We ordered the Carrot Cake for Easter, the cake was so pretty on the outside and on the inside. But when I took a bite the cake didn't have much flavor. It needed more spices and more "carrot cake" flavor. The cream cheese icing was yummy though. It wasn't that sweet but it had a good cream cheese flavor. The cake had a slight after taste of coca-cola (weird I know). I am kind of disappointed because I was really craving a good carrot cake. read more

Went in to try it out, after hearing lots and lots of raves from friends. It was as good as they said. The cheesecake is really good, though if you're expecting the dense, NY style, you might be disappointed. We liked it anyway. Also tried the turnovers and the danishes. All very good. I stopped at this bakery around lunchtime and had the best brownie I've had in over a decade. The raspberry danish was also so good that after my wife ate it that was all we talked about. Maybe I need to try something else here, but everything we got was just "okay" and I was expecting a little different/better for all of the 5 star reviews. The customer service was 5 stars, absolutely. The cookies we got were very dry and chalky, I'd give them 3 stars. But the puff pastry/cream puff was good (but messy), 4 stars! Everyone was incredibly friendly, and after looking over reviews, maybe We need to try the cheesecake or a slice of cake instead of the cookies.
