I moved to the area four years ago. I used to do self-care and I was getting regular massages. Since I couldn't find anyone near where I lived, I had no choice but to discontinue my self care regimen. I won a gift certificate for time in the salt room. It was beautiful and relaxing and so therapeutic. I really enjoyed the experience so much. I was laying down in the salt on my back for most of my time in the salt room. There are 3,000 pounds of beautiful pink Himalayan salt in the room. If you don't want to lie down in the salt, you can sit in zero gravity chairs if you wish. The music is controlled by an MP3 player and you have the option to change the music to lower or raise the volume, etc. I just left it with what it was and it was super relaxing. Salt Room is likely something I never would've tried, so I was grateful to have this experience. I didn't even know this place was around! I have driven by it many times on 209 though. I don't do Facebook and apparently that's where they advertise the most so I didn't even know this business had been in the area for two years and it's relatively close to where I live. I enjoyed my experience so much that I decided to book a one hour massage. I'm very much looking forward to that. When I called to schedule my salt room experience, I requested a tour as well because I wanted to see what they could offer. The owner herself, took her time and took me through. She showed me all the different rooms and offerings that they have and I learned a lot about the red light therapy and other specialties. I really am looking forward to going back. He couldn't turn his head, and his shoulder was elevated on one side. After 2 days of this (and hoping it would go away on it's own) I took him to a chiropractor in Allentown. The only reason I took him elsewhere is because Dr Shoemaker posts shorter hours on Tuesdays. The pain was still there, and now his one hip was also elevated. On Wednesday, the pain and malalignment were still there. I called Dr Shoemaker, who fit him in within 2 hours. Dr Shoemaker said he has scoliosis and wryneck. He started working on my son's back and neck. My boy felt better almost immediately, and when he woke up the next morning, the wryneck was not detectable. Thank you, Dr. Shoemaker! Hanging basket chairs to wade into with toes skimming along the shallow pool. Cozy fireplace lounge area to sit and wait for your service. Multiple saunas to steam in. You can order food and champagne but need to call in ahead for that. Otherwise there's lovely water and snacks to keep you going in the spa itself.
