Amazed by the amount of great reviews, I decided to call Michael for our car service to and from our hotel and airport. I emailed him two months in advance and he was so communicative with me, gave me a fair and great pricing. Furthermore, I love supporting privately owned and small companies, because I value their dedication and amazing service. A week before our arrival to New Orleans, he followed up with me, confirming arrival times and flight number. As we arrived, he was already waiting at the baggage claim and along with hand-held sign with our name on it. We loved that without having to repeatedly call and worry where he is parked or where he is waiting. His luxury SUV is pristine and a beauty--a black Lincoln Navigator. There was so much comfort and leg room and his car was air conditioned already along with our seats. He also handed us two cold bottles of water, which we greatly appreciated after coming from a long flight. He drove us to our hotel and the ride was so smooth and we felt so safe that I fell asleep! Haha! Michael is wonderful in his demeanor, his personality and his service. On our last day of our vacation, he was already at our hotel exactly at 3:15 pm with the SUV ready and set to go to the airport. We used Mike's Livery Service for round trip transportation from the New Orleans Louis Armstrong Airport (MSY) to the French Quarter and back. First class all the way. Met us at Baggage Claim as we came down the escalator, helped us with our bags and delivered us to the hotel in style. The return trip was equally as smooth. They were 10 minutes early and handled our bags for us. We arrived at the airport early in the morning before the traffic was building up. I have over the years used many services when traveling. This was the best. This is not idle flattery. To be the best in my book you have to be better in all aspects than the competition. Nicer/Nicest vehicles (large SUVs), clean and comfortable. I helped book travel arrangements for a relative who is a nervous traveler. I went with Mike's Livery Service for her ride from the airport to her hotel, so she wouldn't have to worry about finding an Uber or a hotel shuttle. Mike's communication was great and he was there on time to pick her up at baggage claim - perfect! It gets better though. She needed a ride after her cruise ended, and Mike put her on his schedule. It turned out that the cruise arrived back in port MANY hours later than expected, and Mike had other rides booked so he was no longer able to drive her. He called other companies and found her a different ride!!! He was in constant contact via text and phone to let her know the status. Was having trouble booking with another company about 2 weeks prior to our trip, so did some research and made contact with Michael of Mike's Livery Service. He responded very quickly, and I had a reservation for transfer from MSY to our hotel in the French Quarter. I was quoted $75 for 2 people and luggage. I was a little nervous because there weren't a LOT of reviews for this company, but the reviews I saw were good. I figured if it didn't work out, we always had the option of a taxi. Since we have mobility issues, at the airport, my husband and I used the elevator rather than the escalator that most people use, so we didn't see our name on the board Michael was holding up right away. But that was easily fixed by walking a few feet to the side, and we quickly found our driver, Michael. He helped us with our many suitcases, and we walked the short distance to the waiting car. It was nice, clean, large, and cool. He loaded our luggage, and offered cold water. The drive was pleasant, good info about the area, good conversation. I inquired about reserving for our return to the airport in 2 weeks, and he told me to just email him the details. He helped the bellman unload our luggage, processed my credit card for the charge and tip. All very easy, luxurious, stress-free. Would definitely use Mike again, and recommend to others! I'm going to combine two trips into one review. We were coming into New Orleans a couple of days early for a two week cruise and Mike picked us up at the airport to transport us to our hotel downtown. Mike was early and waiting for us as we came down the escalator to baggage claim. He assisted us getting our luggage off the belt and to the vehicle. He was great at communicating by text where he was and where we should meet. The ride to the Quarter was very comfortable and Mike kept us engaged with information about the new airport and the city. The vehicle was clean and comfortable and in no time at all we we at our hotel. Great Service. Upon our return from the cruise Mikemet us at the Julia St Terminal. What can at times be a highly difficult event, Mike made meeting and getting us out of the terminal very uneventful. I cannot say enough good things about Mike. He's professional, courteous, prompt, knowledgeable, friendly--all good stuff! I normally don't go for the fancypants executive travel guy-waiting-at-the-airport-with-a-sign dealio, but I needed a solution that could safely get me, my husband, my baby, and all our stuff to our hotel. Renting a car in New Orleans is ridiculously expensive (as was parking at our hotel). I didn't feel comfortable catching a cab and trying to wrestle the car seat into place with a potentially unaccommodating cabbie or a broken seat belt. So I booked in advance with Mike (for well less than the cost of renting a car and just a little more than a cab). It was one of the best travel decisions I've made in a long time. read more

I just got back from several days in New Orleans, and I can't say enough good things about Mike's Livery Service. Mike met us in the baggage claim area of the airport, holding a sign, and was very easy to find. The Town Car was spotless, inside and out, and didn't smell of stale cigarette smoke & pine scented air fresheners, the way that most car services do. Mike was very friendly and gave us some good pointers for non-touristy places to eat around town. The flat rate to and from the airport was barely more money than a cab, and far more reliable.
