Dr. DeMara has the best bedside manner I've experienced in an allergist. I've been to a few…read moreallergists and looking at their 2 and 3 star reviews, it doesn't surprise me. The girls in the front are amazing! And equally funny!! They greet you upon your arrival and don't treat you like just another person. The clinical staff are welcoming, thorough, and PATIENT! There's a machine in the back that measures your oxygen. The interface is like a video game where you have a girl holding on to a balloon. Breathing in at a steady rate gets her to float across this large canyon. If you don't breathe steadily, she dies (well falls into the canyon). Welp, after about 4-5 times, I didn't kill home girl. She lived. Dr. DeMara himself is a patient guy. I've never heard him raise his voice or get frustrated. He's very mellow and explains everything! EVERYTHING! Typical first visits take 45-60 minutes because you go through breathing treatments (if you're there for asthma like I was), get allergy tested (damn, talk about itchy), and sit down with Dr. DeMara. A huge plus too was that anything he prescribed you, he tried his best to find you a discount or coupon. I came on recommendation from a friend and so glad I did!

Every visit begins with an apathetic stare from the front desk. I've arrived to be told I don't have an appointment, accompanied again by a blank stare. I can't seem to get an issue dealt with despite being told on three separate occasions that someone would call me right back. I've left a couple messages never to receive a return call. My needs are basic, and I'm not getting them met. I tried to tell someone at the front desk about a problem once and the response was, "OK..." I'd recommend steering clear of here if you have another option.

Every other office staff there has been so helpful and nice. If I can I personally try to get help from anyone but her. The Dr is amazing. Very very nice and really wants to help you feel better and get better. The guy who does the shots is awesome. Great customer service tries to get you in and out. The type of care : is great expect that they are sooo overbooked it gets a bit annoying. I would recommend this place if you are willing to wait for appointments that are set so far out and get help from a nicer office assistant in the front. I do agree with a lot of the reviews below. They make you come back for test results from tests that they did same day AND you come back months later because it so overbooked. It took me 6 months in total to start the process just to get my shots. I rate this place 2-3 stars. So much could be done to improve and be a 5 star. It's starts with interaction, communication and customer service in the front. You are the face of the business.

Dr. Buddiga is outstanding! I had previously visited another allergy institute and was told I…read moredidn't have any allergies, which left me frustrated and confused--especially since my allergies have been unbearable since moving to Fresno. My son and I felt hopeless until my doctor referred me to Dr. Buddiga. After a thorough evaluation, I discovered that I'm allergic to quite a few things! Thanks to Dr. Buddiga's expertise, I'm now scheduled for weekly injections to manage my symptoms, and I plan to bring my 4-year-old to see him as well. The office itself is beautifully decorated, and the staff is both professional and friendly. I couldn't be more grateful for their help. For the first time, I finally know why I've been struggling to breathe--and I feel confident that relief is on the way.

The shots themselves are helpful. I definitely notice a change when I forget to go to my allergist vs when I do. The ladies that give the shots are the most friendly people ever and the ladies at the front desk are very pleasant as well! The interior is nice, there's lots of seating, and there's always ambient music playing. I did notice that during my first visit EVER, which was years ago, the doctor straight up told me to leave a 5-star review on Google. I thought it was weird, but I guessed maybe he was just trying to get his name out there. This year when I came back to the allergist, he asked me the exact same question! It felt kinda odd like leaving reviews was more important than my actual health. Also, when you get shots you need to come in every couple of months for a doctors visit. I pay $25 for each appointment which isn't bad, but the doctor seems REALLY rushed and just listens to my heart, asks if I feel fine, and that's it. Also, for anyone wondering, shots are around $100 for a year (I have insurance that covers part of it). You come in once a week to get one and make sure to look at their lunch hours because I always get that mixed up!

My biggest complaint is the LONG wait time for appointments. They are always running behind. This extends to the shot experience as well. It takes FOREVER to check in get a shot and check out sometimes. I'd love to have a different check in system that is easier for ALL patients. I will continue to choose to go here. The care is remarkably excellent! My health has never been better! Update: Office manager VERY responsive and pulled me aside to chat about my experience. I'm pleased with her receptive attitude!

The absolute worst!! I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone. I came to see him with concerns…read moreabout my food allergies worsening. He treated me like a nut case, basically saying I am a hypochondriac. So that alone was frustrating. He also spoke over me the entire visit, and tried having me change the description of my symptoms to something less severe. I'd say "when I eat this on accident my throat feels tight and it's hard to swallow", he would counter and say things like "no, you're experiencing discomfort NOT tightness. It is not difficult to swallow. You're wrong." I was so upset that this doctor wouldn't even let me describe my own symptoms!! If I eat avocados, my throat does tighten, I know this because it gets hard to breath! The final straw with him was when he very roughly interrogating me after I said I get sinus infections. He interrogated me for several minutes asking "how would I know if they're sinus infections? "Am I a doctor?""Have I ever had a surgery to look at these sinus infections?" Afterward he sent me for a sinus x-ray which cost about $50. I got a call a few days later from his staff letting me know I didn't have a sinus infection. I never said I did!! I said I have had them in the past. It seems apparent that he doesn't listen nor value the information he is collection for a diagnosis. It was all too much. He is a jerk and unprofessional. Luckily I have good insurance and can go to another specialist. Really don't wish this on anyone trying to figure out what is causing their allergic reactions. Save yourself the trouble and see a better doctor who will listen and work with you to find answers and treatments.
