My dress was not altered correctly, the material didn't match, and quite frankly he cared nothing about how I wanted my dress to fit only what he thought was appropriate... Excellent work! But Mike is very abrupt & bossy. He is also ( in my experience) right. So I recommend him just don't expect friendly.

Owner does sloppy and poor quality work .He also has very poor customer service as well as communication skills. I took a few items to him to have some simple patches sewn on, which from me researching doesn't take that much skill. Mike the owner would not listen or allow me to adequately give him directions as to what I wanted. I think anyone with common sense would know to use the same color thread as the item. Apparently common sense isn't common to everyone and he used black threading which was horrible looking on the item. He also sew the patches upside down which again was a common sense thing. I gave him an opportunity to rectify his work and possibly redeem himself and Mike's alterations. A few days later I went back to go pick up my items and they still weren't correct. His work was sloppy, amateurish and overall bad. I told him the errors he made and he still hadn't corrected from two days prior. He then began to lie and try to fast talk me without taking any ownership of his mistakes which is a bad business practice. When attempting to ask for corrections the owner (Mike) would not allow me to speak and said I was taking up his time for hours when I'd only been there less than 10 minutes. After asking him to fix the obvious mistakes that were visible to the naked eye, he then told me he no longer wanted my business because I checked the quality of his work and asked it be corrected like professional should. He said I never gave him the correct instructions however when attempting to do so he told me he knew what he was doing and rushed me out the door. He is liar, charlatan and poor businessman. He thinks his broken English accent allows him a charm to be rude, condescending and arrogant. I would never use this company again in any capacity. He doesn't do good work and his rudeness is very offensive. read more

I've been coming here for over a year, & was pleased with the service. Today, I was treated poorly by Mike & a lady that works there. They performed the wrong service on my pants; & when I took them back; they were very disrespectful towards me. All I wanted was for them to fix what I initially paid for; & I would've been happy. Don't listen to the negative reviews. I was skeptical at first, but I went in today and it was an amazing experience. Mike (if that's his real name lol) is absolutely fantastic at his job, and he is responsive to feedback and questions. In the MIDDLE of prom season, he helped fit my entire suit for a wedding tomorrow. The price is great for the service. People need to realize that not everyone is gonna pamper to their non-professional whims or preferences. Mike was kind, patient, and even repaired the stitching for free in places that it was damaged. Quality of work: 10:/10 Price for work: 10/10 Personality of Mike: 11/10, he's clearly foreign and used to arrogant Americans demanding things from his work, but he's funny and doesn't let it get in the way of his work. I took my dress to get altered and he didn't care about a single thing I wanted to get altered. Only replaced the buttons and said,"what's wrong?? It perfect!!" When I was not satisfied with the current state of how my dress fit...I allowed him to replace the buttons and took it home after that. I'm going to take my dress elsewhere to get altered. read more

I went into this place expecting top notch service. I had several items and explained what I needed for each piece. Mike became annoyed that I was confirming my order. While continuing to discuss my order, an older lady walked in to pick up her husband's slacks. She didn't have her ticket and trying to explain to Mike, she was in the area. He was so rude and disrespectful to this lady, I asked him was it necessary to be so mean. End of story, two of my jackets didn't fit and the sleeves were not adjusted. I explained I wanted the length corrected, he said, $20.00 per jacket and pick up Thursday because he didn't have time to be dealing with people who don't know what they want. I came into to get a Maxi dress hemmed. The man was very rude and abrupt because I wanted it hemmed but wanted it to be floor length. He kept saying just wear high heels! I told him I wanted to wear flats and wanted it hemmed. Well needless to say I picked it up a week later and $25 later! And it was too long! So I went back he measured me again and said it would do it again which was nice since it wasn't done right the first time. I had to wait though because he was going on vacation. I was fine with that. Brought it back and was now going to charge me an additional $10! $35 for a hem?! Then he realized he had the wrong customer when I told him that he told me no charge. He said how much do you want hemmed? I said an inch. He then shakes his head and starts getting all irritated. I said ya I'm short. He was totally irritated that I came back even though he told me to. There is a huge language barrier) which I am totally fine with, but he was so rude! I told him ok if you don't want to do it forget about it. I took my dress and walked out. I was so frustrated and angry not because of the money but because he was so rude and irritated that he had to hem my dress again. It was not done properly the first time. Either he didn't measure it right or just hurried and did it. I would not recommend this place at all. Very rude, terrible customer service, and just overall a bad experience. Mike is amazing! He can do a quick turnaround if needed and I have been pleased with his work on 4 different formal gowns.

He is wonderful. Do you have to be tolerant and patient , yes you do. But he gets the job done quick and good.

Mike's alterations is the only place that I will take my clothes to be altered. He can just look at the outfit in you and let you know where it should be altered at. Great turn around time. read more

Ok so I completely get how other people felt the owner was rude or impatient but I honestly didn't get that feeling. It might be because I was in a hurry and wanted to be in and out quickly so I actually appreciated how quick he was. I requested one pants to be hemmed and one to be tapered. I asked him if he could make them match. He did such a great job! I wish I took pictures of them before so I could add a before and after photo but the stitching was flawless. He was very kind when I came in to pick up my pants. Now the only thing he didn't do was tell me my total before he did my alterations. I guess I'm going to have to learn to do machine hems!! Every one wants to charge $10 to $20 to do a 15 minute job, if it takes them that long.... Then coupled by the fact that they are all foreigners and hard to understand. Plus they are rude and impersonable. Mike, himself, is very short on patients & rude. I went to pick up a top & a pair of shorts I had them machine hem. The top was cut asymmetrical and I wanted it even on the hem. He tried to charge me $10 to cut the asymmetrical part off and just hem that side. It wouldn't have been so bad, but, the hem line does not match the back side at the junction. Also, they left all the long strings instead of clipping them. I asked him if he would give me a reduction since he only did one side, and he got mad!! He acted like I insulted him & he very hastily gave me his new total!! I will only go to him in the future if he is the LAST RESORT!! read more
