I also love that I can sit there, absolutely silent, and not feel obligated to chit chat; I can also yap about my job and not feel like I'm a nuisance. You want your aesthetician to be a girl's girl, and Ashley is definitively that. I have had my family members also get their eyebrows waxed by Ashley, with similar rave reviews. Because of my brand loyalty, for lack of a better word, I have also gifted services other than waxing to friends and family with similar results. My one issue with Selah is their booking platform, Vagaro. I hate hate HATE it because it is consistently buggy. I will book a service, then never receive a confirmation email. Then, I need to call anyway. This has resulted in a lot of my booking being in-person for ease.

She is incredibly talented, and I was genuinely disappointed to hear she was no longer there. Greentoes scheduled me with another technician, Mary, for my next appointment. While she did an acceptable job, the experience lacked the warmth and personal connection I've come to expect. For me, building rapport with clients is an important part of great customer service. Today, when I called to cancel my upcoming appointment, the person at the front desk was unexpectedly rude. That interaction was the final straw, so I asked that all of my future appointments be canceled. After nine years of loyalty, I'm sad that it has come to this. Letting go of an exceptional technician and following it with poor customer service has completely changed my impression of the salon. It's disappointing to leave, but I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

My only negative was some light commentary on my current lashes and some criticism of that work. I know absolutely the quality of the lash care I have been getting for many years and it rubbed me the wrong way. I received a thank you email, phone call AND card post the appointment which I thought was an incredible touch. While I am absolutely loyal to my gal who owns her own salon and has been doing a beautiful job with me for 5+ years, I would definitely come here if I was in the market for a new permanent home for my lashes.
