We wanted an alternative to the massive Del Osso farm experience, so we brought the family here on a Sunday. Figured while most folks were home watching football, we'd take the kiddos here. Parking was free and easy, we got here maybe around 11:00am or so. Granted this was the end of September, so probably not the usual rush as we get closer to Halloween. The babies were free, and my senior parents were free as well (I forget the age requirement, but both my folks are in their 80s) $15 entry for my spouse and I, along with our school-aged kid. There was LOTS to do. My kids probably spent a good 30+ minutes each in the corn kernel pit as well as the bouncy area. We rode the tractor as a family around the corn field. Both kids got into the little miniature tractor ride around the lot, played in the western town, pet and fed the goats, and picked out some baby pumpkins for the house. We probably spent a good 2+ hours just hanging out. They got out all the necessary energy out and passed out for the long car ride home. There were plenty of seating options next to each attraction (corn kernel pit, bouncy area, little western town, petting zoo) which I felt was important especially for my folks, meaning you could let the kids roam free and still be within walking distance in case they got unruly. EVERYONE was so welcoming and friendly, from the folks who were at admissions, to the guy driving the tractor, and the folks by the mini-petting zoo. Just overall a really good experience and an off-the beaten path gem in Galt. We noticed an area for food/beverage options, but we had just eaten breakfast nearby, so I can't speak to the food options. After using Yelp for what seems like 20 years now, I rarely feel compelled to write reviews, but a small mom & pop patch like this and the memories for my littles to kick start the season is well-deserving of one. Up and coming patch, family run and operated me and my kiddo had a BLAST! We got to meet Mike and family, they run the whole thing and are super friendly, made us feel right at home. For the price of admission you get quite a bit and there's plenty to entertain the kids My daughter loved the corn pit, the face painting and the food vendors, there's also gem mining (small fee, but worth it!) oh and these big wheels to climb into and roll around! The hay ride, train ride, I'm probably forgetting something but it was a fun experience, beats apple hill for sure. Thank you Mike's pumpkin patch! Can't wait for next year's additions!!! read more

It was our first time going here 9/28. Everyone was so nice and welcoming! They have a hay ride, train ride(this will shake your world!my Eldest daughter's favorite!), goats to pet, wooden house/structures for the kids to play with, giant pumpkin bouncy thing, some outdoor games (giant chess, axe throwing etc..), good sized corn pit, kid corn maze, adult corn maze(we got lost approx 20mins. So much dead ends! It was great!), human hamster rolling thing, and paint face (included to the entrance fee!!!). I cannot remember the entrance fee, could be $15 per person or something. It's a great pumpkin patch that is reasonably priced. We stayed for at least 3hrs as our kids (8,6,3) are having so much fun. There were barely any people when we were there, I'm guessing it's because it was not October yet? But anyway, our family enjoyed this place. It's good for kids who like using their imagination when playing. Cons will be the food options.. There were only two stalls. One stall was selling sourdough, nuts, scones, and handmade jewelries. The other store was selling hotdogs, some drinks, and I honestly cannot remember the rest as my kids stopped at the chocolate sourdough and chose it right away. Shoutout to Patty for the Chocolate Sourdough bread! I didn't get to take a picture, but it was delicious! And another shoutout to L's Butt Nuts! They were truly addicting! If you're looking for a local pumpkin patch where they grow their own pumpkins this isn't the place where you want to go. Off to the side of their fence area there were numerous pallets of pumpkins that was shipped over. This is more of a local ma and pop type of business that is fairly steep in price $15 dollars per person, even if you're a baby or toddler you will be charged as an adult. Best pumpkin patch in Galt! My family has made Mikes pumpkin patch a yearly tradition and this year we had my son's fourth birthday party at the patch. My son has autism and the attractions here are just perfect for him. There is a corn pit and an inflatable pumpkin that he absolutely loves. I appreciate their setup they had reserved for us was covered in case of rain. We will continue to make our family tradition and possibly our son's yearly birthday party spot! This is from the point of view of a couple in their early 20s with no kids! It's a very friendly, wonderful place for families with kids under the age of 10 years old. They have a fun bouncing pumpkin, little play structures, petting zoo, train rides, face-paint and a cute little corn "ball pit". The prices are sweet considering all of the above is included in the 12$ entry fee price! As for the stuff that does cost money, they are also priced well! Pumpkins have great variety in sizes but amazing prices. The extra food vendors also have great prices as well. The only thing I would say if that the service of the staff seemed 50/50. Some of the staff seemed super happy to be there! But others seemed like it was more of an obligation. Maybe it was because of the heat but that's just how I had seen it. Shout out to the people who own the area with the goats... they are the sweetest! Loved talking with them. Front entry person seemed awesome as well:) As I said, this would definitely be cool with young kid families! I've worked with kids and I know for sure a place like this would be perfect, very safe and good for draining out the energy kids have! Also have picnics tables available everywhere. This is a place that's focused on the kids and their experience and I really like that! My oldest granddaughter's favorite is the pumpkin pillow. It's huge. It's like a giant open air bounce house and super wide. My favorite is probably the giant hamster wheel. But they also have goats, a beautiful, Shetland pony, caterpillar and tractor rides, old west village, music, giant, connect four, giant, chess set. Love it. read more

Absolutely HORRIBLE. The petting place with the goats, ponies, and cow was absolutely rancid. I believe they were neglecting those poor goats because when me and my significant other saw the goats, they just started shitting everywhere. Not even joking. Like in this 2 year old face just shitting. And the entire floor? SHIT. ABSOLUTE SHIT EVERYWHERE. No cleaning crew to be seen. Oh, and the corn maze? NOT EVEN A MAZE. There is no maze, just an uncomfortable tractor that takes you around. I'm pretty sure there are bots rating this place, because no way in absolute darn diggidy hell should this place receive the high rating it has. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, wouldn't pay a single dime to come back. I would have to BE PAID to come back. Rotting pumpkins everywhere too, bugs in them too. Absolutely absurd considering this is being marketed towards children. And so much land for what? Most of it is just empty. 10 min here tops and I'm yawning. read more

So many people have complained about the price but I find $15 to be decent for all that's included. So many places will charge extra for a petting zoo and hay ride plus everything else offered here. My daughter loved as well and my mother and I. Not to mention the animals here are very well taken care of compared to a pumpkin patch close by with a petting zoo. Everyone working was so nice. I am excited to see what they will add next year. People seem to forget this is only the 2nd year they've been around. Give them time to show you how great they are. read more

So much fun! Family run pumpkin patch with so many activities for all ages. My friends and I brought our littles here today. Ages 1-4 and they all absolutely loved it. There was lots for them to do and they stayed occupied for hours.
