I came in for a quick cleanup since my usual barber wasn't there. It was late on a Friday and the…read moreplace was completely empty -- probably should've taken that as a red flag. I told him clearly I just wanted my fade cleaned up for the weekend. He said it would be charged as a full haircut, which I understood and agreed to. Without any conversation or confirmation, he proceeded to cut about 4 inches off the top of my hair -- something I never asked for. When I told him I wasn't happy, he tried to brush it off and say it was still a good cut. That completely misses the point -- it's not what I asked for. After reading other reviews, it seems like this isn't a one-off issue. If you're someone who cares about your hair and expects your barber to actually listen, I'd be cautious coming here. It feels like a gamble.

I sat down amongst six other people who were waiting and waited less than 15 minutes. The entire Barber staff worked quick and efficiently and every person that got up had a great haircut. I was cut by a blonde woman whom was not only attentive to my wants and needs but was also great for conversation. We spoke of work and about the beach and things we were doing this summer. What was nice was that, it didn't seem like she was trying to force conversation. she actually was interested in what I had to say and the feeling was mutual. I received a low skin fade and it came out fantastic. She was extremely attentive to making sure that the fade I asked for, was what I received. My only regret was that I had not caught her name before I left. I'm not worried though becuase I will most definitely be back!!
