In Florida, a doctor refusing a necessary specialist referral due to personal reasons (like looking bad) could be considered medical negligence or malpractice if it causes harm, as they have a duty to provide appropriate care, it can siqnificantly hinder a patients ability to achieve a sustainable, healthy life by delaying diagnosis, worsening conditions, increasing costs, and causing distress; ethically, doctors are expected to provide referrals or transition you to a more appropriate provider, and withholding information is generally unethical.

I don't feel like a dollar sign to her, she makes me feel welcomed and I believe she truly cares.
