It's night and day from my childhood dentist on the east side of San Jose. The tech is advanced. As a new patient, I underwent a lengthy series of X-rays and pictures before and after my cleaning. Dr. Choi walked me through my teeth on the TV, recommended a complete game plan on what we needed to work on, and was very gentle and caring throughout all my appointments. There's even Netflix available while you wait during breaks. 5/5. I would (and already have) recommend this place to all my friends and family. I was still charged nearly $150 out of pocket based on insurance claims. This is extremely dishonest, unethical, business practice. Please be careful and avoid this place.

Unfortunately, my most recent experience left me deeply disappointed and concerned. At my last checkup, I was unexpectedly scheduled with a new provider at the practice. During that visit, I was told I had four cavities--which completely took me by surprise, as I've never had that many before. Trusting their judgment, I scheduled to have all four filled in the same day. From the moment the new doctor began working on my teeth, it was clear to me she lacked experience. She overfilled my teeth, which left me with an uneven bite and made eating extremely uncomfortable. I had to return the following week to have her fix them. That fix, unfortunately, led to another issue--she over-filed my teeth, and ever since, I've experienced noticeable tooth sensitivity and my newly filled teeth seem to be shorter than before. It has only been a year since I got them and already can tell they need to be replaced. It breaks my heart because I've always taken great care of my teeth, and now I genuinely feel like irreversible damage has been done. I strongly advise anyone visiting this office to request Dr. Sajid specifically and be cautious of being scheduled with the newer providers. Customer shew the front desk the new Delta Dental HMO plan member card inquiring if the dental office would accept Delta Dental HMO. The front desk lady said she had no idea what that plan was because the Delta Dental HMO plan name was not printed on the member card. She said they accept HMO plans, but there are more than a dozen HMO plans that they didn't accept. Customer asked if she could call Delta customer service for the plan name based on the "Group #" on the card as a service provider.
