If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience here has been nothing short of disheartening, unprofessional, and potentially dangerous -- the kind of neglect that should never happen to anyone, especially when dealing with something so personal and serious. I originally began seeing Laura Sweeney, who was decent. When she became unavailable, I was pushed to Mallory Brown -- and that's when everything fell apart. Mallory is dismissive, unresponsive, lacks any sense of urgency, and has absolutely no compassion or attentiveness for her patients. She doesn't listen, doesn't return calls, and seems more interested in brushing off concerns than addressing them. Here's the reality: I first visited in April 2025 for abnormal menstrual spotting -- something completely unusual for me. I expressed my concern and was immediately told to "wait it out" because it could be perimenopause. Despite mentioning hair loss and other alarming changes, she dismissed me outright. Instead of listening or wanting to understand my medical history, she suggested a pregnancy test. That was the first red flag. Months passed. My cycle became lighter, then suddenly in late August, everything worsened -- intense pain, excessive bleeding, and large clots. I scheduled multiple appointments, each time being told the same dismissive things and repeatedly being asked to take yet another pregnancy test. By September, I was bleeding heavily every day, going through multiple boxes of pads, and begging for real answers. I asked for a full hormonal panel, and she questioned why I would even want that. She finally ordered some blood work -- but not what I requested -- and when my hemoglobin levels came back dangerously low, she said she wasn't concerned. Instead, she tried to push birth control, still without understanding or diagnosing the root cause of my bleeding. Even after I reminded her of my previous fibroid and C-section, she ignored that context. She eventually ordered an ultrasound, which was "unclear," and then an MRI -- but the entire process was delayed because the office couldn't manage my insurance transition properly. By the time I finally got the MRI on October 11th, I ended up in the ER the very next day, one point away from needing a blood transfusion, and also diagnosed with pneumonia in my right lung. To make matters worse, when the MRI results came in, she called me once -- I missed the call by a minute. I immediately called back, left multiple messages over several days, and she never returned my call. Each time I followed up, I was told she was "with a patient" or "at another facility". Only after I completely lost my patience did she finally call -- with zero accountability, little urgency to get me seen, and no acknowledgement of how dire my condition had become. read more

Had the absolute best experience throughout my wife's entire pregnancy going here. Everyone was truly just there to make things better for us in every way. From Sunny, the super sweet lady at the front desk, to the awesome medical assistants, to Mallory and Laura. A special shout-out to Laura Sweeney. She was the one who took my wife's IUD out; saw her for the first time once she was pregnant and then helped her push for two hours until the baby came on delivery day. Words can't express how lucky I felt to have a provider that put everything aside to just be there for my wife through delivery. Laura Sweeney is the absolute best! I transferred care to Rose midwifery at 30 weeks and she made a stressful situation very easy and comfortable! Always spent time answering my questions and addressing concerns! All the medical assistants that check you in and the receptionist, Sunny, we're all so sweet and nice! I would recommend anyone see Laura and deliver at Rose! I ended up having a c section and Laura was right there with my husband and I in the room talking us through everything. Unempathetic, unorganized and uneducated. My first pregnancy, I went here, and was first told I was not pregnant. (I was very much so) then they drew my blood so poorly that after failing on one arm, switched to the other and left me with very sore arms and huge bruises. A few weeks later I had a miscarriage and when I went back to midwifery at Rose, they forgot I was waiting in a doctors office for two hours. A doctor finally came in and was extremely short and cold about my miscarriage. She prescribed me birth control pills and antidepressants, both of which I did NOT want, drew my blood poorly leaving me with huge bruises again, and sent me home telling me to come back in a few days. They misspelled my name on my insurance paperwork and my insurance never ended up going through, so I ended up owing over $3k for two visits. I ended up giving the antidepressants a shot and they gave me extreme anxiety. I called and told the doctor about this and she said to just keep taking them. I never went back. I stopped taking the meds. 10/10 would not recommend. This was the most awful place to have to deal with while going through such a huge life experience. read more

Im so sad to write this because my experience with rose medical center and rose Midwifry had been nothing short of spectacular thus far. Unfortunately I had a not so great experience this time around and it made me really sad and disappointed. This was my third pregnancy and admittedly my most difficult one yet. My baby was due early December but I was pretty sure I would go into early labor because I had early labors with my first two I also have them really fast and my water always breaks. The weekend before thanksgiving I labored Friday Saturday and Sunday, I went in for a labor check and wasn't dilating, at that point I was already 38 weeks. But on Monday my contractions stopped after 3 days of contractions I was so frustrated, uncomfortable and confused. But then it was thanksgiving that week and I had lots of plans so I went about that week uncomfortable and in pain but still no water or progress. That Friday they started up again, unfortunately because of the holiday and to my surprise there where NO MIDWIVES AVAILABLE. I was so disappointed and upset that a stranger was probably going to end up delivering my baby. I have spend months getting to know the midwives, and let's face it baby's are born everyday, there should always be someone on call no matter the holiday. So I went into the hospital on Saturday, due to labor pains and I felt like my baby wasn't moving as much, due to all the midwives being gone not even on call there was no one to sign an Induction order and of course the on call random doc didn't want to come in if they didn't have to. So I was sent home again! But I continued to be in labor and I was turning 39 weeks at midnight so I went back at around 1145 at night on the 27th. The doctor finally agreed to induce me thank god.... But my experience only got worse from there. I was taken to a really old and dated delivery room, not one of the nice new ones I saw on the tour, some random doctor was going to be delivering me and I was so upset that I would have a midwife instead. Also I was so worried it would be male doctor thank god I wasn't but she didn't even come in until I was pushing, I don't even know her name. We figured out why there was a decrease in fetal movement... the cord was wrapped around his neck explaining why I wasn't going into full blow labor or dilating like I normally would have. Also when I got my epidural it took the 6-7 tries, they tried 3-4 in my lower back then had to go to the middle of my back and do it another 2-3 times before they finally got it, I'm two months out and am still experiencing back pain and back spasms. Over all, this being my last pregnancy I was really looking forward to another beautiful experience and I feel like since it was a holiday I was robbed of that experience. I unfortunately won't ever recommend rose or rose Midwifry again and that makes me so sad because I literally was so obsessed with them before. read more

All the midwives here are so great. I've met 4 different ones and they have all been warm and helpful. They are also non-judgmental. I was suggested to take a blood thinner due to a previous issue and I decided not to take it and while they recommended it, they also didn't push me to take something I didn't want to take. They are wonderful. MiDean, the receptionist, is also wonderful. She is professional and always trying to work with people's insurance and schedules. She is phenomenal. Love this practice! read more

I wrote the statement below on Wednesday on Google. I went back on to see if they replied. They had my review removed. Someone had liked my review so it was live. I was wondering how there weren't more complaints since there were so many at every appointment. That's extremely concerning to me if they're hiding negative reviews, as women should be able to decide where they go for their care in a fair and honest way. I have been going here since 6 weeks pregnant and I was SO excited about the office because I have heard great things. I am not sure if people do not share their opinions as much on here because they have to continue to go there and then after your busy with baby. I know I thought about not sharing because I know I want to deliver in the labor unit there. Also for fear of the experience getting worse if I shared my concerns. Every woman in the waiting room says they always have to wait so long and it is never on time for them either. After today I can no longer keep the thoughts for myself and I can't imagine it will get worse. If this helps someone else get better care that is all I want. I have never had one appt on time and I have always waited at least 30 minutes for care. Today I had an appt at 9am (something the midwife recommended I do as those ones are not suppose to be late). I did not get seen until 9:28 and my next appt was to start at 9:30. This was my 21 week ultrasound and an appt my husband took off of work for...the tech was super rushed and snappy. Finished my experience I have been so excited for because of my struggles with infertility in 12 minutes. I think she was running behind and it was clear she was not in a happy mood. Then from 9:40 until 10:25 I waited to be seen by my midwife. I have seen both Laura and Amy. They both come in out of breathe and rushed. They spend 3 quick minutes with you so they can rush onto the next person. They do not know anything about you and then they read through your chart in front of you. I picked a midwife so I do not have a cold experience. Someone I felt cared and connected. I LOVED my first midwife with my son but we moved. I let Amy know I would be writing this review and she said I should that maybe other people who manage things would listen because she did not even know where I was as the system did not tell her. Laura told me in the past they do not have enough staff. I think they need to schedule less appts. Give the midwives time to have with each person. Not be more than 15/20 min late. No one should have to be there for 2 hours for 15 minutes of time. This has happened for me 3 of my appts the 2 hour experience for 10/15 min of time. I do not know if it is the midwives or if it is who ever is managing the systems. I think the midwifes would do a better job if they were scheduled better. The both seem like nice ladies just SO rushed and their mind is not there with you. I have not learned anything or been given any kind of information about what is happening. Just the heart beat and any questions. It seems like I could do the care I receive at home. If this were once or twice okay, but I have never had one regular, not late experience here. The reason I put 2 stars is because Nailey the nurse who takes me in first is ALWAYS so nice and professional. During such an exciting and scary time for many I think that is what this office should be giving out. I think the midwives are also not bad people or rude. I think in the right circumstance and managed better this could be a 5 start place for sure. They can only do so much. I had to jump through hoops to get off of work to make an emergency appointment. The staff was great at helping me get in for an appointment. As I arrived for my appointment I was told I was not allowed to check in bc I did not have a mask. I let them know that I had my vaccination card with me, and asked to be given a mask. The answer was no. I usually have a mask in my car, but today I didn't bc happen to have given my car mask to someone earlier this week. I was told to go look in my car. If I had one in my car I would've worn it in. I then asked to pay for a mask, once again no. I work in the medical field. My office would never turn a patient away who needed help when we had mask in the office. read more

I absolutely love the midwives at Midwifery at Rose. I drive nearly an hour to get to their office and deliver at their hospital because I have loved my experiences there so much. They have assisted me in achieving the birth goals I have desired with both of my children. They have always listened to my concerns and my input, trusting and believing me as a patient. I have felt safe, understood and supported under their care. My experiences with the staff were not always ideal, however, that was far less important to me. read more

I have had such a pleasurable experiences with Midwifery at Rose. They have been so warm and welcoming from the get go. I always get reminders for my appointments and it's a easy going process through it all. Only have had two visits and every single person at this location is heavily equipped and poised when handling emotional woman. (Hormonal) I have had a very trying past and struggle with getting pregnant and staying pregnant. From fibro to endometriosis. And Ptsd from child abuse. I needed support on so many levels and every single person made themselves available to me when I needed it. Nayeli when out of her way to talk with me on a personal note and let me literally cry on her shoulder. She hugged me and made me feel strong and valuable. Both Nayeli and Jessica made me feel good because the went out of their way to pronounce my name correctly and approach me with respect. I'm 26 but I look like I'm 14. And not once did I ever feel like I was talked down to or belittled like I have at other places like Kaiser or Porter. They are very skilled phlebotomists and when ever I have labs that need to be done I can get in and out of there in 10 minutes!!! They are fast. it never hurts when they poke me. And the blood draw is always a peaceful procedure. I changed over my Medicare/Medicaid just so I could be at this location through this process with my baby! Even my Significant other was highly impressed. (tough critic) I hope this helps anyone looking for a old school family oriented clinic. I moved from Denver Health to Midwifery at Rose. I felt like I made the best decision doing so. At Midwifery I am getting so much more information than I did with my other two pregnancies. And everyone is so kind. I seen a few reviews saying that they take so long but from what I have experienced they take time with each patient to answer questions and concerns they may have and sometimes time flies by. I definitely recommend going here. You will be well informed and treated like an actual person rather than a number. read more

The actual providers at this center are pretty good and provide adequate support. However, the front desk staff and the office manager are unempathetic and do not have any understanding of their billing process. Dealing with billing with this clinic has been nothing short of a headache! I had an appointment yesterday and let them know that I'd be transferring care for the rest of my pregnancy and would like to pay for my last appointment since I had not received the bill in the mail to pay for it. They could not figure out how to accept my payment for my last appt when I first arrived, then at the end of the appointment they tried to strong arm me into paying an unwarranted $1100 bill! When I asked for an itemized bill for these charges neither of them understood what I was asking for and continued to try and tell me that it was for all of the ultrasounds I'd had up until this point, as if I had not already paid for those appointments! Having an HR and insurance background certainly gave me the footing I needed to push back because I knew that was NOT the way medical billing worked with insurance. However, had I not had that training and background they may have succeeded in having me overpay for my bill. It was an incredibly stressful experience and I can only imagine how many people have been affected by this more management and office staff. If you have an option, I'd highly suggest looking elsewhere for care. read more
