Food and drinks came out within less than 5 minutes. The owner Sue introduced herself to us as well, and I must say what a wonderful woman. She informed us that every thing is home made and I can tell, it felt like I was eating my mom's cooking. the food was so delicious the meat was tender and so flavorful. I really wish I had gotten some photos but it was just too good I was too busy eating it. We will most definitely be back for more very soon! Thank you to the staff who made our experience a great one!

My husband and I were looking for Korean food for dinner while visiting Charlotte for the weekend…read moreand came across Iron Dish. We came starving and left happily full/served well. It's in a midsized shopping center, and parking was pretty easy with lots of spaces in the shopping center parking lot. We came slightly before the typical dinner (again, *starving*) and were seated immediately. We ordered our dishes thru server, and they were delivered super fast. I thought I was going to pass out from being hangry, but I was soon dancing and enjoying the food! I'm usually a pork belly girlie, but do not sleep on their beef dishes. We wish we got more of beef at Iron Dish than we did because they were that good! The interior was pretty "rustic" with exposed concrete here and there. The table benches were connected to the tables next/behind you, and if you have a big person sitting next table, your seat will be shaken the whole time. Not my favorite activity to do while I'm eating, but the food was amazing. So it's a solid 5 star for me! I would definitely come back next time I'm in the area :)

There's also a pool table room. The food is really good. We've never had a bad meal and I need to say...the food is big portions!! So order wisely. It's great bar food. They pour good drink and the beer is cold. The service has always been good. When it's super busy it can be a bit of a wait but this is the kind of place you're gonna want to hang out at.

I visited here around 9:45pm with my sons after a day at Great Wolf Lodge. It wasn't busy at all…read moreand we were able to pick our own table. I ordered around 9:08pm. I ordered a large pep pizza (that was half off) and a "hog" sampler. The mozzarella sticks are very long. They were fresh but slightly overcooked and flavorless, honestly. The cheese on top was almost pointless as it didn't add flavor and it fell off immediately. The quesadilla was tasty. The garlic parm wings were crispy and cooked well but the sauce was different... it wasn't nasty but not what was expected. After a conversation with the waitress, she knew it was different. In these cases, I believe the servers should tell customers that versus letting them find out after the fact. The pizza came at 9:30pm and tbh, it wasn't the best lol. It was mainly for the boys and they ate it with no issues. It was subpar to me and I was disappointed. The service was inconsistent with attentiveness which was another bummer considering it wasn't busy at all. It's unlikely I would return.
