Eric was super friendly and gave us great suggestions on gate placement when he came out for the quote. I called Heart about the issue last July and was told they would go look at it. I waited a couple of weeks for their plan of action but finally had to call them again. I have called and left messages but have never heard from them again. Obviously, they don't stand by their work!

On top of the great work, they were easy to communicate with, stayed on track, and genuinely cared about getting it right. The pricing was fair and transparent throughout. This fence is truly a piece of art - such a big difference in quality over some friends of ours that also recently put up a fence. We are definite fans of Tim's work and communication style. He is very responsive, clear and concise, and takes time to explain your options and reasons for choosing one option over another. He was tidy and respectful of our space and pets. For our back deck, I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted it to look like, so I just sent him some pictures and explained my style (modern, simple and clean edges - but unfortunately our neighborhood is very traditional so it still has to fit in with that aesthetic). I trusted his judgement and the deck came out just right - matching the house but with a definite modern style. We are super happy with the way all our projects have turned out, and we plan to use Cedar and Stone for future work this summer.

However we had countless committed dates for installation that came and gone. They would often say they would be onsite and never show up. Early on I referred them to a friend of ours and they experienced the same thing as they would most often never show up. Biggest complaint is that they would say they would be there and never show up where we consistently had to call to find out when they would return.
