I'm shocked to find a great selection from my hometown (San Diego), and some of my other favorite beers, including BrewDog and Flying Dog beers. The location also means that it's easy for me to pick up celebratory Prosecco or a friend's favorite beer when I greet them at the airport. They also stock a lot of local brews, including ciders, and everything is labeled clearly with the name (in French) and flags of each country below the bottles, well-informing your selection, even if you have a hard time making up your mind with so many bottles to choose from! Thankfully, the staff here are very friendly and helpful, and if you drop in often (or have a lot of visitors, as I do) you can get a frequent buyer card, with a stamp for every 10chf spent. Once the card is full your next beer is on them! They even take used bottles of local beers back and return you the recycling fee upon their return, giving you another reason to keep coming back. Like I need another reason to, anyways- from what I've seen around Geneva, their prices really can't be beat!

We will "dollar cost average" and get over it. But unless you are stuck in Geneva or desperately need an IPA, don't try to load up there for drinks down the road unless you have $$ to spend

I did not know what to expect, but so glad we did it!! I sure agree now, that this is the #1 thing to do in Beaune!! A passionate, knowledgeable, and welcoming husband and wife team introduces you to Burgundy wine, about the region, how to read wine labels, "how to taste Burgundy wines", and food paring. The blind tasting was super fun!! It was the most interesting, educational and fun, eye-opening experience. This is not your typical "wine tasting." I recommend you do this first (when you arrive in Burgundy). The knowledge you'll gain from this tasting experience will benefit the rest of your wine trip in Beaune and Burgundy. We bought a few bottles and they waived the tasting fees, but I believe its only about $10-15, for 3-hour class. (For the value, that's a super bargain!). Reservation is highly recommended. I believe the only way to make a reservation is to call them directly. They speak English so it was super easy and hassle-free to make an appointment by phone.

The website has a list of all the current wines they have to taste. They also have a great schedule of tasting classes that you can take offered in French or English! I have been to several of the tastings and enjoyed them all. They are very informative. The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly. They highlight wines from around the world, and the prices are affordable. I love this little shop and the service is friendly. No one was in-line behind us and when I went to pay for the additional miniatures the disgruntled female employee simply walked away. Luckily a nice young man rang us up as she obviously did not have the patience to. Seems like they are so sad to be there working.
