Also, Despite their website saying that they're open till 6p on Saturdays, they told me that they close at 5p in the summer!?! Plus, their cars don't seem well cared for. Very dirty inside and out! Just not a good experience at all!! Owners Response (from Google): Dear Daniel. You came at our place at 5:30 pm , before closing up and you want to test drive several vehicles wich you wasn't sure wich one you want. Even my salesman gave you one of them to drive and you wasn't nice to my salesman. He asked you to come on Monday to complete your test drives and you told hem forget about there is a lots of dealerships around. Good luck. My Response: Actually, I came at 5p, a good hour before your own posted closing time of 6p. So, what is it? Do you close at 6p, like your own website says, or 5p like your "salesman" said? (I'll post a screenshot here showing what your website says) Yes, he did let me test drive one vehicle (which I was grateful for and which took only about 10-15 minutes; we didn't enjoy its ride, which is only the vehicle's fault). He said another specific vehicle wasn't possible for today (which was completely understandable, it was quite packed in to your showroom. So, no complaints there). However, we were NEVER rude to your salesman!! I was consistent in minding my manners (asking with pleases and giving thank you's)! Your "salesman", on the other hand, was very curt and disinterested!! He was unhelpful as I tried asking questions about several vehicles (I'm not sure if he just didn't know the answer, which doesn't look good if you don't know your products; or if he just lacked any desire to sell us anything). So, when I finally decided we should just leave, since your "salesman" was clearly fairly rude and quite possibly a liar, yes I did say that there are plenty of other dealerships we can go to. And you know what? There are and they have all been polite and helpful, so far! So, we'll happily give them our business! One last thing, your response here just shows the nature of your business! Most businesses apologize for any misunderstanding or lack of care a customer receives. Usually, they then ask for another opportunity, which I would have given as I believe in 2nd chances! However, In my opinion, your response proves that you are at least mildly rude, quite disinterested in your customers, and most likely liars! All TERRIBLE traits for any business, but amplified by the fact that you are a used car dealership (way to live up to the stereotype)!!

I reported them and the mechanic shop they use, Avtar Auto Repair, who clearly just wrote a fraudulent safety without inspecting the vehicle at all, to the Ministry of Transportation who informed me they have multiple complaints on file for both the dealer and mechanic. These people are liars and dont deserve your business. I would give 0 stars if it was an option. They have also removed my review from google. SHADY!

I took delivery of a new Tucson hybrid on July 18, 2026. My salesperson was Roger. I met him a few…read moremonths earlier when my mother purchased a vehicle from Rexdale Hyundai. I contacted Roger by email and negotiated an out-the-door price, which included my trade-in vehicle, a 2022 RAV4 hybrid. Once that was settled, I told Roger that I was not ready to sign papers to purchase the Tucson hybrid just yet. I had to sit on my decision to purchase a Tucson at least a couple of weeks because the Tucson hybrid was not my first choice; I wanted another RAV4. My 2022 RAV4 had been the most reliable vehicle I had ever owned, and it retained a high resale value. Roger patiently stayed on the sidelines for two weeks, including weekends, as we played email tennis. I would email Roger with my doubts about the Hyundai brand or the Tucson hybrid model, and he would reply with facts--not empty sales pitches--addressing my concerns. Slowly, my trust in the Toyota brand was overshadowed by Roger's passion for selling Hyundai vehicles. Nonetheless, I almost bought another RAV4. I managed to find the exact RAV4 trim and XLE model in my preferred color available for immediate sale at a Toyota dealership. Statistically I had a better chance at getting struck by lightening but I called the Toyota dealer and a salesperson confirmed the vehicle was available for sale because someone's financing fell through. However, when I arrived at the dealership, my decision to buy another RAV4 quickly shifted. To start with, the dealer sneaked in some options, which is a clear tactic to inflate the sale price of the vehicle. The Toyota dealership was offering less money for my trade-in, and they would not even consider removing or reducing the price of the add-ons. If I did not want the vehicle on the lot, I would have to place a factory order, and they would not lock in the trade-in value of my vehicle; it would have to be reappraised months later when it had more kilometers on the odometer. I almost completed the deal on the available RAV4 XLE model, but first, I called my insurer to get a quote for a new 2026 RAV4. On my recent renewal in May 2026, the premium on my 2022 RAV4 shot up by $400. I received a quote for a 2026 RAV 4 XLE that was $1,050 more than what I was paying for my 2022 model. The reason for the steep increase was that since 2022 RAV4s are at the top of the stolen vehicle list. The increase had nothing to do with my driving record. At that point, I sincerely asked myself what Toyota was doing to earn my loyalty as a repeat customer. The answer was crystal clear--nothing. Four years ago, I had to wait four and a half months to take delivery of my new RAV4. I tolerated the wait because the world was still upside down, and there were supply chain issues caused by COVID. I did not expect the same nonsense four years later. This time, it had nothing to do with COVID supply chain disruptions. Toyota learned from COVID that by producing only what customers are lining up to buy, there would be no oversupply of vehicles flooding the market. In this manner, there is no reason to give customers incentives. Then Toyota increases profits by starting with an underwhelmingly equipped base model. A customer has to move up to the third trim level to get a sunroof and a power liftgate (note: a sunroof, not even a panoramic sunroof like the Hyundai Tucson). Toyota and their dealership network have eradicated a consumer's power to negotiate a fair deal. Toyota has so many loyal repeat customers that they can afford to raise prices, and a dealer can inflate the price further by adding features, knowing that if one person does not want to buy a RAV4, there are ten others who will. I refused to play into Toyota's follow the herd mentality. The next day, July 17, 2026, Roger alleviated any last-minute buyer's remorse. I have never spent almost two hours taking delivery of a vehicle before. Roger sat me down at his desk and installed a special app on my cell phone. With the Hyundai Blue Link app, I had no interest in the app until he explained that it also has a feature that informs the owner if the vehicle has a problem. Talk about peace of mind! It's like having my own diagnostic tool in my hand. If something is wrong with my vehicle, I can bring it in for service before the problem worsens or I break down somewhere. For all Toyota RAV4 owners, go see Roger and test drive a Tucson hybrid first and you may also change your mind like I did.

From the moment I walked in, Rocky was knowledgeable, honest, and made me feel completely comfortable making such a big purchase--even though my husband wasn't available to be there with me. He took the time to help me choose the perfect car without any pressure. What truly stood out was his dedication to customer service. After my initial purchase, I called back to upgrade my model and asked if it would be possible to receive it the same day. Rocky made it happen. Within 24 hours, I had my new Kona with the updated trim, and to top it off, he even added balloons to surprise my 3-year-old daughter. That thoughtful touch meant so much. To say Rocky went above and beyond is an understatement. I was blown away by the service from the moment I stepped into the dealership to the moment I drove away in my new car. Thank you, Rexdale Hyundai and Rocky--I am truly grateful!

The service manager sits in her office all the time. Never came out once to see what's going on in her shop. She should put on some safety boots and PPE and visit the shop frequently. This is the Toyota way to manage! Hands on! I would know as I worked as an Engineer in Toyota Canada Manufacturing for 14 years. I scheduled my service on line and called to confirm and reconfirmed twice by email. All for nothing. I showed up 10 minutes early only to wait 10 minutes for the only service advisor present to finish some paperwork. He then filled out my paperwork and after I signed it he told me the service work will be done in 1.5 hours. After waiting for 1 hour and 15 minutes my car had not even been touched by any service technician! I complained to the service advisor and asked to see the service manager. She did not seem to care at all. So I cancelled the service and left. I don't understand why they think it's OK to overbook the shop and force the customers to wait for hours. By the way, they don't have a shuttle service. Terrible service department!

TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE! I strongly advise against…read morepurchasing from this dealership. My experience with Sam and Carlo was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. Sam's customer service was the worst I've ever encountered; during a call about my potential purchase, he yelled at me for asking simple questions. My boyfriend and I visited to look at a Mercedes B250, which was listed at $14,995, plus certification and tax. I confirmed this price during our test drive. However, when it came time to sign the contract, an unexpected $400 charge for rust-proof spraying appeared. When I inquired about this, Sam insisted it was "mandatory" for all their vehicles and not optional. Regrettably, I signed the contract and placed a $1,000 deposit. Less than 24 hours later, I requested an itemized bill of sale to clarify the charges before making the final payment. Sam refused to provide it. When I mentioned I would bring my mother to see the documents in person, he suddenly agreed to remove the rust-proofing charge. However, the revised total he sent still didn't add up. When I texted to clarify the breakdown and asked for the CARFAX report--which I had not received at the time of signing--Sam called me immediately and yelled, questioning why I was asking so many questions. I reminded him that I had a right to this information, especially for such a significant purchase. His aggressive tone made me uncomfortable, and I knew I didn't want to continue doing business with them. When I went to the dealership with my parents, Sam refused to refund my deposit, contradicting himself by claiming he had told me the spray was optional. His behavior was deceitful and disrespectful. He changed his answers to please my parents, showcasing classic scam tactics to salvage the deal. The entire situation escalated quickly, revealing how desperate they were to secure my money without addressing my valid concerns. It's shocking how I was treated after being compliant until I started asking questions. I ended up losing $1,000 in this process. Furthermore, the CARFAX situation raised red flags. Their listing claimed "!!!Carfax Clean No Accidents!!! !!!", yet there was no link to the report on their website, unlike most dealerships. During my initial visit, I was never shown this CARFAX, nor was it offered. They expected me to purchase the vehicle without providing crucial information regarding its accident and service history. When I requested a copy of the CARFAX, their defensive reaction only heightened my suspicion. As a customer, I have every right to know the vehicle's history, and their refusal to provide this information is concerning. Their misleading claims about the CARFAX are designed to lure buyers in without transparency. PLEASE learn from my experience and avoid this dealership at all costs.
