Ordered Mikado delivery for lunch and it did not disappoint! I had the beef and shrimp hibachi bento box which was a generous portion for take out and delicious-everything was still nice and hot. I also ordered two sushi rolls, a tuna roll and a shrimp cucumber mango roll with spicy mango sauce, as well as miso soup. The rolls were good but I will say the shrimp cucumber mango roll was not as spicy as I thought so if you tend to shy away from spice this is definitely tolerable, good amount of tuna in the tuna roll! The miso soups were piping hot and delicious- overall I would definitely order again and I look forward to dining in. read more

There are not a lot of Poke places in York, PA so Mikado Poke has a chance to really grow the business and stand out. However the food is mediocre, service very slow, and orders take longer than a full service restaurant. In addition to order speed and accuracy being subpar, the customer experience from the staff is nonexistent: no communication about why order is delayed/wrong and most important no expression of regret or remedy for lack of delivery. read more

Love the many options to customize my Poke Bowl! The ingredients are always fresh and cut into appropriate bite size pieces. Presentation is delightful with the proteins and toppings spread carefully on top of rice. I usually get shrimp + chicken but tried the tuna + salmon which was great. I use their website to order and never have any issue with the ingredients or having to wait more than a few minutes beyond expected pickup time. Pickup process is swift and bowls are sealed tightly with a lid. Interior is spotless and the staff is pleasant. read more

After moving to York from New York, one of the dishes I missed the most was Poke!!! I'm so glad I found Mikado!! I had the Poke burrito. It was so delicious and just the right size! The sushi quality was also pretty fresh. I know I'll be back on a weekly basis. read more

I would've given this a 5 star rating before my most recent experience. The person putting my food together not only was not wearing a mask but I observed him wiping his nose on his sleeve. I won't be returning until the pandemic is over. It's a shame because I absolutely love the food and had become a regular. read more

Grabbed dinner here during a winter storm. We ordered online and the food was ready for us once we got there. We got two chicken and beef/shrimp bento boxes, beef and salmon hibachi and a 3 meat poke bowl. Everything was super delicious and priced super well! I just went here for the first time and I know I'll be back! I got the shrimp hibachi bento box, the shrimp tempura roll, and the salmon avocado roll. It was done quickly and the presentation was nice. You get a good amount of food for the money you pay. Everything tasted good- I recommend asking for extra teriyaki sauce. We were the first people in there and we were the last people out. When told you have a twenty minute wait it should be a twenty minute wait time not fourty-five live ours was. The food appears decent. Though honestly the wait and non comunitive staff was a bit of an upsetment. Considering I was so excited for a poke bowl, if only they could get food out in a timely and efficient manner. read more

We got the hibachi chicken snd shrimp. It's is not the quality that you would get at a tableside hibachi but one step up from Chinese food. It was served fresh and hot. We enjoyed it. read more

Use to love coming here for a quick hibachi meal. Whoever the lady is working behind the counter should really focus on being nice to your customers. Because let's face it your food isn't as good as it once was and if you have to deal with a rude Asian woman nobody will want the experience of doing so. I rather take my business elsewhere. read more

This was my first time here and was excited to try it out. However, the cashier was not super friendly and made us feel uncomfortable. She wasn't very clear on how we were supposed to receive our food when it was done and when I went to ask after waiting a while, she seemed annoyed. The sushi was mediocre and lacked flavor. Sadly we will not be going back. read more

These guys and gals are awesome. fresh food kind service. We ordered from here several times a month and the longest wait wait is maybe 10 minutes past the quoted time and that's when they are super busy. Which truly understandable. This is the real world after all. And when it comes to the no mask wearing, consider this...Before this pandemic nobody wore masks during cold or flu season. I won't write you guys according to that. Great find. Very fresh food & extremely affordable. Have done takeout from Mikado Poke several times. The tuna poke bowl is great - both with rice and as a salad. Also like the poke burrito, hibachi chicken, and the sushi rolls. We will be going back and trying different combinations of the poke and hibachi dishes in the future. read more
