And it's not a problem, and we don't carry a balance... She was very argumentative, picked up the phone and started reporting it to a manager as if ive done something wrong . I was confused about her attitude, and I let her know that it's usually not a problem If i've ever asked and it's only a couple of days, we have very expensive insurance That covers everything.And she kept arguing... being disrespectful, I asked her to stop with her causing me stress as I was there for a painful issue, she kept lecturing, gas liteing, baiting me, I finally said please stop!! I went to room 4 , the door was open at that point, and I could hear her talking really loud in the front office about me.Saying untrue statements to someone on the phone... She saw me in hallway , I asked her to stop talking about me like that, inappropriate..she tried to force me to take her phone , i said not appropriate, and I went inside the room closed the door waiting for the dr ball to come in for my appointment. Suddenly the door burst open, Dr Ball had a look of anger on his face that I've never seen before he came rushing towards me, yelling , what did you do to her!! GET OUT !! I was shaking, I was not all the way dressed, n afraid of dr ball at that point, I entered the hallway rushing toward the door confused, Two more people started yelling at me.Get out.Get out, never come back here, get out.Get out. I was shaking , in shock, The front desk person, had some type of a break down, acting as though she was attacked, when I was in another room, not near her at all. Last year Jennifer refused my cash coPay at one of my appointments, she then labeled me as not paying coPays, she said it in front of others at front lobby, I had a zero balance at that point.But she still refused my cash payment for the co.Pay that day. The way Dr. Jang evaluates my body and pain is truly unbelievable. He carefully goes over each part of the body--bones, muscles, and areas of tension--to find the root cause of the pain. I asked about it because it felt different from other chiropractic clinics, where they usually just do adjustments (which are still good). Dr. Jang uses a special technique called ART and treats my pain very gently. He explained that the muscles and pain points need to be properly evaluated first before doing any strong adjustments, which made a lot of sense to me. After several treatments, I felt a huge difference in my neck, shoulders, and back--as if the pain was being healed from the core. It's a very gentle but precise approach for deep muscle pain. I can tell that he really monitors my pain points and provides treatment based on my condition and progress, which makes the treatments even more effective. And the massage therapy afterward is truly amazing. I've dealt with pain from past car accidents, so I know how important it is to find good care--that's why I appreciate Eden Clinic so much. Fun fact: they have really advanced X-ray equipment and tools. Dr. Jang even discovered that my right leg is slightly shorter than my left, which may have caused me to lean a bit when standing. This made so much sense because I've always had pain in my right foot when walking or running for a long time. This has helped me a lot, and now I'm planning to use insoles in my shoes--no more pain! No torn muscle as initially diagnosed by my family doctor. However, it got worse as I continued doing my normal activities. 3 months later I started seeing Dr. Jang at Eden Clinic. After 2 months and 13 visits, I finally felt 90% better and I would be able to resume my activities (though slowly). I'm puzzled that any insurance would have some hidden charge clause that an appt lasting longer than 40 min would result in a denial of payment. I called and left a message that this office confirmed my Coverage (otherwise why would I make the appt to begin with) so why would I owe? And my insurance said they don't have a deductible and secondly, they don't have a time clause of any appts. I received a call back and the guy apologized and said, "oh, that wasn't supposed to be on your statement"...... My second visit was a bit unexpected, which is the main reason I'm giving four stars instead of five. There was a communication gap about what to expect during the session. I started with a massage bed, followed by a few adjustments--some of which were temporarily painful but necessary for alignment and long-term relief. Then, I was introduced to specialized equipment using electric stimulation, infrared, and percussion therapy. If you're unfamiliar with these methods, it might seem unusual at first, but the results speak for themselves. After the session, my pain was significantly reduced, and now, several days later, I have enough mobility to do physical therapy exercises and continue healing. That said, chiropractic care isn't a cure-all. Depending on what ails you, you may need to do additional work--like stretching, strengthening exercises, or other therapies--to fully recover. Dr. Jung can provide an excellent foundation for healing, but long-term results require ongoing effort. Overall, I'd recommend Dr. Jung for his expertise and effective treatments, though a bit more communication about the process would make the experience even better.
