The attached sign shows the prices. Good luck figuring out what the final height will be (after cutting) or even which species you get. When you find a tree you like you yell "cutter" and someone comes up with a saw. Ours knew the species (the most expensive type if course) so I suppose you could ask them but it's a little hard before you find the tree you like. He cut and carried the tree down. They had food and drink I believe. We didn't get any. Saving room for apple donuts down the road. Took my tag to the cashier. $136 with tax and tip! That works out to basically $4 a day for each day the tree was up. I actually left it up way into the new year just to justify the price. Why 4 stars? Because I read the reviews. I knew it was going to be expensive. It's a beautiful drive. They have their stuff together. The property is beautiful. The tree, which is now leaning against the woodpile in the side yard, still looks like we just cut it down. They have great trees and run a nice operation, just be prepared to pay.

I have been to a couple tree farms up at Apple Hill but this is the best experience I have had so far. You can cut your own tree or have them cut it for you. I got a cedar tree and I love it and it has a strong Christmas scent that makes me sooooo happy!!!

In august I walked to one of the workers to ask for a number to get ahold of someone to pick up this downed tree. For reference, I just spent $2200 for a landscaping company to clean up my yard for fire season on July 3. As they were cutting down another tree at a different neighbors yard, we approached the general Foreman, who had us sign a form to pick up the tree STAT. He apologized that it was not picked up sooner. He mentioned the grappler truck was sent to Tahoe but it will be back in two weeks. I watched as my neighbors trees taken down were quickly cleaned up within a matter of days. Two weeks passed and the debris and tree were never picked up. It is now September, last week I called the foreman's number and he was shocked to find out it still was not picked up because he says he put in a STAT order for fire hazard to have it picked up. He mentioned after talking to the grappler that they were in Camino and it would be picked up in a day or two( this was Wednesday September 4th). September 9th I called the number I was given and asked for a date for this fire hazard to be picked up. He was unable to give a date or time and said he has done everything he can. He apologized again and was shocked to hear it hadn't been handled yet. I have called TSU and left a voicemail around 8am, it's now 4pm and never received a call back. I am trying hard to work with this company but I don't know why I am being treated unfairly and left with a fire hazard in my front yard. Attached are photos of my front yard currently. I can attach any evidence of phone calls as well.

I LOVE THESE PEOPLE! For starters let me say that I did not…read morehire them, but after interacting with them I would never hire a different company. After a long weekend of camping I was driving down from Hell Hole Reservoir on the only road out of the area. Unfortunately, work was being done on the road but was not clearly indicated (seriously it was very unclear), nor was the work showing up on google maps or any other GPS navigation app. We (my fiance, dog and myself) found ourselves 3 miles from our destination with 1/8 a tank of gas and no option other than to turn around and drive all the way back up the hill to French Meadows and come back down the mountain the other way. Lets just say we did NOT have the gas to do that. Thankfully we ran into several members of this company who found themselves facing the same issue. After a quick discussion the team quickly came to a very fortunate decision; my truck and theirs would turn around and drive back up the hill (about 10 miles) to where other members of their team were waiting, and they would give us gas that they had for their tools and equipment. After giving us 5 gallons of gas they refused what money we had on us. Brent and his team then happily sent my family on its way back up, then down, the mountain. We made it to Foresthill (the first town with gas) with barely any to spare. Without this wonderful company, and their fantastically kind and compassionate employees, we would never had made it home safely. We would have been stranded in the woods, with no cell service or reception because of poorly marked under construction roads (an no notification to google that work was being done). If I ever EVER ever need a tree service, this is who I will call. They are fantastic people, and a company made up of fantastic people is a company I want to spend my money at. I will forever speak highly of Foothill Tree Service.

Not only do you get true 24/7 service but they come with state of the art equipment that gets the job done safely and quickly. They are all certified tree climbers and have decades of tree cutting under their belts. I am grateful for their quick response and safe approach to taking down one of the largest hazard trees in EDC. I was particularly impressed with the owner Chuck and his professional relationships he has forged with all of the officials that must be notified, especially with an oak tree removal. I felt when they arrived I had chosen the right company. Chuck, James and crew took down our huge 40 year old, 85 foot tall pine tree in short order (just one day) all while avoiding the fragile garage roof, close knit fencing / gate, and avoided all the fruit trees, grape vines and vegetables planted right near it. This tree was a monster that shaded our garden and delivered tons of needles and pine cones that littered the yard and roofs. At the base, the pine tree trunk was 2.5 to 3 feet diameter. They chipped the branches on site and hauled off the trunks pieces to the landfill. Thank you guys!
