Three employees were sitting down chatting away while I waited for my appt. I went because i wanted to cut my hair into a long bob but my consultation specialist looked at my hair and said my hair was fried. There was nothing he could do, I was so confused. I said, I'm not here to dye my hair. I'm here for a haircut. He said, I know. You need keratin and once your hair gets healthy I could try. Out of curiosity I asked, if I get my hair back to "healthy " again. I asked who he would recommend and he said nobody here. He claims to have been cutting hair for seven years. I attached pictures to show how bad he blended my hair from where it fades to the top where it is a little bit longer. Additionally, and worst of all he sliced me right above my ear about a half inch cut with the straight razor. For sanitary reasons he should have applied alcohol to disinfect, but he just denied what he did. He knows he cut me. He knows he did a bad job on my haircut. He should be ashamed of himself that he even accepted a dollar from me.

That's 50$ for a chopped cut that I ended up just cutting everything down all to one length when I got home. 6 months of growth, chopped up, gone. We arrived at the salon right at the start of the party, to which we quickly found the drinks and sushi. Liquor was Grey Goose Orange and Dos Equis. Sushi was from Maiko just down the street, and we quickly found the chopsticks and plates. The sushi was run of the mill, but what was nice were $5 gift cards to Maiko scattered about the salon. The salon itself is very nicely decorated with clean, modern look. Even the salon chairs weren't horribly ugly. You know what I'm talking about. Somehow, the decor all fit well nicely. My one complaint, that may be a moot point during normal salon business hours, is the lack of bathrooms. I didn't use the bathrooms there, but there was a huge line the entire time. We took a seat and waited as these four selections were brought to us over and over again. My favorites were the filet mignon with red pepper aioli and giant prawns with a spicy cocktail sauce. My companion's favorite was the filet mignon. The ladies serving the appetizers presented us with cards for free bar entrees at Sullivan's. They said we looked like their type of customers, good eaters. I agree. Companion and I both like to eat. I'd say we were pretty spoiled - drinks, good food, and entertainment by other party patrons.
