They tried to take advantage of our situation with inflated prices and were rude and disrespectful, even saying that they wouldn't come get us because they "didn't want to." When he first arrived (late), he was polite and friendly. However, once he had control of my vehicle, his entire demeanor changed. He suddenly dictated the price with no room for discussion. I had asked for a quote upfront. He said he needed to "figure it out," gave me an initial price, and then increased it by 40% with zero explanation. When I questioned the sudden jump, he became angry, turned himself into the victim, and began verbally abusing me for asking reasonable questions. What was supposed to be a simple thirty-minute tow ended up costing $30 per mile because he demanded it. This kind of predatory behavior is unacceptable. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Attorney General's office.
