He couldn't turn his head, and his shoulder was elevated on one side. After 2 days of this (and hoping it would go away on it's own) I took him to a chiropractor in Allentown. The only reason I took him elsewhere is because Dr Shoemaker posts shorter hours on Tuesdays. The pain was still there, and now his one hip was also elevated. On Wednesday, the pain and malalignment were still there. I called Dr Shoemaker, who fit him in within 2 hours. Dr Shoemaker said he has scoliosis and wryneck. He started working on my son's back and neck. My boy felt better almost immediately, and when he woke up the next morning, the wryneck was not detectable. Thank you, Dr. Shoemaker! As a parent, I am beside myself with joy and gratitude. I just thought you should know.
