Let's say when I heard there was an actual real place in Florence that served bubble teas, I couldn't believe it. Well, they do. Not only, they also have coffees, teas and chinese-japanese food that I haven't tried yet. For the lovers, 'cause this you hate or love, no shades of grey, the milk bubble tea, hot for the season, with tapioca squishy balls, is great! Not steamy, large size and quite the amount of tapioca. Choices are the classic, coffee, strawberry, chai and even whiskey (and some more). I can say finally a piece of true Oriental trash food has arrived, and I'm very happy about it! read more

Bubble tea... in Florence, shut the frack up! I have been waiting for this day and alas I will have to wait some more. Don't be fooled by the fact that I've gone back twice now to suggest the bubble tea is actually good. It is not. Okay, since my base of comparison is the delicious coconut pineapple drink with perfect chewy bubbles from New Dong Khanh in Boston Chinatown, this was obviously going to be a disappointment. Cook the bubbles for less time Mili, they should still be firm! The one flavor that seemed semi-bearable was the coffee version, tasted like a sweet coffee with too mushy bubbles at the bottom. The other two flavors we tried were watered-down milk drinks that we couldn't finish. On to the good stuff, although I would not recommend this place for their bubble tea, I would recommend them for their food. We had lunch with various dumplings, fried shrimp, a beef ramen dish and steamed red bean buns. It was fast to come out and fast to go in, if you know what I mean. The price was reasonable, we spent around 12€ each for bubble tea and food. Go for the food if you want some dumplings, but please avoid the bubble tea! read more

Comfort food. Came here from the states after seeing their menu for the Bubble tea and sat down to grab some food too. Everything tastes as I expected and in typical Asian American style: big portions, decent price, decent taste. Decent seating inside, with AC. They provide good steady wifi. I ordered the taro bubble milk tea, it came warm in a glass jar with a lot of tapioca balls. Pretty good. read more

It was okay, there's seating inside with board games n decent wifi. Ordered: Omurice & boba milk tea Omurice: just like any other place that makes it,it's avg, just add hot sauce to make it better Boba milk tea: boba was too soft, shouldn't cook it for that long. The milk tea was decent, Gud enuf to get rid of the crave. Considering it's all Italian food here;carbs 4 days. I would come here again to probably try something else if I'm craving Chinese food n I want some wifi lol read more

I was under the impression that classic bubble tea would be the perfect way to see if this place could make boba. I wasn't very hopeful because it IS boba in Italy, but I gave Mili Coffee Bar the benefit of the doubt. Quickly rescinded this benefit of the doubt when what I was met with was a liquid that could barely be considered milk tea. Regardless of what time of day it is, it makes no sense for milk tea to taste like it had been watered down to the point where it just tastes like water. It did not help that the color of the drink also wasn't very appealing to the eye. (Think of a greyish brownish murky color.) I ordered the spicy chicken feet since I was already there, hoping to eat it with rice back at my apartment. I've had better but I was surprised that it was pretty good. The chicken feet were sizably portioned, perfect to eat with rice (since it'll be awhile until I can return to Orange County) and the brutal spices reminded me a little of home. I'd probably get this again, but I have a feeling there's another place that can make it better (and make a better bubble tea too). read more

While in Florence I was so excited to find a bubble tea place. Unfortunately, I ended up wasting 4€ on something that was not even a resemblance of a bubble tea, at least not something that I'm familiar with. What I got was an extremely watered down, no ice, warm cup of gray stuff that was definitely not good bubble tea. It was absolutely terrible. I'm giving this place two stars just because I'm really not sure if this is how it's served over here but I would definitely not return. read more

Was craving bubble tea so I stopped by this place. The shopkeeper was really nice, but the drink was sub-par. She recommended the cereal bubble tea, which was like a frosted flakes-themed drink. Sounded promising, but when I got it, it tasted like water and the boba was hard. I asked if it was supposed to taste watered-down and the shopkeeper said yes.(what?) Had to go elsewhere to satisfy my craving. read more

We were delighted to find delicious Asian food in the heart of Florence after days of pasta. The bibimbop with Italian flair, dumplings, seaweed and egg soup, and beef udon were all excellent. The friendly staff served the food lightning quick, and the prices can't be beat. If you need a break from local tourist fare, drop by Mili for a quick, delicious Asian food fix. read more

I'm from the United States (Texas). Plenty of sit down and delivery Chinese foods. I've traveled all over China. I am Chinese. I own a Chinese restaurant. I can honestly say this was the absolute worst Chinese food I've ever had by far. Been in Europe for awhile and needed an Asian fix. It was conveniently located very close to my hotel, so I decided to give it a try. Disgusting. Ordered 5 different entrees and took one bite out of each. Flavors were off and not anywhere close to what it should be. Most of the food had a sour taste and no, I didn't order any sour type foods. These guys are a disgrace. Maybe you can fool some foreigners that don't know any better. Take some pride in what you do. Don't waste your time or money. Cup o Noodles is 5 stars compared to these guys. read more

After a days of Italian meals, we were craving for spicy Asian food. This place was perfect! Lot of choices for vegetarians. Chef made an extra effort to make our food spacier than usual. We loved hot and sour soup. Prices are very reasonable. The staff was friendly and spoke good English. Will go there again next time we are in Florence. read more
