I contacted Carlette to find out what the next steps should be as this is the recommendation per Erie's website. "Contact insurance agent". I did this and Carlette's response was "I'm not sure" call this number and she gave me an 800 number to dial. Due to being unsatisfied with the service provided to us, we decided we wanted to get a new agent and found out our current agent needs to approve the transfer and Carlette is denying our transfer because she stated "it is up to her discretion". Because of this my husband and I will have to start a new policy, which will increase our rates and cause us to lose our vanishing deductible. We've been in touch with another insurance agent with Erie and she's stated that she's allowed several customers to transfer and all she has to do is click a button that states "initiate transfer". This shows me that Carlette is deliberately making this a personal issue, which is highly unprofessional. If you want someone with integrity, I HIGHLY advise choosing someone other than Carlette at Fuerst Insurance.
