Over a year ago we bought a new set of tires for our Toyota Rav because we were moving our daughter cross country. Otherwise we do not use this vehicle much. Mighty Mike's was recommended to us and we were happy with the service, the quality of the tires, and the price! Over a year later, we got a nail in our tire and had a slow leak. It's challenging to find trustworthy service, products and pricing. Mike is the real deal, great character, expertise, precise work with fair pricing for all. I have been dropping by for one or two things here and there, across 4-5 vehicles in the last decade, and he never disappoints. I can always get serviced within a reasonable timeframe, and expect work to be completed in a reasonable timeframe as well. I now own a Tesla, who would have towed my vehicle for free to one of their dealerships, to replace my tire for several hundred dollars... instead of expertly fixing a perfectly good tire, like Mike did. I decided to try mighty Mike's after reading the reviews on every website I checked. I'm very disappointed I can only give Mike five stars. If I could give him 10 stars I would have. I was in a Zoom meeting and I had a five minute break. I live in Saint John and I called mighty Mike's. Mike called me back and we agreed on a price and he said I can come get your car, and I can try to get your car aligned. I said sure. So he came back about five hours later with my car tires installed and my car aligned. When he came back he said, do you know you have a turn signal out? And he took the car back to the shop and replaced my light for me and only charged me an additional $10. And by the way, the tires are perfect. His recommendation was spot on. We've lived in St John for 5 years. I stumbled upon this place by accident a few months after moving here at 6pm on a Saturday, a flat tire on 41, three sleeping babies in the car and to top it off - in the pouring rain. I pulled in and saw they were closed but Mike came walking out smiling and said he was going to make sure we were taken care of right then and there. I needed 6 tires for my Silverado dually, I shopped around at all the usual places like tire barn, discount tires etc. stumbled across Mighty Mikes tires. He beat all the other places prices by $300 or more. And they weren't tires from Japan or who knows where. Mastercraft tires made in the USA by cooper. He doesn't try to upsell or have any fancy gimmicks like nitrogen filled tires. I also had Chimos auto repair ( they are in the same building as mighty mikes) change 2 serpentine belts on my truck after Mike was done with the tires. They didn't try selling me stuff I didn't need. They ordered the belts, installed them and that was it. I am 60 years old and have been to a lot of tire stores and mechanical shops in my day. These two places put ALL the others to shame. These days it's not commonplace to find truthful and honest businesses, but Mighty Mikes and Chimos are exactly that. I just wish I had found them years ago. They will be getting by business from now on. read more

I had a slow leak in my tire. I was actually just looking for a place to air it back up until I could get it fixed the next day since I had all of my children in the car and it was already late in the day. I pulled into Mighty Mikes not even realizing it was a TIRE place... I had actually seen the gas tanks in front and was praying that there would be an air pump. I was glad that I pulled in by accident though because I got the royal treatment!!! Mike walked out and was super friendly. I knew it was past his closing time (6:30 and he closed at 6 according to the sign on the door) and asked him what time I could drop by the next day to get my tire repaired. He told me to stop right where I was, stay in the car, keep the kids in the car, that he would fix it right there. I told him I could come back the next day and his kind response was "Why? You are here now and you need a tire fixed." I asked if I should pull the car into the garage and he said no, that he would bring everything to me. He jacked the car up, took the tire off, repaired it and put it back on in a very short amount of time. He brought pink suckers out for each of my girls and talked a little about his own grandchildren and how much he enjoyed children before telling me how much the service was. His price was sooo low that I felt bad only paying him that much. I will definitely go back the next time I have a tire problem. He told me to remember him the next time I need gas, too. He said he is a full service station. I haven't seen one of those since I was a little girl. I haven't been there for gas though because I don't drive by there very often. By the way,he doesn't take credit cards but does accept cash or check so remember if you go there! read more
