As a former administrator at the Fort Apache location. I would like to say a few things. I think the company has the best curriculum I've seen in my 23 , years in Early Childhood. They focus on teaching every child in all age groups. And add Spanish and sign language which makes all children not only feel included. But also makes it exciting and new ways to learn. My child attended here for about 4 months. Within the last month I've caught them lying about them feeding her. I addressed my concerns and it continued to happen. They constantly have new employees. The communication there is awful. But the lying about the bottles is absolutely not okay. I pulled her today. I suggest finding somewhere else for your children if you want peace of mind. read more

Milestone is not a daycare! Milestone is the second home for our son. Aster and Joyce are the main ladies who take care of our boy and we could not be any more happy with them. They treat him like their own family member. When our boy smiles from ear to ear,(when he sees them)it just shows how much love, attention, and education he gets from the Milestone ladies.... All of them have our complete trust and respect... Tara, Iris,Erika,Raj are a few of the other ladies who watch over him ....Such a lovely loving group of ladies. The facility is clean and very spacious. The two ladies who are in charge (Vanessa and Sarah) are just a joy. Always friendly and ready to help. I see both not just do the clerical things, but also aid in watching the children. Unlike the other places we considered, they have an open door policy.This means we can drop off our boy and time and pick him up anytime.This was a big sell on my part because I like to spend time with my son in the morning and never feel rushed when dropping him off. Our daughter Alice attends Milestone off of Fort Apache and we absolutely love how she is treated there by all the staff! Sara is an absolute delight to us and always greats Alice when she arrives in the morning and you can tell she really cares about our daughter. I would like to start with the positives, and then our reality. First off, the reviews made us comfortable with leaving our 14 month old granddaughter in the care of Milestone Academy. After meeting with Vanessia and her assuring us about all their accredidation and about how they are required to report abuse and talking about all of their teacher's education and experi-ence. After much debate, we, our son and his girlfriend all felt comfortable leaving her in their care. Our granddaughter, for the first 14 months of her life has only been taken care of by family and has been fairly spoiled with time, love and attention. There was no illusion that she would get that same attention while being left with strangers, but we did feel comfortable that she would be safe and learn to socialize with other children outside of family. Her general demeanor is that she is a very happy baby, always loving and smiling. Again, she is very spoiled with love an attention from family. The first few days she was sad and did not want to be dropped off and we all kind of assumed that it was just an adjustment period. She would cry and reach her arms out to be picked up. For perspective, she only spent 5 days in Milestone. On one hand, learning about how they are and how they actually treat the children, I am thankful to find out that they hire teachers that are comfortable man-handling small children and grabbing them by one arm and pulling them by their feet when they try to crawl away before anything traumatic happened. Unfortunately, my granddaughter can not articulate how she felt, but the video looks like she was trying to flee the "caregiver" that hurt her. Needless to say that, she will not be going back. We had the police come out and make a report. They did not determine that there was "actual criminal abuse" which is disappointing. Needless to say that we feel mislead by Vanessia about their "high standards in hiring and training and self reporting abuse" Obviously we are not bringing her back and would like anyone considering bringing their child here to be very cautious and not just blindly believe their read more

We absolutely LOVE Milestone Academy! Miss Sarah is always so sweet and professional every time we come in, and Miss Mandy is so calm with our almost 20 month old daughter. We were shocked when our daughter came home knowing almost all *haha* of her ABC's and could count to ten after only a few short weeks with Miss Mandy. All of the staff and teachers are so kind and professional, and they always know my daughter by name when we get there. We cannot speak highly enough of the staff, the curriculum, and just how calm our daughter seems with the transition of care from grandma's house to Milestone Academy. I am extremely disturbed and angry with the way my daughter was treated at this daycare. Today 9/22/2025, when i logged in to see what my daughter was doing on the "watch me grow" camera, I witnessed teachers handling her in an aggressive and unacceptable manner. One teacher forcibly pulling her by one arm and aggressively sitting her down. Also pulled at her foot and dragged her to keep her in a corner when my daughter tried to crawl away, restraining my daughter in her lap and not letting her play. 10 minutes later as they were walking into the playground, another teacher purposely pushed her through the gate where my learning how to walk 1 year old fell forward. Not once did she check on her or try to help her get up. First thing I did when I walked in there was ask the front lady vennessia if they had a copy of the recordings throughout the day and she said no that the videos were live streamed only, i explained the situation and then quickly she pulled up the cameras and saw the videos of what happened. After she saw the video she said "this is not okay" walked to the back and never came back out to assess the situation. Metro was called. But of course because my daughter was not bruised or had any signs of abuse, they said it was not criminal. This is the reason why there is so much abuse in these child care centers because it's never taken serious until it's too late. Aggression towards a 1 year old is abuse. Vennessia nor Sara said nothing to us after seeing the video and also won't send me a copy of the recording as i asked them to, she said now i have to go through corporate. This type of treatment is not only inappropriate but also unsafe for young children who deserve patience, care, and understanding. No child should EVER be handled roughly or excluded in this way. As a parent, it is heartbreaking to know my child was treated this way, when vennessia made it seem like the perfect place for my child to and I would not recommend this daycare to anyone who values the safety, dignity, and well-being of their child. read more

My child was only here for one week - that's how horrible my experience here was. I found out the Friday that ended up being my child's last day that the teachers lied on the app about when he was being fed his bottles. The explanations they tried to give were neither consistent nor realistic. It's hard enough entrusting a center with your child but when you find out that the only method of checking up on your child is not truthful, that's gonna be a hard pass for me. I'll also add that in the week I was there, the inside door was never locked and half the time, there was no one in the front desk area. God forbid a child wanders out. Even the pictures they upload into the app show the utter lack of care by the teachers here. I'm sad that my child had to suffer an entire week at this poor excuse for a childcare facility. Ms. Venessia is a good talker, I'll tell you that. We were definitely wooed by her pitch but it's all a smokescreen for the lack of training, lack of management, and lack of care at this facility. read more

Milestone Academy was truly the best choice for my daughter. She attended the pre-school program for just shy of one school year. We received pictures of her doing her work and summaries of what she was learning. Ms. Me took her from barely being able to write her own name to being able to write sight words from memory! So to start off we been having issues with billing for a year now and they took 1200 from us and they keep saying "well have billing reach out and refund you" and NOTHING we reached out multiple times and it's terrible. This place is very disorganized. Director, assistant director and admin staff are incompetent, and unprofessional. They increased the tuition after we signed the contract and were still trying to justify their action. No one took responsibility to resolve. They gave different reasons and made up stories when inquiries were made toward the balance. They dropped the wrong kid out of the program which is a huge red flag for safety concern. After my tour I knew I picked the right school. The staff was very engaged with the students. There are many curriculum. activities planned through out the day with classroom schedules posted outside each classroom. Touring the playground was amazing as all the teachers were playing with the students. I even saw a teacher riding a bike with a student!
