Clearly not new! On 17June at 10:12am, staffer Shreya promised me a full refund and that a driver would collect the faulty unit. I requested the call recording for proof. Hours later, Sarah from the same store flatly denied any such promise, blamed my English, and insisted the next visit was an "installation check" - not the pickup she had assured. Her reversal and refusal to release the recording is outright misleading and a breach of consumer guarantees (ACL s18, 29 &54). Even worse, Sarah's implication that I "misunderstood" due to language ability feels discriminatory. I've lodged complaints with NSW Fair Trading (Case#11417907) and ACCC. The Good Guys Auburn's "customer service" (especially Sarah) has been a nightmare. If you value honesty and your refund rights, steer clear of this branch.

We took it back the "Manager" would not even look at the damage to assess it. We hadn't even asked for a refund or replacement. She just blamed us for the damage. She will probably repack it and sell it to some one else. Please make sure you open all purchases in front of them to make sure they are not damaged because they will not replace or refund anything. They don't even check to see what damage it is, they just blame you. Horrible "manager" with not listening or communication skills. The TV was cheap, that's why we bought it in the first place. We just left it there. So if you are buying a Hisense from the Good Guys at Auburn, check inside the box before leaving the store. They also apparently check video footage of how an item is placed into your vehicle when you collect an item from them and that is their "proof" as to whether you caused the damage or not. The only thing is that it is their storepeople that actually handle the products and assist you in placing them in your vehicle. You aren't allowed to see the footage however. One sided, unfairness, unjust. Go to Bing Lee or Harvey Norman instead much nicer customer service.

February came and we had received no update. We spent the next 6 months proactively calling Domayne for updates after being told it will arrive in March, then July and finally August. No apology was uttered from anyone as we were continuously palmed off to various team members across Furniture, Payments and Customer Service. Understandably, Covid has had an effect on all, but to think a reputable business like would treat customers like this is appalling. The cherry on top - the sofa arrived today (218 days later) with 2 left hand sides! Yet another call has provided no clear solution as we were told to wait for a response from a lady who only works Mon-Fri. This is beyond the worst experience we have ever had. In summary, buy from any other retailer in Australia - the only thing premium about these guys is the price.

The service is very good. I purchased two white goods from them and they offered to deliver the goods free. Living on the second floor of an apartment without lift, it is commendable they delivered it upstairs. They also unpacked the goods, and installed it and made sure it was working perfectly. I especially loved the fact, that they took away the cartons with them, leaving no mess behind. They constantly have promotions in store but i got a better deal by speaking to the salesmen.
