I popped my tire in an unfamiliar city, and was struggling with my spare tire. An employee of this company pulled over and asked if I needed help, and changed my tire for me!! I was stressed, tired, and so far from home, the help was so greatly appreciated and I felt grateful that I got help. I won't mention the employees name because I don't want to get him in trouble for helping, but I wanted to leave a review! He was extremely kind and saved my day! read more

Really wonderful experience. I was stuck on the side of highway on a holiday weekend at night. They were the only company that had tire service and when my spare wouldn't hold air, he towed my car to my home. Fast, reliable, and friendly!!! I called 6-8 other places they were the best price for tire change and tow. Also had someone available Late on the holiday weekend. read more

We were waiting for a whole hour and a half for them at 10:20pm and it's 12 midnight now. We kept calling them to tell them why is it taking long and they said the driver can't find us. Mind you we been watching the street and the freeway where we r stranded and not a single tow truck has passed so then we waiting another 30min and told them we want to cancel and the lady said give the driver a couple more min. More time passes so I called and I told I want to cancel because it's been so long and no one has come. read more

Needed two vehicles towed. Derek was helpful and got the job done. I was originally quoted $105 per vehicle but upon arrival quoted $130 per vehicle, ultimately charged $260 total. Distance was 8.5 miles from French Camp to Pick-n-pull. Feels pretty expensive but I was in a bind. read more

I got a serious flat tire while traveling on frwy 99 at 60 miles per hour, very frightening I thought someone threw a large rock since it was so loud. I got off the frwy to an area unknown to me...I call AAA gave them info & within 10 minutes Elias with his tow truck was there, what a joy to see him pull up...it was starting getting late, was not familiar with the area and wanted out quickly. He was so prompt, courteous and offered me to follow him to get to Airport Blvd...very sweet of him so Thank you Mike's Towing...Elias is a true gentleman and very efficient in his job. read more

AAA paired my towing request with Mike's today and as in the past the service was/is second to none.My tow truck driver was William, who is a true professional. He was at my location as per the eta if not sooner. This is when the display of professionalism presented itself. William was easily approachable, engaging and personable. We found that we both had similar interest during our conversation. Thank you William for the service you delivered and Thank you Mike's Towing for the Service you provided to all. Mike's Towing Service - Towing Near Me - Stockton, California

Horrible business, left me for an hour and a half before they told AAA my destination was too far for them, after they texted me "we are on our way" but never texted back to say they're not coming. AAA had to call someone else, you guys are rude and a poor business to treat stranded people like this. read more

This review is for Nathan. Called AAA for assistance regarding a possible battery or alternator problem. Help was promptly dispatched and I'm really happy with the response time (although I would have understood if it came a little later). Nathan went to work and performed diagnostics to make sure nothing else is wrong. Prior to pulling the old battery and without me asking, Nathan checked to see if the battery is still under warranty (to help me minimize my expense). That was really nice of him... he cares. It turned out my battery was more than six years old, so time for a new one. Nathan did his stuff and now my ride is good and ready to go again. Thank you Nathan keep up the good work and good attitude. Excellent customer service. read more

They are rude and think they are entitled. No need to go deep into why....there ratings speak for me. I canceled AAA too because they continue to keep them on their roster, even though customers are continuously disappointed by their customer support. read more

I'm not one to leave a poor review, but today I made an exception. I don't know who the lady is that answers your phones, but she was by far the worst person I've dealt with when requesting a tow. I called in the morning to see if I could schedule an appointment for pickup and delivery to the dealer service dept. I was told to call when I needed it picked up. And she was very short and snippy over the phone. So I called back in the afternoon, and was not given an ETA for the truck. 50min pass, and I decide to call back. Was told it would be another 45 before they could get to me. I told her I'd have to cancel the tow, as I had an appointment with the dealer, and this time would be too late. In the middle of my saying "Maybe I could call back and try again next week..." I was hung up on. I will never give this place my business after that. read more

If I was able to rate this company a ZERO, I would. I was was transferred over to this company through AAA for a battery jump. The lady who dispatched on 4/2/19 evening between 5p -7p customer service is terrible, she was extremely rude, very short with answers and when I stated that I was going to call AAA and request another truck after a almost 3hr wait... Her exact words Were "if that makes you happy do what you gotta do", if I could reach through the phone and choke the chick out I would. after all said and done AAA sent another company when came less then 10 minutes, and the were AWESOME! they actually told me that Mike's has a bad reputation in Stockton and that he always get there canceled calls, and I can see why. Suggestions for this company hire a new dispatcher who is customer service savvy, with a great attitude. read more

These people are crooks. Tried to steal my trailer. Got the release from SPD but still did not want to give my trailer back because they couldn't find a vin even though I had plates and title. CHP said they have to release it. They overrode the decision of the SPD and CHP and and STILL didnt give it back even with the spd release! If Spd,chp, and dmv say its mine then give it back!!!!! After 5 days letting their storage fees increase and giving me the run around they finally bowed down and released it. I ask for break in storage fees and they said we dont do breaks. I asked for my hitch that was on my pickup they still had that was impounded also so I can pull the trailer away and they made a big deal about that! Wow unbelievable read more

After waiting for an hour to tow my car, told the driver to load the car from the rear. While I'm turning the car around, the driver left & the answering service called me and said the driver will pass the service. I had to wait for an other hour for an other towing to arrive. This is un proficienal service. I would not recommend Mike's Towing for any services due to the driver behavior. The driver should be laid off for few weeks for his un acceptable action. read more

Sunday, December 24th, around 5:00PM (Christmas Eve) my wife-who is seven-months pregnant, she is also driving-and I were headed Westbound on Country Club blvd. A very young female in a pink onesie and house slippers, darted out ( totally at fault, and likely on her cell phone, in her boyfriend's new Cadillac CTS) in front of an SUV. Being struck and spinning, while we wait helplessly, almost at a stop when she punches the gas again plowing straight into us in the turning lane. Our front end was destroyed, the SUV front-end damaged, and the Cadillac CTS which hit us was completely destroyed as it is comprised of fiberglass, or an aluminum alloy body. My wife, her family, and myself spent the holidays in the hospital hoping our son Caleb is going to be ok. Still too soon to be certain. From the hospital I called Mike's towing who said they would call me back, but never did. I simply wanted to retrieve our items from our SUV, but no one ever called me back. We understood that Christmas day we would not bother them, and we were very exhausted from the incident, and worry for our child. We are still concerned for Caleb. 12/26/2017 We arrive at Mike's Towing (the extremely tardy Stockton Police department called them, not us) and wait for them (they were late opening) to arrive at their business. Inside, no one mentions a word about my wife's father and I not being allowed to enter the yard and go find the car with my very pregnant wife (who is still in pain from the collision), and unable to carry heavy things, to retrieve our items. Once we get to the car a very rude employee named "Sal" in very broken English, demands that I cannot retrieve our belongings (pictured above along with the yard), but only when I attempt to quickly remove our stereo (Sony CD with four matching Xplod speakers), and I said "This is ours." He said "I don't care, you can't remove that from the car." I immediately produce my phone and begin to take pictures, and I wanted to record him saying this to me. "Sal" then demands me and my father-in-law off of the property and told me "Fuck You!" and calls the wandering pitbull over. This is tantamount to theft. This is the kind of "Holiday Spirit" Mike's Towing provides to people who have just suffered a traumatic event. We took the face of the deck making the deck useless now, therefore, I guess Mike's Towing will get our not so cheap, four set of speakers. Note: The pitbull wandering around unchained/unleashed; "Sal" called the dog over to intimidate a pregnant woman, and her family. Also, notice that these crooks strategically parked another clunker right on our bumper to prevent me from getting access to the brand new spare tire mounted on the back; disgraceful. This business is a predatory, shady outfit (they employ thieves) whom of which, I hope I will NEVER have to conduct business with again. They took advantage of us like carpetbaggers, and troglodyte thugs. read more

We called AAA for the service, we need either a tow or jump start service few month ago. The Technician name is Joseph who insists he has the right type of battery, so we paid for the battery and left. After 2-3 months we could not startup the car again, we called AAA again, another towing company came and told us. He could not replace a warranty battery, because AAA does not carry right type of battery. So be careful they lied to us. So as a consumers when you don't know, your best bet is jump start and go. Don't buy anything they try to sell you. read more

I think the receptionist sits and writes the positive reviews because she was rude and acted like I was bothering her to call her to schedule our truck to be towed. "It's $75 and You'll have to call Monday to schedule a tow" called on Monday, "we don't schedule tows" you'll have to call the morning of. Called the next morning at 8am for them to pick up and have at Big Valley Ford by 10. "It's $85 and we don't schedule the tow" ok can you send someone now? Took an hour and 45 minutes and was $75. The only good aspect of this situation was the driver, Alex. He was courteous, knowledgeable and professional. read more

First time they were slow to arrive. When they finally showed up they informed me that their truck couldn't accomodate my infant with a car seat. Their other truck that would have accomodated an infant was broken down in the "Shop." Good grief. I had specified on the phone that my wife and 1.5 year old were in a hot parking lot when I called AAA. That is why we were calling a truck. They had the nerve to suggest that I call to see if a friend could pick us up. Again, that is why we have AAA. If we had wanted a friend to pick us up we would have called them first. No thanks. Instead I took the 5 minute walk to the auto supply store and fixed the car myself. What exactly is Mike's for? Second time, didn't learn my lesson first time. I had my wife get my car towed about a year later. Why was it so inconvenient for the driver not to remove two tiny screws so my license plate wouldn't have gotten all mangled in their chains. Seriously, it would have taken about 45 seconds to not mess up my license plate frame. They chose to not go the extra mile. In fact, in my opinion they didn't even go the first mile. Very disappointed. read more
