I was charged $454.00 for a repair that didn't fix my truck. I want my money back. The mechanic changed out a knock sensor and turned the check engine light off. The light came back on before I got home. I live about 10 miles from the dealership. Took it back and they quoted $3500.00 to change out the next part. I JUST WANT MY $454.00 BACK. This doesn't apply to the dealership but I had some work done at Quicklane auto shop next door. Oil change great inspection fair but not up to par and brakes which were recommended making a Grunt noise that has NEVER happened before. Everything else seemed fine including great customer service but CAN NOT allow that to happen. In the AUTO business it is EXTREMELY important to prevent DANGEROUS stuff from happening. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT! September 26, 2020 This is unreal. I've never had issues with communication like this with any shop I've ever dealt with in my 50 years of life. My truck has been in their service department for 41 days now. The last time I heard from them was two days after my truck was delivered. They told me what the cost of the repairs were, just under $6,000. I approved the repairs to be done. I have not been able to get anyone from the service department on the phone and they have not returned any of my calls since then. I have requested the service manager as well as the service "Advisor ". Both of them let their phone calls go to voicemail and do not reply. I am from out of state and have no transportation to them or anywhere else. UPDATE November 17, 2020 It has now been 53 days (I've made two note payments on my truck) since my truck was dropped off at this place and I still cannot get anyone to talk to me. The repairs consist of replacing the transfer case, drive shaft, a new transmission wire assembly and a new fuel line. The service advisor told me they were just waiting on the wire assembly to come in and it was on back order. I had to have the entire engine replaced in 2017 and it only took two weeks at my home town dealership, so I was leery of this back order excuse. The part number for the wire assembly is listed on the original service estimate. I Googled the part number and every other Ford dealership and parts store has this assembly IN STOCK! I left a message with the service advisor about this and now they are really avoiding me because they know they've been caught in a lie and have exhausted their excuses for not doing their job. If I ever get my truck back I will have to go through their work with a fine tooth comb. It's obvious that they're service department is lazy, incompetent and just plainly don't care. That tells you a lot about their character, business ethics and work ethic. If the service is completed well and I don't have any other issues I will update my review with a higher rating. As for now...YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! I wish I would have read all of the other poor reviews on this place's service department before I CHOSE to give them my BUSINESS, almost $6,000! read more

I went to see Phil Tarver, owner, about buying a second of 5 vehicles. I had met him two years ago at this Ford dealership and told him I needed to buy 5 vehicles over the next 4 years for me and my four kids coming out of college. My word is good and I will come see you first. I liked him. I did buy a 2014.5 Camry from his LC Toyota dealership through Corey Tarver, his son, and GM of LC Toyota (even though thee local Honda and Nissan dealers beat their price). I asked a lady, "May I see Phil about a second purchase?" and she told me, "He is not here but Corey is over there." and pointed to him. I approached Corey and ask if I may have "two minutes of his time, 120 seconds?" He replied, "I am the only finance man here today and cannot see you." He further added, "And If it is about your Toyota driver seat bottom We are NOT going to HELP you. It is a Toyota problem." I told him, "I guess I would have to sue." He replied, "Get a lawyer." and THEN a large, black man named Sarge came down from the platform exclaiming in a loud voice, "You won't threaten my Boss in front of me!" and walked me out the door saying "DON'T COME BACK." I was shocked at such behavior. (The seat bottom is simply a case of breach of contract that was collapsing at 9,600 miles and in 2 months period within a 3 years 36,000 mile warranty). I had come to buy a Ford but left and leased a Nissan Rouge for my daughter. Tarver Automotive Group lost $80,000+ in additional sales and Toyota has lost $200,000. None of my family has bought a Toyota or a Ford in our last 6 purchases. (And may I add I have never had a seat bottom problem even in a same style smaller seat bottom on a 07 Chevy Cobalt driven from here to CA 5 times). read more
