Military Outlet has been family owned since 1983.We have been providing the military, law enforcement and outdoor enthusiast and the items they need and use on a daily basis. Military Outlet is proud to offer the same high quality, innovative products to you whether you use them for fun or because your life depends on them. We have an alteration department to sew on name tapes, name tapes of all kinds, limited alterations and Embroidery. We can provide you with a new set of dog tags while you shop! We are fully equipped to custom make you a set or set them to the Military standards. We also sell New and Used Military Surplus, Military TA50, Self-Defense Supplies, law enforcement, Novelty Items and So Much MORE!
History
Established in 1983.
The store opened its doors in 1983 as "The Outlet", in the downtown area selling mostly dollar store items. The store began adding military items in small doses. Before long, half of the store was military! It was like being in two stores at once. In the 90's the store was bought by the store owners' son. Over the next decade the store became more so dedicated to military gear & clothing, adding a sewing department for convince. During that time the owner decided that it was time for a change, and the store was renamed "Military Outlet". In August of 2013, the store had a horrific fire damaging the entire building. Thankfully, the store owner had a warehouse with old fixtures, a few sewing machines, and much of the surplus gear that is necessary for current day military service members! Within a few days of the fire the store was operational at its most recent location 1805 North Monroe Street. In April of 2023, we had the opportunity to move back downtown! Now at 722 N Washington St

Since October 2011, Military Outlet has been a big part of my life—and I am proud to call Junction City home.
We enjoy finding the gear you need and get the service to make it their yours! From military and outdoor essentials to everyday gear like knives and flashlights, outerwear, boots and more!

We’re very passionate about our sewing department. Repairs, alterations, patches, custom work, and modifications—the possibilities are extensive. Our team enjoys helping customers make good gear work exactly the way they need it to.
