Not one question was unanswered and all concerns were thoroughly and repeatedly explained. They were beyond patient, understanding, and genuine. I consider them friends and will always owe this firm for what they've done for me. Thank you for my stability and life.

He had such a depth of knowledge and went above and beyond to help me for 30 minutes, pro-bono. In that 30 minutes I gained so much perspective and guidance that I can't begin to describe how good Bill is at his job. (I'd already talked with other lawyers that were short and not knowledgeable, and frankly didn't seem to care). Bill took the time to get up to speed, was able to quickly do so and provide expert and invaluable advice. He did this out of the goodness of his heart as I did not compensate him. I got the sense that he only did this for one reason: because he actually cares about humans and the people that he represents. He doesn't want to see anyone taken advantage of like I have been..in short, he actually has a heart... and I'll be forever grateful. With the information Bill provided I'm attempting to negotiate a settlement on my own for now, because if I involve lawyers, my contract is very homebuilder friendly. However, should things escalate and I need an attorney, I know exactly who I will have on speed-dial! Bill Gammon, thank you so so much!!

One of the best thing I ever did was hiring Christopher Daves to prepare my Trust for my Estate…read morePlanning. I wanted to take care of some important things in my life, like Estate Planning and getting my estate and health wishes in order before my retirement age to make life easier for my relatives without the future expenses of attorneys and having my legal & health documents all done and stored in one place. I called Christopher Daves to make an appointment for a meeting to come in to discuss setting up a plan to protect my assets he called me back the same day. I met with Christopher and he was very knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable to all the questions and answers in setting up my Trust. I had just gone through probating my mother's will. Her home was valued at $85,000 and only about $15,000 in other assets including cash. The small town attorney in Gatesville, TX charged me $3,000 which I thought was outrageous since her estate was so small. The total amount was not much more for setting up my Estate Planning and creating my personalized Trust that Christopher Daves prepared. I decide to do a REVOCABLE TRUST - putting all my assets including my rental homes and my LLC's into the trust so my trustee, upon my death steps in and continues to run business without dealing with an attorney or probate judge making an appointment. All my deeds, bank accounts and personal assets were transferred to the trust protecting me against any future losses or liability. Knowing I'm protected when my health declines in the future and I'm protected for any lawsuits or scams when I get older is such a peace of mine. When my personalized Trust was finalized and Christopher recorded all my deeds. I was given a binder with all my legal documents all in one place to have access to. Very simple organization at a very affordable price and peace of mind. I highly recommend Christopher Daves for your Estate Planing or other legal needs.

Four years ago, entering into my sixth decade of life, I was confident in my bullet proof financial…read moreretirement plan. However, a year later I took the advice from someone I wholeheartedly loved and trusted to invest in a real estate opportunity. Three years later, I have witnessed a slow and steady loss of funds to an investment I was guaranteed would produce not only my investment dollars back but 10% interest. Now there is no guarantee, which left me paralyzed with fear. Being new to Austin I felt stuck in this situation so I shared my dilemma with a new friend. He, a Family-Law Attorney, interrupted me to say without hesitation, "You need David Gottfried! He's not only an excellent Real Estate Attorney, but he's a brilliant Trail Attorney, too." I thanked him for his recommendation but still wasn't sure this was a matter I could trust to anyone at this point. I felt stuck with no hope. My friend encouraged me to stay on the phone with him while he called David to join us on a 3-way conference call immediately. Not even knowing where to start my friend introduced me to David then I sat in silence listening to the two men discuss my potential case. This matter was way too big and emotional for me to even give input. Within a few days David earned my trust. He was patient with my questions, he never talked down to me, and often said things to rebuild my confidence and self-worth. David, truly cares and protects his clients from heading deeper into the abyss. He is reliable, able, and strong. Plus, he's a mover and a shaker who thinks out of the box, and often laughs at my crummy jokes. David actually makes a stressful time almost feel like it's a fun thing to do. He's an amazing man who can balance brilliance with bedside manner. David Gottfried and his team are the very best Austin has to offer.
