I was greeted by an 'interesting' waitress that just stared at me until I asked for a table... I thought that normally the hosts would say the first greeting but maybe that's in my culture and the way I was raised... Anyway, after I said that I wanted to have lunch (I guess many come here for drinks as there's a bar right by the entrance), I was shown my table and given the menu. Even though there were three options for the daily special I wasn't really interested in any of them and decided to try a Marguerita pizza (Lausanne has some of the best pizza you'll ever eat!) as it was cheaper than the pizza option available for the daily special (not to mention that it also seemed more appealing). The pizza was prepared in a wood oven, was GIGANTIC and had a nice thin crust. The tomato sauce was OK, the cheese was ok and the flavors was ok too. I guess the only true benefit here is the price to portion size ratio! I can eat quite a lot and it was one of the only places here in Lausanne (if not the only one) that managed to get me full! Dessert was included and it was a nice little ice cream. So to summarize: service ok, place ok, location ok (if you're downtown) but with decent prices. Recommended if you're hungry and on a budget.
