Would highly recommend, they are great troubleshooters and are meticulous about the finish work. No surprise fees at the end either.

There were several tasks that the tile company was unable to handle, and Tim quickly stepped in and said, "I can take care of that." His willingness to help and find solutions made the entire renovation process much easier. If it weren't for Isamu Construction, I would have been challenged to find someone else to complete those portions of the project. I truly appreciate Tim and his crew for their professionalism, reliability, and willingness to go the extra mile. I would highly recommend Isamu Construction to anyone looking for a dependable and knowledgeable contractor.

Our goal was to finish prior to the baby coming and they exceeded our expectations and finished early. What can normally be a very stressful time, our renovation was a positive experience with a lot less stress than I anticipated. Attention to detail and a sincere motivation to do things the right way is how I would describe Igor and Vitali from Top Level Construction. A lot of the time these days you will hire a contractor or someone to do work around your house and they will do the minimum to make it work and usually cut a lot of corners. Igor and Vitali truly care about the level of their work and building things to last so there won't be issues in the future. An example of Vitali and Igor going above and beyond is when we decided to put 'Ohi'a posts in at the kitchen Island and they had to cut the countertop and tile around the uneven surface. It took a bit longer but the final product looks amazing! They even joked that they could install irrigation to water the trees if we wanted.. Igor could be a team lead/foreman himself as he showed so much skill as the understudy to Vitali. Whenever a challenge arose (which always happens in construction) they would always have great budget-friendly solutions to move the project forward. As the PM, Oleh, helped sort through everything with us as well. If we have future work that needs to be done on our house we won't look anywhere else. I genuinely would like to thank the Top Level team for everything!

Seems like a small job but since building is 50 years old, the new doors had to be cut down to size, fiddled with until closing just right and then painted. I cant say enough good things about this company in terms of excellence, friendliness and professionalism. I will never go anywhere else for home remodel jobs.

FIVE STAR rating to Jeff, Keith and the crew at Hawaii Home Remodel!…read more I contacted HHR at the end of December to receive an estimate. Instantly, I heard back from Keith to schedule a home visit. In the first week of January, Keith came by to do a look through. He was very kind and professional. Keith emailed my estimate within several days. Our bathroom remodel was scheduled to take 14 days, but it was completed within 9 days, which was good for our family considering we only have one bathroom. From initial contact throughout the project Jeff, HHR Supervisor, kept open communication with me every day. He kept me afloat on what they found, what needed to be done, what my options were. Jeff and his team were very detailed and the level of work they did was beyond superb. I'd like to send my all my aloha and much mahalo to Keith, Jeff and their Hawaii Home Remodel crew for their expertise and hard work over the past 9 days. You brought our outdated bathroom up to 2026. My COASTAL MODERN bathroom dreams have come true! P.S. so, when's our next project??!?! : ) HIGHLY RECOMMEND Liz Martin & Family

It took 3-4 months from start of project to completion in October 2019. Then less than 6 months later, in March 2020, we were hit again by water damages from the main pipes of our condo. Working with insurance companies for water mitigation is extremely stressful and you can see below the photos of what my apartment looked like post-demolition by the water mitigation help. (They even cracked our backsplash while demo-ing, which you can see in the finished photo--we opted out of replacing it for now) I'm so glad Dwight accepted our project because he made the restoration project a breeze. Dwight is a laidback person, which makes him very easy to talk to when it comes to addressing any comments or concerns about the project. Dwight and his team completed it in one month over several days a week. They worked diligently and quickly, and we appreciate the work they've put into piecing our home back together. When surprise would spring up and issues with my condo personnel, Dwight was incredibly flexible. When I had an issue with supplies or needed materials picked up because they didn't deliver to my door, Dwight never hesitated to offer his help there. He lives all the way in Wahiawa, works in Diamond Head and still managed to fix time to renovate for us in Downtown Honolulu. Mahalo Dwight for your hard work and dedication! We feel at ease in our renewed home and trust to recommend you to others and back to this home in the future. ...also did I mention that his rates are fantastic? Unbeatable in the Honolulu metro area. Support local. This local did an exceptional job.

A review a long time coming. I have worked with YB Builders on two major home renovations. First,…read moreabout 4 years ago, YB helped me with a massive kitchen redesign. They gutted the entire kitchen, used our space in a very clever way (incorporating the under-stair area for a very fun oven nook!). Yvette was very responsive, always on point, and stood by her work. When we had a major snag with a vent from our vent hood, she worked on that problem until it was solved, using a lot of extra materials and taking on a lot of extra expense just to get it correct. Our kitchen has held up really well- we love it. Another great thing to consider is the people that work for this company. YB's crew is amazing, and we love them all. I was so comfortable with them in the house all day long, and it was bittersweet when the project ended!! We ended up going back to YB for a major expansion to our house, which we called "Phase 2". This involved remodeling a half bath (including changing the plumbing), enclosing a lanai to make a full bath (which involved more plumbing, electrical, etc.) and building a huge lanai, and a lovely master bedroom. This was a huge project, involving diggers and cement layers and all sorts of subs. Yvette keeps all these moving parts working in tandem, and she does a great job. I can tell she's respected by all her subs and those who work for her. She puts her heart and soul in her work. You know when people joke about someone saying their biggest fault is their attention to detail and the fact that they can't rest until something is perfect? That's Yvette. She literally will wake up in the middle of the night worried about some aspect of the project and will not rest easy until it's perfect. I'm sorry I took so long to write this review, but I 100% recommend YB Builders.

I asked Yvette to take a look and she decided it would be too destructive to the cabinetry to remove the existing countertop. She determined that she could place the new granite one right on top and replumb the existing sink, which wasn't very old. It turned out beautifully. She also removed the popcorn ceiling, smoothed the textured walls and repainted. The 37 year old condo looks so fresh and modern! There was not a spec of paint on the floor or a drip on the walls. She did an excellent job keeping things cleaned up and keeping me informed. Her subs and crew are really, really good and she takes personal responsibility to get it right.
