Rules for ordering your Westwood Donuts: 1 They change up their flavours every week, so if a round appeals to you, jump on it! 2 You have to place your order on Wednesday before they sell out. Don't press the snooze on this. 3 There's only a short window on Saturday for pick-up (12-3PM on Saturdays). Once you've completed the steps above, you're on your way to donut heaven. RATING: 9/10 - Westwood: Donuts The dough is everything you want it to be--soft, fluffy and fresh. It makes a great base for the various donut creations. I had the pleasure of trying these flavours: Chocolate Fudge Filled: With rich chocolate custard and coated in cinnamon sugar. You can't go wrong here. Banana Cream Pie: This tasted exactly like it sounds. Fragrant banana custard with whip and bananas on top. If you did a blind taste test, it would be hard to differentiate this from the real pie. The jalapenos were quite spicy though, so I picked out the extra large slices to give away and just kept the small pieces in for myself. The large size was a decent amount of food, and I had a tiny portion left over which I ended up snacking on later on in the trip. Overall, a great spot if you're looking for a quick casual meal and some interesting poutine flavor options. I've only ever had "regular" poutine before, so it was cool to read the different flavors they had and try one for myself.

The restaurant is a to go style establishment that serves a varied menu of pizza, pasta and deep fried dishes. I ordered 4 pieces of chicken to go. Delicious! The chicken I ordered was fresh, the pieces were a good size and the price was under $10. I have ordered chicken here a few times and haven't been disappointed. The cheesy bread is really good as well, so will try a pizza pie next.
