This is probably one of the most local malls I have been to.
I only came here due to work. I had a meeting nearby and wanted to grab a bite to eat beforehand. I ended up eating at Starbucks. Let me explain. I love local delights, I love trying new things, so for me to go to Starbucks, there has to be a reason. I couldn't find an ATM and aside from full blown restaurants, the little food courts downstairs only accepts cash. No. They don't even take octopus. Rare but true! I was drooling over the sizzling plate but had no cash. How sad is that.
Back to the mall. They have a really good International supermarket downstairs and I am pretty sure it's at a fraction of the cost of what it would be on the HK island side. Good selection of local or international items.
The mall itself was not too bad. The ships were very local but they had a few bugs brands.
There wasn't too much going on at that mall so probably wouldn't return unless I was in the area.
It's very out of the way. No mtrs and about an hour or so from causeway bay (by bus). read more
