Shortly after moving to Great Falls I went to 15th Street Service Station. I had a lot of work done…read moreto my truck. They were extremely kind, professional, honest and straightforward. They were great at explaining to me the issues the vehicle was having or could have, and kept me informed and involved in all decisions and updated me with any possible price changes. More recently, I was involved in an accident. I chose 15th Street as the tow company. The tow driver picked me and my truck up. I was a bit shook up. I have no family here and was having an "i want my daddy" moment and Gary was very patient. Helped me out of my vehicle, as the door was stuck shut, explained processes to me. He helped me find words when I was too shook up to find them myself. He drove me to More than one car rentals, waited for me to get a rental. he went out of his way out of the kindness of his heart and made being far from home seem not so far.

For almost five years until recently, 15th Street Service Center took care of my 2002 Audi A6, my…read more1991 Toyota forerunner SR5 and my 2013 Toyota custom trail forerunner. This shop's professionalism, expectation-setting, expertise, honest guidance, true pricing, timeliness and responsiveness cannot be praised enough by me. I had a diversity of vehicles that they were able to service from tires to alignment to mechanical to technology, etc. - especially troubleshooting what was wrong with my older vehicles, find parts and keep them running - and they could always fit me into their schedule no matter how busy they were, and meet the deadlines they set for pick-up appropriately. The staff was always kind, courteous, took lots of time to help you with whatever challenge you had, and always took the time to explain the issue and the choices you had to remedy the problem. I cannot recommend any vehicle mechanics and full-service fuel business in Great Falls for a service related business that is better than 15th Street Service Center. If I still lived there they would have my business for life. A special note: if you are a woman, I highly recommend this business because they are one of the mechanic shops that doesn't charge women higher prices because of their gender. If you are a woman and don't know your vehicles well, this is something many mechanic shops will often do. As a female bringing your vehicles to 15th Street Service Center, you can expect respect, honesty and the same prices as anyone else coming in. If you need repairs or anything for your auto, please consult this business. I highly recommend their services and their stellar workforce.

BEWARE. Price doubled with no warning or answer to any communication. Over a month late from the…read moredate it was supposed to be done. No excuses. No apology. No compromise. Yes they are all nice people, but I think someone who is the Pastor of a church should be more transparent. I know of at least THREE other person(s) who were also double or over charged and waited an extra month or extra time. If you use their services get it written in stone with an agreement that any extra charges must be discussed in advance....that is my advice....or just go somewhere else. Too bad. I did not expect such treatment. I am shocked. I can not imagine the damage this sort of behavior could do to families and individuals who are living on the poverty line. For someone who has lived and worked in this community for 60ish years one would think they cared more about these people. It is as simple as keeping your word or getting consent prior to doing more work on a vehicle that will cost more money. A responsible business owner must be transparent and trustworthy. Also please refer to this Montana statute for information on laws for auto repair shops: 23.19.202 REPAIRS, ESTIMATES, AND INVOICES. It very clearly states you can only be charged $25 or 10% more than you are quoted. Get your quote in writing and report it if they violate the law. If this has already happened to you know that you have rights. Start with a claim to the Better Business Bureau and try to get resolution that way. After 4 attempts at resolution via email and phone the owner Bill agree to a meeting. The meeting was recorded with consent by all parties. I was astounded at the result. Not only did he not make it right according to the law but he exploded at the end. The owner rolled his eyes at the mention of the Montana Law as I read it. I kept trying to get him to understand his behavior was illegal and he would not have it. He belittled me as a woman and tried to separate my husband and I in the conversation saying I had no part in this or say. As Christians and a married couple we very much decide things together and look for resolutions together. It was the craziest meeting I have ever been in. This man who is the Pastor of a church in town was yelling at me by the end screaming "I am old enough to be your Father!" ....like that gave him a right to break his word to us and others as well as the law? like that gave him a right to belittle me as a woman? He threatened me and told me he would call every church in town and every auto shop and say bad things about me because of this. It was the weirdest meeting I have ever had. I have never seen such disregard for legal boundaries. At one point he even said it is the responsibility of the customer to call and ask him if the price has changed or labor increased - not his. I am pretty sure that burden falls on a business owner. Mind you we spoke weekly and nothing was ever disclosed. If I were you I would go elsewhere. Save yourself some serious confusion and drama - get your vehicle completed faster - and save some money. Yikes.

I don't know what to say about this repair shop just think twice about what your getting yourself into when you have a repair done by this company.
