They were not quick or efficient. It was 4 movers for my two bedroom apartment and there was very little reason for this many people as the work did not progress quickly. Despite having recent foot surgery, I assisted in moving items in and out of both locations. It was apparent they were not well versed in loading the truck as multiple times things needed to be rearranged to fit. Communication was poor and unprofessional. Upon the movers leaving, I noted a significant hole in the drywall of my basement, significant damage to 3 door frames, scratches up and down my ceilings, and damage to a new bookcase. None of this was communicated to me by the movers. When I contacted the owner he was unprofessional and inappropriately insisted that someone from his company come out to do the repairs. We eventually compromised that I would provide him an estimate from my painter. Upon doing so, he was unsatisfied with the estimate (although this was from a licensed, insured, reputable business) and continued to draw out the process for things to be settled. At this time I'm in contact with my attorney on sheer principle as this was far and away the most terrible moving experience I have had in 10 years. I would not recommend use of these movers even in the most desperate circumstances.

This was my first experience with a moving company. I talked to over 10 companies and Parker8Enterprise was the most personable and inviting. Antonio was absolutely amazing. He set us up with 2 movers and a logistics manager. I moved from Philadelphia to about 25 miles outside of the city. I had about a one bedroom that was a small move but I had a lot of STAIRS. STAIRS That would break anyone down but The movers took them on no problem and moved my things with care and urgency. They were responsive to all of my needs and addressed all of my concerns. They were steady going through narrow door frames and stairwells. They moved 7 rooms of family heirlooms [ treasured antiques] with no dings, no bumps, no scratches, not even one mishap. This moving team was very energetic, and they always carried [never dragged] the antique furniture which is very heavy, and they did so with ease. Also in the move were two very heavy butcher blocks. This is where and probably how it happened. Late at night, with a broken Wall Unit leg, Antique Orient Table legs broken. I have move many times, corporate movers, local movers and never has my furniture been chipped, scratched or broken. The company should file for bankruptcy because NO ONE should use them. In fact, the still have NOT Delivered a Shelf they found a week later, probably will NOT see it again! They have it and acknowledge missing transferring it. So, Devin was nice and easy to communicate with before showing up to pack my uhaul. The price was…read moreaffordable. But there were enough issues here that I can't leave a positive review. He asked last minute to show up an hour early, so I wound up rushing around in a panic to unplug things and handle last-minute tasks. In that process, the crew started unscrewing things and pulling out the little metal bolts that hold up shelves, etc...but they handed me some pieces and not others. The move itself was reasonably fast but the helpers didn't seem to have much experience. Cut to a couple hours after they leave, I finally get a chance to eat something and breathe and realize...the walls of the stairway are all scraped up. This didn't happen when furniture got moved in. Then later, Devin texts and tells me he has some of the missing parts for my furniture and will mail them to my new address...the next day, after unpacking a bit, I let him know I also can't find a bunch of screws critical to reattaching my dresser mirror. He says they were taped to the back. Ok. But they must have been covered by a ton of plastic wrap, which is already long gone in the dumpster. Then I notice a bunch of missing paint from my dressers--unclear if that's why the walls were so marked up in the last apt. I was having an intensely stressful time for other reasons, but I reached out to let Devin know about these concerns. It's almost a month later now, and he never did send me those missing shelf pieces he promised. He said they could be replaced over text; I guess that was a hint that I should go spend my time and money figuring that out. I don't think he's a malevolent person but he's also not running a professional operation. I really wish I'd hired a more experienced crew.
