After seeing Dr. Horak for about a week, my pain started to drastically subside. Knowing that lasting change takes time (since it takes a lot of time for the condition to cause pain of this severity), I continued for a few more weeks. After about my third week, I had no pain while driving, walking, bending over, or even performing SQUAT OR DEADLIFT! I now see Dr. Horak on a consistent basis to keep myself healthy and in-line as a maintenance treatment so that I will always feel my best! Part 2: I am currently a college graduate on my way to pursue a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. I have shadowed MANY chiropractic doctors, and after receiving adjustments from Dr. Horak, I decided to study under him for some time. Never in all of my shadowing hours (I've done a lot of them) have I met a chiropractor so compassionate towards his patients, so committed to seeing lasting change in his adjustments, and so passionate about what he does every single day. Throughout our time together, we consistently talked about how to engage in an empathetic way with all who walk through the door, how to apply knowledge learned in school and through experience to diagnose and treat every unique patient, and how to make treatment accessible to all who need it. If you are leery about seeing a chiropractor, I can assure you, it is because you're not seeing DR. HORAK! He is a truly amazing man, and an OUTSTANDING chiropractor.

I have had just two adjustments by her and the pins and needles feeling that I have had in my left foot for years is gone! I have also noticed a significant decrease in the neck pain and headaches. I have full range of motion in my neck without pain. I cannot remember how long it has been since that happened. I am new to chiropractic care. Dr. Erica is excellent in finding out my goals and always fully explains what she is doing and why. I think her prices are also very reasonable and she accepts ALL insurance. The best part is that she comes to you! She will come to your home, office, wherever it is convenient for you. I live in Omaha and she still comes to my home even though she is based in Lincoln. I don't know that it is possible to have a better chiropractic experience. Dr. Erica is skilled, compassionate and very thorough PLUS reasonably priced and she comes to you. Thank you D. Erica!

My employer had changed our insurance provider so after I went for my yearly physical, I received an out of network bill. My yearly physicals have always been 100 percent covered, so this was unexpected. I was very disappointed that no one in the office informed me that my new insurance would now be out of network when I made my appointment or when I checked in. If I would have known, I would have chosen a different providers office. I also work in healthcare and our office ALWAYS checks patient insurance at the time the appointment is made so there are no surprises. The office manager at Family Health and Wellness was not willing to work with me on my charge unless I was a cash patient at the time of check in and I am told I must pay the full amount. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this office again! Poor patient customer service.

I was dealing with an immense amount of pain in my neck, my back & my foot was going numb…read moreoccasionally. I could hardly do anything. I couldn't do my dishes or cook without causing extreme discomfort. After going to the ER, numerous medical & specialist visits, someone suggested going to a chiropractor. I did my research, found ChiroLouie, called and got in the same day. My condition was so bad when I first came in, I cried at home most days and was losing hope. ChiroLouie listened, understood and got to work. When I stood up after my very first session, I could hardly believe what just happened. Immediate relief. Of course I still had some pain but I went from like a 10 to a 4. It was incredible. After no help from so many medical visits for months, all I needed was ChiroLouie. I was ignored, Ortho told me I had lung cancer bc of back pain, was told I would need neck surgery, was given carpal tunnel surgery and was even told it was in my head. Absolutely no one was helping & all I could do was lay there day after day in intense pain. To sum it up, sitting at a computer working for years, with possible bad ergonomics, can cause some issues. I'm able to do so much more now. I am happier, feel better overall & it's all thanks to ChiroLouie! I appreciate him so much. He listened, was understanding, patient and provided helpful information. I got my life back because of him! Thank you!

This chiropractor did well in fixing me as well as regular maintenance for my job is very physical and laborious. However, after so many years the same old treatment he had been using just wasn't working like it used to. So I asked him to reevaluate me that maybe a change in treatment was necessary. He would not. So on a recommendation I went to see Dr. Jeremy Peterson. He evaluated me, listened to me and came up with a treatment plan that had me feeling great in no time! The office is very friendly and helpful and I can call the same day I need to be seen.
