So we went back with a hint of trepidation, but everyone was so kind. Freddy took the time to talk to my son, he looked at the picture and asked questions to make sure everyone was on the same page. He did the best he could to clean up the cut, and my son left with a genuine smile. Luckily, hair grows quickly. The gist of my original review was that my son asked for something very specific (and attainable for his hair length and texture) and left with the worst haircut he's ever had in his life. The barber was slow, and not only was it not what he wanted, it wasn't even a good cut. It was choppy in all the wrong places. HOWEVER, all of our other visits have been perfectly fine. We were just unlucky that day, I guess. I really appreciate how the management went above and beyond to try to make up for the bad experience.

They're all fantastic but Masha can do a fade and a straight razor shave like she grew up in downtown Chicago. She makes me so damn handsome. I find that many hair salons don't allow you to book online so appreciated that I could book online for Rosa. It's a cute little house that i probably drive by everyday yet have somehow never noticed. Inside they have a bunch of talented barbers, snacks, coffee and a nice sized waiting room. Rosa was ready for us when we got there and my son explained that he really waited to grow out his curly hair. She knew exactly what "tiktok" trend he was going for and got to work. I'm usually not a fan of the grown out look, but she did it in a way that even I liked it. She also recommended products for him and taught him how to style it now that it's growing out. My son left satisfied with the experience and his new haircut. I've caught him admiring himself in his phone camera a few times since we left. We will see Rosa in a month!

I found Mike because I had an upcoming job interview and figured I needed a real hair cut, not expecting to ever go back. He is an artist in every meaning of the world and takes care of you like nobody else. I just tell him to do his thing, and after he finishes, I look and feel like a different person.
