Had Dave come out and give me a estimate look at the back and masseur, I was told $1900 he…read moreneeded 50% up front and cash only, I trusted the man, well what a mess, he sent out two man one 75 year old and one Young man, the young man spent half the time on the phone and what ever work he did it had to be Turn down and redone by the old gentlemen, the brick line did not lined up properly so the bricks underneath the first line will not be locked in in place, it had to be taking down and redone, a one day jab turned into a four day job, I asked Dave if he Wood glue some of the bricks he said no that's more money more labor, well I pick up a tube of glue for the concrete I gave it to the young man and it took 20 minutes and $20 later, The brick we're not on a straight line, so one more time and have to be taken down and redone, when the gentleman put the glue on between the brick he shoved, a screwdriver, lifted the bricks squished the glue in, there was glue dripping out the sides of the not being done correctly, I was told I was looking to get out of paying the balance, and I will pay when the job is finished,He will not come out. He had the young man take a pictures send them him, Dave call me and tell me it looks beautiful, well, finally, I pick up a shovel and went out worked with the guys for a few days, i am in lol the pic working and paying this company, for three days, breaking my back after that, I was having a party and had no time, when they left the job, they left a bunch of trash in the street. I had to go out and pick it up, when they did the side of the house, I drew a line we're I wanted the bricks line up, well the guy did the opposite. He built it the way he liked it, so the older gentleman had to come back took it all down and redo it again., Story short, i been true hell I can not have enough room to write the rest of the story. I will not recommend this to my worst enemy. This company is terrible. I got yelled at by Dave. I got called a scammer every day telling me that I was looking not to pay the bill, i call him to come out and look at the job and make it right well what a disaster, he never come to the job sight, then I was told many times I was a scammer looking not to pay the bill, then I was told by the guys they get paid cash only so obviously he's got no Workmen's Comp. and no insurance, never again, I will never give cash or deposit to a company I hire, after trusting him I don't recommend him do you self a favor don't use this company.

As the pictures show, not a very professional job. When we asked them to fix the crooked, burned out, and haphazardly strung lights or refund the money, Mr. Woodring replied, "From the jump, I explained we don't install XMAS lighting. This is something that we do not do. We are on vacation Sir." Note: Their website says they install holiday lighting (and they accepted the job!!). See attached. You said they would not be a problem, It's a problem. And what is the vine on the one lilac? I hope it's not poison ivy. No response from her. I contacted her again, on the 17th. Kathryn, these are growing up through the mat you put under the rocks. You said that wouldn't happen. Her reply yesterday the 17th. Hi Lori, I had discussed with you that the bagged rock was full of dirt which is causing this issue. I blew off as much as I could the day of however there was still way too much. This is typical from bagged rock. My best recommendation now would be to remove the rock and throughly rinse the area of all dirt and debris or remove the rock (you can use elsewhere if you'd like), throughly clear all dirt and debris then lay new rock from my vendor. I want to point out that the weeds are coming from above the weedmat from the dirt that came with the rocks. If you move the nearby rocks to the weeds, you'll see that the start of the roots are on top then they're penetrating the mat allowing them to keep growing. I will be happy to come out again. Let me know which option you'd like to go with and I'll send you the estimate. My reply yesterday. No, I have pulled the rocks back, and they are through the mat in several places. Why didn't you rinse it when you put it down there if you knew that was an issue? There was a hose right there. So the mat is not stopping anything and you knew this would happen. So I paid you 2K for nothing other than making it a smaller area with the same issues. That is unacceptable, that I have to come after your work to remove and rinse what you knew to be a problem, and did not take care of. By the way, she said with the industrial mat nothing would come through, that's why she uses it. She only used two bags of new rock, the rest were the original rocks, she did not mention they needed to be rinsed along with all of the existing rock and she didn't do it. From the amount of dirt between the rock and mat it looks like she didn't rinse near enough or at all. Here is her reply. I did rinse it once it was laid and I blew off at high velocity. However it didn't remove all of it. I did let you know the day of about the issue with the dirt in the rocks. The roots are penetrating the mat from above not below. She said I rinsed it once AFTER it was laid, not before. So, the mat and the rocks were not rinsed before she put them back. Thus leaving the dirt in all of the rock she put back. So I still have grass and weeds growing in my new landscaping.

Alfonso came to our home and we were immediately impressed by his professionalism. He asked lots of questions and he listened. He came back the following week with a landscaping plan that incorporated everything that we asked for and at a reasonable price. Work started about a week later and the guys that did the hard work were impressive, too. They were conscientious and courteous. They cleaned up their work area and stored their equipment each evening before they left. Even our neighbors were impressed. Everything looks great and is exactly like the plan. This was just phase 1--we'll be calling Alfonso in the spring for phase 2!
