Jeremy and Jennifer went out of their way to take care of our daughter, after she broke down on I35, an hour and a half from OKC on a Saturday night. Jeremy talked us through what the potential problem might have been from the description given. They waited up until the tow truck dropped off the car, and our daughter, at 1 am, checking in as the night went on until she got there. Jeremy began work on Sunday and kept in touch with phone calls, pictures and thorough descriptions. He even called our daughter to keep he aware of the car's progress too. I was astounded when the car was ready for pick up on Wednesday and at a fair cost - no price gouging. Jeremy does excellent work and not only knows what he's doing, he really enjoys it. He and Jennifer make a great team, caring about their work as well as their customers. I can't recommend JJ's Auto Repair in OKC highly enough. Stay away from this place if you value your time and money. This shop took 7 months to build a…read moremotor that I ended up taking to another shop to have fixed from the sloppy work done. Mark broke a bolt off in the main crank cap from the side. Then he did not put 2 bolts in the rear oil pane which goes into the LS rear cover instead he filled them with rtv silicone. When building a LS motor you have to use new head bolts because they are a torque to yield one time use but he used old bolts and charged me for new ones. Then he cut into the reluctor wheel while grinding on the crank so that had to be replaced. silicone was coming out everywhere so I could not trust it and I had to go to a better shop to have it checked. Motor has to be torn down and rebuilt, and parts replaced that Mark messed up. He thinks a person will not go through the trouble to sue him but for what I paid him and having to pay another shop to fix his sloppy work we will be going to court. There is alot of people saying the same thing and having issues with getting stuff done in a timely matter. Those good reviews are more than likely his people trying to off balance bad reviews. The review here on this page about a car breaking down at night and waiting until they opened is crap. Anyone really doing work with Mark is not getting anything fixed in that time frame so beware of the BS post here talking good about this shop. The crew je has now are not real trouble shooters so these posts are crap, The ine good mechanic he had died last year now he has guys going throught the motions with Mark being pulled in different directions to the piont the quality is no longer there. The review of the transmission repair is crap too he does not build or fix them. He might pull one and put one back in that someone else fixed but Mark does not build or work on transmissions so that review below is crap. The review the person posted here about going from California to Virginia is crap because this shop is no where near the highway for them to come off hwy 40 and find Marks shop out in the middle of Nicoma Park is absurd. There are many shops near the highway. Fake positive reviews. Cheap price is cheap work because you will end up spending more later to fix the work they do at Marks Machine Shop and Repair in Nicoma Park, OK. I attached pictures so you can see I am not lying.

I sent the truck in with nothing but a dead battery and 10 grand worth of parts and got it back broken down. They told me there was metal in the transmission and they didn't know how to delete the DOD (weeks were spent discussing the build) which didn't matter either way given I gave them every part to rebuild and bullet proof the transmission had the truck sent straight to Chevy and the transmission had 0 metal in it and nobody has been able to figure out why my truck is broken down a week later, absolute unprofessional bums.

I was told by Chris that my crankshaft oil seal needed to be replaced as well as a mount. He quoted me & I agreed to have it fixed. I picked it up & the next day I saw that it was still leaking oil, so I gave them a call & they said to bring it back the next morning. I was told that the leak was residual oil so I had my dad to call them to verify that. My dad was told it was some other issues that were causing the oil leak as well. I was led to believe that it was only ONE problem so I only fixed ONE problem. The said issues would be around $800 more. Being told just a day later that there's other issues is beyond me. I would have never paid to have gotten a car fixed with 233k had I know all these things were wrong from the beginning. The only thing Howard offered me was a "Sorry". So I'm out $380 & my car is STILL leaking oil! I will never do business here again.

Oil changes, filters, wiper blades, tires, etc. If anything highly technical goes wrong , I would use a dealership.
