I found Valley View online and decided to give them a call. The manager Robbie Came out later that day and spent about an hour with me going over all of my issues. Robbie was helpful and seemed to possess an almost encyclopedic knowledge of weed control methods, chemical usage and overall yard care. He sent a crew over shortly after he left and they treated my lawn. I woke up this morning, and less than 24 hours after they treated my lawn, the weeds are already shriveled up and dying. I'm very happy and will definitely be using them for ongoing maintenance.

After being a no show I get an email saying they didn't make it out, which happens. But instead of coming out the next day, they come out three days later. When I get home later that day I see some work has been done. Large patches of grass were missed all over, what was cut is very uneaven, there is trash laying around in my yardbthay was hit by a lawnmower but just left there, leaves and branches are still everywhere, and when I checked my yard cameras I see leaves we're just blown off into my neighbors yards, for which I am responsible for and have to make appologies for and clean up. So when I contacted The Green Dude about a $100 invoice for this mess, this was the response: "You are right it was not our best work and I apologize if the leaves got blown on the neighbor's lawn. Please take a $20 discount on this invoice." No offer to come out and fix it, the mess is still there and I am still being charged $80, plus need to go fix it myself, along with my neighbor's yards, or spend even more money to have someone come do it. I am very sorry, but I cannot recommend The Green Dude after this. You are better off finding a kid that can use $20 and hire them for this kind of results.

I got a second estimate and William came out quickly, was friendly and punctual, and was able to simply replace the solenoid from Home Depot for a grand total of $77 including labor. he even helped me figure out the zone five drip line.

Back in Oct, William was abled to hand-pull all the weeds in my backyard and mow my lawn in preparation for the winter. He had made sure there's no grass clippings leftover as I was allergic to Bermuda grass so his service was helpful for my health. Initially, did an amazing job and was going to be my go-to lawn guy once the grass is growing again the Spring. Recently for the Spring, I asked him for the same service, weed removal (expecting hand-pulled like last time), lawn mowing, and pre-emergent weed treatments. Total cost was $170 but I gave him $200 especially for gas prices and he had to go pick up supplies. Well, he weed whacked everything instead and it splatter all over the white painted sidings of the new house. He offered to pressure wash and clean the sidings from the mess he created. He also offered to put down additional weed treatment to help control the weeds. He was late for the original Spring service (after I asked him to push the service an hour later). He was a no-show on Saturday to cleaning up weed clippings splattered over the sidings. I had to call him multiple times and he said his customer unexpectedly requested mulch installation and said he can come by at 8am on Sunday. Today, He was a no-show today. I had to call him and he woke up at 10am. He was still a no show after multiple calls. Very disappointed. I wasted almost half my day waiting. Lots of excuses. I understand life happens but lack of communication and method of weed removal was the final straw. Off to continue to find my go-to lawn service person. Initial service in Oct 2025 was 5/5. Follow-up Mar 2026 service 2/5. Do not recommend.

Seriously, we've gone through three different lawn services in our yard has not looked as good ever. We had weeds pulled by hand, hedges trimmed and shaped, a tree cut back, and hazardous branch removed from a large tree and hauled away. These guys were also so neat. everything was collected in reusable bags as they worked, and when done it was packed up . They even used leaf blowers to get all the small pieces away after. I am blown away by the service and look forward to working with the team for the foreseeable future :)
