Has told me on several occasions that my situation would be over. Asked me to gather evidence which I did. That was in July 2025. Today is Nov 21 almost December and not only has she not looked at it but she hasn't even downloaded. I've spent over 5 hours on that. Being from Houston it's quite the journey to Austin. After driving to Austin and even asking two days before if court was still on and being told yes by her she told us to go back home as she had court somewhere else. 10 hours of wasted driving time for my family. I've been told several times she was going to meet with the prosecutor to get this dismissed. Over 10 times. Not one thing has been done to date. I've seen my health insurance canceled despite me pleading with her. I've sent videos of my ex attacking me even putting fentanyl in my drink. Yet no movement from my attorney at all. I'm not sure how all these positive reviews got here, however I've not seen that attorney at all. The worst thing of all is that I've let down my daughter based on the words and promises of Diana. She's now ignoring me and I have no clue what to do. Once again the system has failed to protect the innocent. I've never been so disappointed in a person. Hopefully those that read this take this into consideration on who they chose to represent them. Maybe she just doesn't like me and she will do better for you. I don't know. I do know that she has failed my family and myself.

Brian never responded to my request which was put in over a week ago. I understand things may be busy and he cant take on more clients, that's fine but a response of "Thank you but I cannot take on more clients" or "I cant take your case for xx reasons" is a basic and I think reasonable request after seeking his services. I would not attempt to hire nor would I suggest anyone else attempt to hire Brian in the future as he is unresponsive to basic requests and seems to have no respect for the timeliness that matters of the court deserve.

He initially told me he could ask for a dismissal since it was first violation in 6 years. I was told I received a deferral and that the ticket would be dismissed after. But then I was advised that I need to still enter a plea on it and claim nolo. Had I known that I needed to use up my nolo plea, I would have just gone to court and done that myself and gotten zero points. I didn't need to pay an attorney to do something I could have done for myself. I eventually had to go down to the court house in person to sort it out without the attorney, they told me I didn't need to make a plea. Which was even more confusing. I think if he just took 10 minutes to explain everything clearly it would have made this entire experience really different. The professionalism was lacking and the outcome left a lot to be desired. I also learned because they only take Zelle that there is no way to request a refund or dispute service like with a card payment so there is little recourse for clients if anything were to go south.

We were consistently left feeling like the attorney cared more about appeasing opposing council than in working for the interests of the client. And truly never felt heard by the attorney. Repeatedly repeatedly repeatedly the same point needed to be shared with the attorney and still they would agree to items presented by the opposing party that were illogical and poorly thought through. In the midst of challenging circumstances, the AZ Law team and Mari never demonstrated any empathy, any understanding or any real care about the impact of what was going on to the client. Cold, heartless, unsympathetic. And in the end very unhelpful. They charged significant fees without making any positive impact to the case. Good people, bad people, who's to know. But as attorneys we were not impressed or well represented by the AZ Law team. Look elsewhere if you need protection against a legal or civil wrong.

I cannot recommend this firm for representation in a child support case…read more I hired Kimbrough Legal in October 2024 to assist with enforcing child support. During my initial consultation, I explained that my ex had already been served by the District Attorney but was expected to delay and contest enforcement, and that I needed legal representation to move the matter forward. My case was assigned to an attorney who had recently joined the firm. My ex had abandoned our teenage son and refused to contribute to shared expenses. I spent significant time providing documents, financial records, and written examples to support my claim for owed child support. On the day of the hearing, my attorney appeared without prepared court documents. The judge reprimanded her for being unprepared. Throughout the hearing, she struggled to present the case effectively and appeared uncertain at multiple points. During the lunch recess, she stated that she was confident and worked on a different case. After a hearing lasting three hours, the judge did not award the full amount of child support sought. Shortly afterward, the attorney assigned to my case was no longer listed on Kimbrough Legal's website and did not appear at my settlement hearing a few weeks later. She had been with the firm for less than one year. I paid over $15,000 in legal fees to Kimbrough Legal. In October 2025, I sent a detailed written email to the firm outlining my concerns and requesting follow-up. I was told that someone from leadership would contact me directly. To date, no one has done so. While I understand that legal outcomes are not guaranteed, not winning would have been easier to accept had Kimbrough Legal represented me as expected. Acting in good faith, I spent money I did not have on what was presented as a straightforward child support matter; however, the legal services I paid for were not delivered as represented, and no accountability followed.

Lisa arranged all the necessary paperwork with the DA's office and got her case resolved without her ever having to be arrested. The case was dismissed. Lisa is one who will give you blunt, honest answers, and lets you know she will do her best to get the case resolved in a timely manner. I have told her, she is a God send for those who happen to stumble upon troubles. She's so modest and saying "No I just a hard working attorney".
