Perfect stop on the road when you don't wanna eat fast food anymore. I knew I was in for a treat when people were walking out with sandwiches wrapped in paper. Delicious sandwich selection, and good veggie options. Do yourself a favor and order something on the Piaggi.

    Fresh baked scones!

The kids live for Milda's grilled cheese. Per my 7 year old, "I don't like it, I LOVE it, it's so cheesy!" I am so glad Mildas offers gluten free bread!! And it's really good gluten free bread too!! It's the cutest small town place. A picturesque small business with an owner who puts her whole heart and soul into the place. Thank you Milda!!

    BLT...great pick!

Passing through to Grand Rapids and stopped in for a quick sandwich... definitely recommend! Wish we lived closer! Super cute store, small inside seating area and some outdoor weather permitting. I had the BLT...REALLY good! Thick cut bacon with very little fat, awesome bread and this aioli that rocked. We shared a pound of the kugelis...OMG... addictive...I could eat those all day and night! I got a cannoli and coffee to go. Nice assortment of baked goods.

Our waitress was super nice and made us feel welcome right away. I ordered the Meatball Grinder with handmade sausage and beef meatballs, marinara, melted provolone, and a toasted hoagie roll. This sandwich was seriously delicious. The marinara was the first thing that stood out. It had a deep tomato flavor, was rich and well seasoned, and had enough garlic and herbs to give it a nice savory kick without taking over. The meatballs were tender and juicy, with a really good balance between the beef and sausage. I could taste the seasoning in the meat, and there was a little sweetness from the sausage that worked really well with the tomato sauce. The toasted hoagie had a nice crunch on the outside but stayed soft enough inside to soak up all that sauce without falling apart. It was messy, saucy, and packed with flavor.

First and foremost, incredible service. Very dog friendly and kid friendly…read more We brought our dog who is amazing at restaurants and breweries, never ever an issue. So we sat on the patio and the server brought out a big dog water bowl. Being a hot day however, my dog got over-excited and proceeded to drink nearly the entire bowl and it was full of ice so he threw right back up all the water he drank. We were so apologetic and our server was so understanding. Our server got some buckets of hot water and washed everything off the patio so everything was good as new. Thank you so much! The food was really good too - I got a burger. I know she said they smoke all their own meats so I should've gotten the pork or brisket (which my wife got and it was great), but the cherry bomb burger just sounded too good. And it was great! Loved the cherry peppers, perfectly cooked burger, well designed. Fries were cooked well too. Can't wait to go back. The only precaution I would say is: their patio sometimes gets very full of bees. So we saw a couple parties move inside to avoid the bees.

I really enjoyed my lox bagel and thought it was one of the best I've had!! The flavors were nicely balanced with the onion, capers, cream cheese and lox. I was able to eat it easily and get a little piece of everything in each bite. The bagels seem smaller than average, but who needs giant bagels anyway? I found these to be reasonably sized. Big overstuffed bagels that fall apart while you eat them - lox sliding all over the place - are really annoying. These were satisfying without making you feel gross after. The coffee selection exceeded our expectations. We shared a chemex for 2. They had a few single origin coffees to choose from and we had their pink bourbon Columbian. We enjoyed our coffee and bagels outside in their seating area and this was once of my favorite parts of our trip! We didn't have to wait too long, but as we were finishing, a long line was forming down the block. Consider getting there a little early!

Unfortunately, from the moment we walked in and looked at the menu, the woman with purple hair at the counter greeted us with extremely unpleasant energy. She rushed us through our entire order, wasn't friendly or welcoming, and was extremely difficult to connect with. What stood out to me most was that after our interaction, I noticed her greeting other customers who didn't look like us with a noticeably warmer energy. We ordered two sandwiches, two drinks, and two pastries, spending almost $40, yet the experience lacked any real sense of kindness, consideration, or basic human decency. Because I was being rushed, I actually had to get back in line a second time to purchase something I had missed during our initial order. We were especially disappointed because this was supposed to be a nice experience while celebrating my friend's birthday. We were grateful to see vegan options on the menu, and the space itself is beautiful, but unfortunately, it felt like the energy and level of hospitality inside depended on the color of your skin. That experience left a lasting impression, and sadly, we won't be returning.

The "Detroit style" pizza really reminds me more of focaccia bread. It is SO fluffy and delightful. Unpopular opinion here but I typically don't consider pizza to be a "meal." It's something you eat when you don't have it in you to cook, and even if you get it in Chicago it's like...a last ditch effort at feeding yourself. BUT this feels like a meal. Like a treat. Like a schmancy lil indulgence you deserve. My friend is gluten free and I never in a million years would guess this is gluten free. I almost hope they didn't mistakenly put it on regular dough, for my friends sake. But if this is legitimately gluten free, I would gladly get it again even if I wasn't with a gluten intolerant friend. The artichoke pieces are massive, tender and tangy. The sausage is a bit strange, ground sausage instead of little lumps. And the mushrooms really top the "artesenal" feel. There's a cute little market with interesting delicacies and they have an incredibly diverse assortment of non-alcoholic beverages. The clerk did an amazing job of describing many of the options, took a lot of time making sure we knew what we were looking at. Definitely a connoisseur. Fabulous. A little pricey but, again, this is an indulgence. A meal. A quaint opportunity to relax and engulf yourself in fluffy, delectable fare that feels authentic and real. Not just ingredients tossed on a piece of dough for convenience sake. I look for to my next visit here!
